We had a good experience here today. We ordered a small hamburger and some french fries. We also order some margaritas, and we enjoyed all of it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is nice to have a cool place to sit down during a hot day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] People are very friendly, and they wait on you right away. This is the great place to eat.
Flo's V8 Cafe. Another money trap. This is a self serve restaurant. I got the Chicken Strips and fries, strawberry milkshake and Strawberry Cream Soda. The milkshake was the only thing acceptable. The chicken strips were 3 small, frozen in a bag that were fried. The fries were a pinch. Literally, smallest serving ever. The cream soda was disgusting. It was soda water, strawberry flavor syrup, yogurt and corn flakes on top. *Never again*
I got the "Big Dipper" cheeseburger (without caramelized onions), which is Disneyland's spinoff of the Applebee's o-m cheeseburger or the Tokyo burger trend. It was decent, nothing too remarkable. It tasted like a basic burger, but I liked the pepperoncinis in the cheese sauce. The patty could've been juicier though.
We did a mobile order but it probably would have been faster if we'd just waited in line. Eventually I received the Stop Sign Cream Soda Pop because I usually love anything with strawberries in it. It had strawberry flavored cereal flakes on the top which were fabulous, but the drink itself was honestly really sweet. For me that's saying a lot, and I didn't really want to finish it. I did try mixing it but it didn't seem to make much of a difference to the flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm sure there are other good things to try there and the theming is just so darn cute that I would love to come back and pick something else from their menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's more of a novelty with the burger cut in half and placed on top of the melty pepperocini cheese. The burger was pretty decent. The beef patty was cooked medium. It wasn't a dry burger. Worth a try. - Stop Sign Cream Soda Pop was enjoyable. I would get this again. The strawberry flavor and textures with the cereal topping were nice, and the Sprite kept it refreshing. - Flo's Classic Shake is a Neapolitan ice cream shake (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry) topped with cookie crumble "Road Gravel" and is excellent anytime. Sadly, the steak fries and all the other unique French fry styles (crinkle, film strip, etc.) are gone, replaced by ordinary shoestring fries. Hopefully, they all return to the parks soon! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Flo's V8 is a great spot to relax and get some tasty American comfort grub.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The kind cast members will help clear your tables and trays when finished, while the rest of the service is usually good as well. What We Ordered: -Flo's Famous Fried Chicken with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Seasonal Vegetables $19.99 -Flo's Neapolitan Shake $7.79 We ordered Flo's Famous Fried Chicken with Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and steamed Broccoli and Carrots. Honestly, for park food, the fried chicken was pretty good. It was fried to golden perfection with tender meat. The roasted garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, and steamed broccoli and carrots complemented the chicken well. My wife ordered the same thing, and she also really liked the fried chicken. We were lucky; they made a mistake on our Flo's Neapolitan Shake, and they gave us the "messed-up" one for free. We ended up getting two for the price of one. What a lucky day!
My review of Disneyland / DCA salads continues with Fillmore's Groovy Greens. Now, I was never a Cars girl, so idk who Fillmore is but as a salad-lover I'm not sure what exactly made these greens groovy. Honestly, it was one of the most mid salads I've had to date. A very thin layer of romaine and mixed greens topped with corn, beans, edamame, cucumber, thinly sliced carrots, and fried chicken strips (very few, honestly the beans really help with the extra protein here). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since it's Carsland, this is obviously kid central. The seating area could be more abundant and better shaded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We mobile ordered to make pickup as smooth as possible but it still took a while between clicking prepare order and heading to the pickup window. Honestly, I like that they refreshed the menu, but this isn't a salad I would soon return for.
[[HIGHLIGHT]]Flo is located in Cars Land. There are indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really wanted to try the apple crumble, which was offered during their holidays menu. I placed a mobile order on the app. My order was ready as estimated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I sat inside as it was pretty warm outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The crumble was warm. A bit too sweet. The ice cream was a good addition. Flavor profile was good but nothing too ordinary. Service was quick and friendly.
