Chili Cheese Dog with bag of chips - $9.99
Phil C.

Update: 6.30.25 Refreshment Corner has been a staple of tasty comfort food, drinks, and snacks. The menu boasts some delicious hot dogs, pretzels, and stews in bread bowls. When I need a quick snack to hold me over during the day, the hot dogs are perfect. I recently enjoyed the Chili Cheese Dog, and although messy, it satisfied my hunger. The menu also includes a variety of beverages, special event sippers, seasonal offerings, and allergy-friendly options. Unfortunately, no alcoholic drinks are available. The staff has been kind and helpful. Mobile ordering is a time-saver, and Magic Key passholders can take advantage of their discounts. Prices are generally reasonable and won't break the bank. The shaded outdoor seating and live piano music create a joyful, Disney atmosphere.

Hearty Chili.

When we started planning our return to Disneyland, I knew for sure that one thing I wanted to eat was chili. I assumed I'd once again have to get a tiny cup from Carnation Cafe, so when I discovered that Refreshment Corner was selling a full-sized version, I was very happy (to put it mildly). And so it was that I found myself ordering the Hearty Chili ("All-Beef Chili served in a Sourdough Bread Bowl topped with Shredded Cheese"). It was ready pretty quickly and I began eating with glee. It's a terrific chili. It's got plenty of flavor and the level of spice, though a little on the mild side, is just about perfect. The robust, beefy flavor takes it over the top, too. The sourdough bread bowl should've enhanced the whole thing in theory, but the one I received was far from fresh, so I ate a bite or two and threw the rest away. I'm all about that chili, anyway.

Spicy Firefly Chips

Solid spot at Disney if you're looking for a quick pretzel snack, super casual for quick pickup. My favorite thing here actually is the firefly chips - spicy frito chips, chili cheese and jalapenos make this the perfect go-to snack and at the price point pretty reasonable considering the price of other items in the park. Other things like hot dogs are also available here and chili bowls. Overall a good spot to go to with generally shorter lines but best if you order on the mobile app for quicker service.

Refreshment corner is tucked away in a corner of Main Street. It has a small take out area. There's only outdoor seating. I used the mobile app so that I didn't have to wait in line. I'm glad I did. The Mac n Cheese bowl was presented very well. They placed the top of bread in a way that looked like Mickey ears. Unfortunately, they didn't hollow out enough of the bread. There was hardly any Mac and Cheese in the bowl. But there was plenty of bread. The bread was fine but what a disappointment! Won't be getting this again.

Birria Baked Potato

Just had the Birria Baked Potato for a little over $13 dollars. Just happened to see this as we were leaving. Service was fast. Ambiance was crowded and busy. For themed park food this was not bad. 4 stars Birria Baked Potato. The only thing this is missing was the cheese which was all round the potato instead of on or inside. This was still good and had a lot of flavor. For the price and considering it's Disneyland this was pretty good.

The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience. Food: I had the sweet heat lemonade, Mickey Pretzel, and Spicy Firefly Chips this time but I have had the Chili Dog in the past. The food is above baseline for theme park offerings. I want to try the Birria Potato the next time I am here. Service: Disneyland cast member service is almost always top-notch and the cast did not disappoint. Ambiance: Disneyland's Main Street USA is a perfectly themed.

This refreshment center is the perfect place to grab a quick breakfast with coffee before starting your day at Disneyland park. I ordered the croissant egg and bacon sandwich with a hot regular coffee. It was a perfect quick meal before the start of our fun day! Service was nice and the shop was very clean and tidy.

I didn't eat breakfast so I was needing a quick snack but was disappointed with my experience here. I used the mobile app, which I guess wasn't necessary since the pretzel just gets grabbed from the warm case. I ordered the cream cheese filled pretzel and it tasted like nacho cheese filled, and there's no way it was cream cheese. I saw later that there is a jalapeño cheese pretzel on their menu, so maybe that's what she gave me. I don't remember it being spicy necessarily because I really don't do well with anything spicy so being given the wrong pretzel could have been problematic for me. Of course by the time I realized it, I was not nearby anymore and didn't want to walk back to the other side of the park.

Cinnamon Roll Pretzel

Disneyland park admission is required in order to dine here. This is a great location for if you're looking for something quick to mobile order because the time slots are usually pretty open. The cinnamon roll pretzel is by far my favorite pretzel in the parks. It has a sweet cream cheese filling on the outside, is covered in cinnamon sugar and has plenty of cream cheese icing on top. This is a perfect treat for cinnamon roll lovers.

The Embers con Queso was a hit with my kiddos. It's one of the cheapest snacks available in the park which was great, but you know that also means the portion is just as small. While it's literally just hot Cheetos covered in nacho cheese and topped with jalapeños, it was good. This is the type of snack you'd find off of an ice cream truck back in the day. I enjoyed it.

Home to Disney history - don't forget to check out the corner and the two-colored light bulb (included pictures). If you haven't heard the history, then check it out before you stop in to make your trip even more magical with the Disney details! It adds to the ambiance as it is an old-time themed location with coca-cola products for some retro cafe nostalgia. You can mobile order/pay at this location, so order ahead to skip the line! This is one of my favorite locations for a quick drink or snack as they often have great pretzel varieties.

Birria Potato

There's nothing better than Disney and great food. I heard they introduced a limited-time birria potato, and my first thought was that it was amazing. As a Magic Key holder, I got 15% off, but it still came out to over $12 with the discount. Totally worth it though!

Typical theme park quality food. The staff were nice though when I was trying to follow-up on my order.
