I love the price and good quality tools! It's great! I'm a rookie so expensive tools are not in my list..

I go with my hubby to Harbor Freight quite often. However we both have noticed the customer service here is lousy! The employees are super lazy if you ask if something is in still in stock. They wont go to the back and check. They just say well if its not there were out. Really? I've overheard employees talking bad about customers in front of other customers. Totally unprofessional- no matter where you work. Then god forbid if you forget your coupon book or ad. they wont let you use the one someone else has left behind. Or they say they don't have any extra coupons. But other HF locations have gone above and beyond when we occasionally forget ours. The people that work here just let off the impression that they are miserable. If that's the case you shouldn't be working in customer service. Straight up! read more

I took 2 stars off because my first experience was not so good. I bought a hook and pick set that was absolutely horrible, but it "looked" good in the store. It bent with light pressure, Item# 1816 I think. I immediately returned it for a hook and pick set for the same cheap price of $2.99. The new set was worth at least $10. It was fantastic, the set with the red aluminum handles. The other cheap set should not have been on the shelf at all. That's the point here. Harbor Freight has cheap prices, but their quality control is lacking. read more

Good store, I have been in a few stores around the area and this one was by far the most organized one. I purchased a generator during a sale they had outside in January, I purchased a warranty for it as well for around $30 and it covers me for 2 years I think. Note to people who buy tools, always buy a warranty. You never know when it is going to wear out because it is a tool you will be put under a lot of punishment. The guy ahead of me didn't buy one for a drill and I thought what a dummy, he will probably break it in about a year and be here again paying another $30 for a new one when he could have just got a new one of he had a warranty, owell you live and you learn. I like Harbor Freight they stand behind their product and so far I have had good experiences inside this location. Keep up the good work! read more

This store is good during the morning I've been in during the night and it's a mess and none of the employees seem to care. The morning when they open is probably when you will get the most help. As far as coupons go I understand their policy, they do not and are not supposed to keep coupons in store, I suggest joining their inside track they do adjust prices for the purple signs. Went to buy nails and an adhesive, I walked in and found the adhesive but when I asked for nails I was told that they were closing in 10 minutes repeatedly. Worst place ever. On my way to Home Depot instead! read more

Stopped in to pick up a few items and were pleasantly surprised at how open, organized and clean the store was. Not to mention, the two employees on site this morning were courteous, knowledgable and friendly. We will return to this location verses the other store located closer to home. read more

Utilize your coupons check your mail they send out coupons almost every week and they are good discounts! Staff is also very helpful

Great stuff good prices. Picked up a broom and rake. Service was good and it was a clean store

First, I wanted to return something with a receipt. However, the employee wanted my personal phone number for the transaction. Second, I mention that I didn't have to give my number to purchase said item. Her reply, "Sir, it's policy". Yet, right on the counter is the written policy and you only need a I.D. card to complete a return transaction. Which I had. The employee says, "I have had a rough day let me get the manager". Employees contempt for the my position is palpable. Third, I wasn't trying to give anyone a hard day, however, my personal data was recently breached and, I have become more private with my information as a result. Later, the manager has the same song and dance as the first employee. Talk about inept customer service. Note: Employees read store policies. Fourth, I realize that they are viewing me as a hostile customer so rather than make more of a scene I decide to leave. I left the item in front of the store as a free gift for someone. I really didn't care about the return--it was a minimal amount anyway. Fifth, is to highlight the disconnect from the manager, employee, and the consumer (me). A perfect of example of their business model--profits before people. Finally, Harbor Freight please hire people with a IQ of more than 75. Thanks for the cheap lesson on where not to buy tools. A brand new location, and a better one at that. Well let, a lot safer too. Even if it's a little bit safer, I'll take it. Well, this place is any handyman's dream come true. A one stop place for automotive tools, hand tools, air tools, workshop, metal work, welding and woodworking needs. Quality tools at low prices. Not everything here is top notch, but there are somethings here a lay person can't find at a Lowes or Home Depot. Really cool stuff here. I could literally spend hours in here. It's one of those places where you think you don't need to spend your hard earned money, but find something actually useful to buy. I've been in this situation many a times. Want to get some cheap LED solar powered lights and not pay an arm and a leg? Need an air compressor or a generator? Need to buy your pops a Christmas or Father's day gift? Affordable camping equipment? Need a complete set of torque wrenches? Want to get those electric tennis racket bug zappers? These are all reasons why I've shopped here. I have been here a few times. They're close to my house, generally friendly, clean enough, and I appreciate the email receipts (save time and paper). This afternoon, however, I was treated with such a detestable level of customer service from Michael that I will never be back. We walked up to ask him a question and without looking up or greeting us stated, "We will be closing in ten minutes". We said okay do you sell adhesive or wide head nails. He said "All we sell is nails for the airguns. We don't sell individual nails. Again...we'll be closing in 10 minutes." And walked off. Start off with the fact that the staff up front couldn't be bothered to stop their conversation about their co workers gambling problem to greet us and add the interaction with Michael then finish it with the fact that again no one bothered to pause their personal chatter to thank us for stopping in or tell us to have a good day and I think I'll drive a little further to Home Depot or Lowes. This visit was unacceptable and I will not be returning. read more

do not expect tools you buy here to perform well. the whole joint is a mixed bag of varying reliability & quality of product. some things are good - i still use a cart & a scale that i bought here. i also bought a chain hoist in an emergency that cost 50 bucks and worked fine for the hour that we needed it moving 1500 pounds of metal lathe - but i have no idea of the working life that the hoist finally had. tools break and they won't take them back sometimes. but even though this is like the swap meet of hardware stores, i obviously still shop there when i have to. "harbor freight" just means "caveat emptor" in some other language. read more

I was going to buy a surveillance system almost $300 i stood in line and asked for the system, the clerk had me show another employee which one i wanted, they brought it to the register and told me i had to stand in line AGAIN to purchase it!! I could not believe it! I had already stood in line once! I told them to keep the system and left, I will not shop there anymore! read more

on 3/2 I went with my husband to buy a tool, I paid for it, and by the time I was getting in my car; I opened the box; I was surprised to see, I had just bought a piece of trash; the item was all dusty; muddy, loose parts etc; I went right back inside the store to ask for my refund; Brandon the manager was called; he took about 10 min, and a rude manner he asked for my receipt; my ID my bank card; and he dissapeared, after 10 min, he just handed every thing back; I assumed he had given me my refund; I was about to get in the car when the security guy and him handed me the same box telling me I could not leave it in the store, I tought he had already given me my refund; he said; he could only give me an exchange; since I demanded to have my money back the security guard threaten me to take me out of the store; I asked Brandon what was he doing with my personal info and why I couldnt get my money back; but always the security guard came out to me very rude demanding for me to take my exchange and leave, not even letting me handle the situation with the manager. I ended up taking the exchange, I am very concern about my personal info being jeopardized and very upset about the way I was treated. The security guard made fun of me; telling me he was the only authority to dare to call the police; and in fact the police said it was a civil matter and couldnt help me. the security guard yelled out his name and company he works for; telling me to report him too, laughing asking me to leave or he would take me out. read more

the people are nice enough but it's understaffed. just opened a new pacific hydrostar pressure washer and the wheels came broken off due to defective plastic. not worth returning. will fix with epoxy but the china stuff there is poorly made. it took 15 minutes on a support line to be told they can't just send me the cheap plastic unit that broke. read more