We got the Groovy Greens salad, and it was pretty good. It needs more beans (edamame and white beans) and more than 1 cherry tomato, but the flavor was really good. The dressing was delicious. I liked the crispy quinoa, but either it had a gritty texture or there was still some sand in the kale/romaine. I would order it again; I just want them to increase the protein and non-leafy veggies for us plant eaters.
We came in to check out the new food shown online, but realized the new food was not getting served until 23rd. So I got the turkey leg from the cart outside and brought drinks My husband got the hamburger combo but it was so sad. The bun was really dry and the fries was really dry too. The portion size is quite small. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating here is quite nice and the cleaning crew is very active in cleaning the tables so it's quite clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]the outside is usually full, but the inside usually has seats and on one side you can actually see people going on rides[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I probably would rest here and bring the food from the other mobile cart and get the drink drinks or salad here I do not recommend getting the burger here
We came to have dinner here and honestly, it was amazing food I tried out their salad and it was so delicious. The salad was crispy fresh the dressing was incredible. The chicken was a well cooked, and the crust was crispy crunchy and just perfection. I think it was one of the second best salads I had at the park and each place I went to. I got a salad so this place was surprising. Everyone else also loved their salads. We tried out the chicken club sandwich, which is also pretty incredible. It is on the price of your side but honestly, it's the same as all the other food places in the park I would highly recommend this as a stop.
This Carsland diner is super cute, with its gas station theme, neon lights, and aqua colors. Make sure to go into the back dining room with a giant Riverview mirror - - very cool! There are little jukeboxes of each of the pickup windows, also very cool. This is a counter service place, kind of. Pay at the register and then go up to the windows to pick up your food. You can order ahead during busy times and put your order in on your phone when you arrive. You'll get a message on your tobyland app saying when your food is ready. We ordered two pastrami sandwiches and fries and fried chicken plates. Pastrami sandwiches were amazing and stacked high with pastrami. Fries were fine but nothing special. The Fried Chicken was absolutely delicious as was the mashed potatoes with chicken gravy. The mixed veggies were cold and didn't taste anything special. No special seasoning or even better that I could tell. This evening alone makes this place a great place to eat, and if you don't expect much from the veggies, then the food is really good too. Well we didn't order any hamburgers, I should say that they did not look great. So stick with the pastrami and Chicken in your golden!
For years, I've been told that I needed to try the fried chicken at Flo's or just try in general. I generally eat meat free, but splurged this weekend to try this meal. This chicken is definitely overhyped and lacked flavor. I honestly find KFC has a better fried chicken meal and would have much preferred Plaza Inn as I recall that being a solid meal in the years past when I had. I don't always eat meat as it tends to make me feel poorly and a shame I tried for such an average plate of fried chicken. My bestie had the race day salad as it was the weekend of her half marathon, which was the reason we chose this location as the salad looked like a solid meal to fuel her soon to be race. She said it was pretty decent, so the meal was pretty average all around. We did enjoy the decor, the comfort of the booth, and the friendliness of service when grabbing our mobile order. Speaking of mobile order, you can mobile order and pay so skip that line for lunch and/or dinner! Disney is missing the mark as this location could be a great breakfast location. Who wouldn't love a diner breakfast? I know I would!

