The fact that their prices are in the range of a fast-food joint is remarkable, given their vastly superior taste and quality. Me and the bro was looking for a quick bite before going home driving to Vegas. We googled places and this one came up. They are a legit convenient store, so at first I was not expecting too much on their food. But me being a Hamburger Connoisseur, I wanted to give every places that serves burger a shot. AND MAN, AM I BLOWN AWAY? All I can say is their Smoky Mushroom burger is one of the best mushroom burger I have ever had (and Ive tried many many places, literally half a globe). Visiting base and this little mart cafe was recommended for lunch. I was told not to judge on it's appearance. Service was efficient and food came out fast. Was hoping they had a Reuben that I was craving, but in its absence I settled on the Hot Pastrami with everything added. It was well worth the disappointment of no Reuben. Wow. My gf and I got the mamas special and hot pastrami, and they were both absolutely delicious. Super juicy and fresh and excellent portions. We also got the macaroni salad and it was THE BEST mac salad I've ever had. Super fresh and excellent taste. It was so good, I had to go back and buy another one. Moved into the neighborhood a year ago and this has become a gem to me. They literally have everything here and they have saved me quite a few times. Anything from corn oil to sour cream to charcoal/ small propane to fresh limes/lemons to soy sauce, I mean seriously they have it all. They even carry my favorite bottle of Don Julio 1942. First time here and I was craving a deli sandwich. I saw this spot on the road and decided to try. The cashier was wonderful and engaging. After she educated me on their sandwich menu I opted for the Gyro combo which included a beer. Amazingly they offer a Stella for a mere $2.50 which was unexpected. This is a conveniece/Liquor store. They seemed to have a good selection of various items. They make a pretty good sandwich. They were very friendly. I had the roast beef. Their special sauce recipe is a good change from the usual mayonnaise most places use. I tend to like a crispier crust on the sub roll. The bread had a pretty soft crust. This made it a little soggy towards the end. I will try a pastrami next time. Maybe a toasted roll will work out better. All in all, I would return since it was still pretty tasty. read more