Kevin and I have stopped by Flo's V8 Café a couple of times now, and each visit has been a really great experience. We've tried the club sandwich and the pastrami sandwich, and both were absolutely hearty, flavorful, and really satisfying. They're definitely filling options, and perfect if you're looking for something that will actually keep you full during a long park day. We used mobile ordering both times, and everything was ready right on time, which made the experience really smooth and easy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lobby also seems to move pretty quickly even when it looks busy, it doesn't stay crowded for long.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's seating both inside and outside, which we really appreciate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We've personally been able to find seating each time without an issue, but it's definitely a popular spot, so seating can get a bit limited during peak times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Another thing we loved is how convenient everything is set up they have condiments and napkins easily accessible inside, and you can even access the restrooms directly from inside the restaurant, which is such a nice and underrated detail.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, Flo's is a great mix of good food, efficient service, and convenient setup, making it a solid stop in the park that we always enjoy coming back to. Flo's V8 Cafe at Disney California Adventure is a pretty solid diner style quick service option inside the park. The menu has a surprisingly wide range, from salads to fried chicken, and most of what I've tried has been consistently good for theme park food. It's the kind of place where everyone in a group can find something without too much debate, which already feels like a win. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The real highlight for me is the outdoor patio, which has great views of Radiator Springs and makes for excellent people watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Timing it right and catching the racing segment of Radiator Springs Racers while you eat is an added bonus that never gets old.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's not a must eat destination, but it's a very enjoyable spot to sit, recharge, and soak in some of the best scenery in the park.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more
I have to admit, I wasn't really expecting that much at Flo's V8 Cafe. Just went mainly for the vibes and the nostalgia because I love Cars and diner settings in general. Flo's famous fried chicken is a must have. Really good chicken straight off the fryer that tasted great. The mashed potatoes and veggies on the side were also great. The pastrami sandwich was solid but nothing special, I also got some pretty fatty chunks of pastrami but liked the pickles in the sandwich. Where I have to give them props is the portions are huge! Wasn't really expecting that with theme park food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can't beat the classic diner settings, cool decor, and a great view of Cars land in the back patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A really good option for food in California Adventure in my opinion. Reasonable pricing, huge portions that could easily feed a family of four with just two dishes, and awesome setting. The food did take about 10-15 minutes to come out but it wasn't a big issue. Ordered the Ka cheeseburger and mango habanero wings. Arrived too early for Halloween themed food but were too hungry to wait lol. Kaitlin, our cashier, was super nice and friendly even though it was so busy. It really makes for a wonderful experience. She explained I could still order the regular buffalo wings and they were pretty close to the halloween special. So I tried the mango habanero wings. Sweet and spicy! Made perfectly. Tender with some crunch on the outside. Thank you! read more
Flos V8 cafe is always a solid lunch option at California Adventure! My dad ordered the pastrami sandwich, mom and I split the Flo's Famous Fried Chicken, and my nephew orders the kids burger. The sandwich was packed with meat, and my dad enjoyed it. The fried chicken was pretty classic and I liked the coating on it. I know the burger was kid sized, but it was extremely tiny! I could've eaten it in one bite. My nephew, who is 7 by the way, didn't seem to mine and seemed to enjoy it. I also have been here a few years ago and ordered the fried chicken salad and really liked it! Next time, I would probably consider getting that again. When at California Adventure, we always have a meal at Flo's V8 Cafe. I haven't eaten anything I didn't like here. This last trip, I got a Chicken Salad and my son got the Pastrami sandwich. I was craving a salad since I had only been eating junk food. It was delicious! I especially liked the snap peas that came in it. My son's sandwich was huge! It was so filling and tasty and surprisingly not salty at all. Service was ok. We did wait pretty long to get our food. Apparently, the salads and sandwiches take long to make. The server did keep apologizing, so nothing against him at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the diner look and it's always pretty clean inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and our meal. read more
Came specifically to try the Pastrami Sandwich. We mobile ordered and don't know what happened but it was ready 15 minutes after our window. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating was busy but if you wait around people are constantly flowing in and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Pastrami Sandwich was so good. I would even say it's up there on the best things I've ate at DCA. Between the rye bread there's mustard, lettuce, pickles, pastrami, and Swiss cheese. It's a good size sandwich. The sandwich came with fries which were perfectly crispy. I shared this with a friend and it was a perfect light meal. I would highly recommend giving this a try. read more
Dined at Flo's V8 Cafe in Disney California Adventure during Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Event. Flo's V8 Cafe never disappoints. No long lines, no wait times and food is always prepared fresh and hot. The cast members are consistent in providing excellent customer service. Serving portions of their meals are more than enough. During this visit I ordered the Ka-Cheeseburger. It is Angus Beef Patty and Mushroom Patty with American Cheese, Red Onions, Shredded Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles and Thousand Island dressing on a Toasted Bun. It is also served with choice of Cuties Mandarin Oranges or Fries. Many available tables and chairs inside the cafe as well as outside the cafe for dining. One of my favorite food items on Flo's V8 Cafe menu is Flo's Famous Fried Chicken. So good! read more
Had the Neapolitan milkshake and it was way too sweet! Tried the pastrami sandwich recently and it was okay. The pastrami was stringy which made it hard to eat and the mustard was overpowering. The fries were already cold when we got them. The view of Radiator Springs is really nice though!! Great spot to sit and relax. read more
Came here twice one in the afternoon and another one in the evening. They had milk shakes and we got all three flavors; vanilla, chocolate and strawberry Chocolate one was incredibly sweet and we just finished 1/3 of it and it was enough for us, secondly strawberry and the least sweet one was vanilla one although everything was sweet over all. And that was our afternoon visit. We came here to have dinner as well. We had burgers since other places were fully packed and no where to go nor sit so we came here again. So happy that they have impossible burgers so vegetarian people like me can still enjoy while being in the theme park! :) read more
We came to Flo's for breakfast during our day at Disney California Adventure Park after the first run of rides after rope drop. The restaurant conveniently locates near the Cars rides (of course the name) so it was a great spot to take a break and regain our energy. The decoration is spot on and thematic. The menu contains mostly fast food so the tables were available quickly even if there were many people. The food on the other hand was nothing special other than their names. We tried Ramone's Low & Slow Club. Taste and portion were average. It also came with fries and we actually enjoyed the fries more than the sandwich itself. In overall, it was an okay place to eat something and continue your magic day. I hope they would add something special to the menu to match the theme and the price. I have not yet had food from Flo's, but it is another great a lot to grab a yellow cup, especially if you are about to get in line for Radiator Springs Racers. The Pink Lemonade Seltzer was very good, but the Pineapple Habanero Margarita was definitely not as good as I was hoping. It was a bit too sweet and the habanero flavor just wasn't there. 3.5 to 4 stars I love DCA and all the options of food but sometimes I go to the parks with finicky family and are not as adventurous in trying the seasonal menu. Flo's V8 Cafe is a solid place for good American diner food. Ample seating outside and inside, we have to problem finding a place to eat. On good days with good weather, we like sitting in the outdoor area with Radiator Springs in view. It has a good breeze and it is not so loud as it is in the front. The front resembles a gas station and inside, it is a giant 50s diner. Food is solid. Chicken strips, fries, bacon cheeseburger- they all are well cooked and season. The fried chicken is like Plaza Inn at Disneyland so you don't have to head to the other park if you are craving the fried chicken. Overall, it's a great option for those moments where you just want something familiar and comforting. read more
I came here for a quick bite, the food is pricy but tasty! We got a water bottle for $4 and then a kids Mac and cheese for $7 which came with a mini water bottle, carrots, and fries. Best place to get burgers and sandwiches inside DCA! Inside Cars land you'll have the best view of the radiator spring racers. A nice place to take a break from the craziness and people watch. Great prices and decent portions. Even the kids meals are good for adults! There are walk up cashiers to get your order. read more

I love the retro vibes of this restaurant! Such a cool spot to sit and enjoy a meal under the neon lights. They do mobile ordering if you don't feel like standing in line. Their burgers are okay, nothing special. My fiancé likes to enjoy one every now and then. The fried chicken plate on the other hand is surprisingly good. I had the mango habanero chicken strips, which come with fries, ranch and green onions on top. These were surprisingly good, they were crispy with a slight kick. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, but my favorite spot is in the back where you get a view of radiator springs racers. Eating here while watching the cars race by is so fun!! read more
Came here with the fam for a day of fun and stopped by Flo's they had a delicious gingerbread shake for the holidays and I got their fried chicken, it was pretty tasty, there was plenty of seating and the people were really nice and helpful, over all good vibes in here!
