On Hesperian Avenue there is a Vista Paint I went in to get two gallons of paint for my bedroom, the young man was friendly enough but accidentally mixed 1 gallon with the quart mixture of paint after talking to his manager they decided to add three more quart mixtures to equal the 1 gallon that they mixed correctly the second time. Well of course after 5 hours of painting the two gallons did not match, and although it was a honest mistake, it cost me labor and frustration. Went back the next morning to discuss with the manager on that shift and he seemed incredulous to my claim, until he did a color test and low and behold it was not the same color. He begrudgingly did not want to replace both gallons but did replace the one gallon that was not correct, and with that I walked out no apologies know how can we make it right just the old here you go.

I purchased a dishwasher for a rental property…read moreand have given up and requested a refund after having my tenants wait two separate times for several hours only to be told they couldn't make it and needed to reschedule. My tenants took time away from work each time and I just couldn't bear it anymore so asked if I could just pick it up myself. They said no. It would have to be delivered to a Home Depot and then I could pick it up from there. The customer service then told me I would have to be present when the delivery is made to the Home Depot. This is when I asked for a refund. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Try to fool me again fahck you. I'm not going to wait another 7 hours while they keep changing the delivery time like they have already done two times now only to leave me hanging after 7 hours. Yes the dishwasher was on sale, but I will never receive an appliance delivery/install from Home Depot again ever. Gladly will pay more and shop somewhere else. Not worth the headache and grief to me or my tenants. Attached are the various updates from Home Depot. They may be out of order. But you can see them slide the delivery day from 11:30 to 7:30pm. What isn't shown is the text they sent at the end that says they were unable to deliver and will reschedule. Nope Home Depot. Not again. I'm not a fool. In the end, Home Depot needs to make sure these contractors they partner with aren't overbooked because it will impact their business. My tenants are pissed off that one of them has now taken not one but two days off work and fahcked with by Home Depot only to not have a dishwasher. I'm going to have to find a place other than HD with one in stock and install it myself. I don't care if it costs more. My sanity is worth more than the savings. Very frustrating.

I selected Felix because of the details of the quote that includes the prep work, paint used, number of coats applied and the warranty. They are also licensed and insured. That saves a lot of back and forth questions and answers between me and the contractor. Prep work & On time: Once I paid the deposit, the job was scheduled within 2 weeks (during Christmas/New Year season). The painters were polite and arrived on time. They are thorough with the prep work. The job was done in a bit over two days. Follow up: After the paint was done and final payment made, we noticed there were some touch up work needed. They provided update every day on when the painter could come and they came on time within couple days. Whereas I do have experience with other contractors when I could not find them for couple months to finish last 5% of the job. Headache free experience (project completed through text): They are impressive, reliable, the whole job was completed without a single phone call (only through text and online payment). Highly recommended if you want headache free painting experience.

They helped me understand the pros and cons of redwood, James Hardie, and radiata pine. I ultimately purchased redwood siding and Eddie helped me place an order for custom-milled wood that perfectly matches my original siding from 1950. The new siding looks fantastic and blends perfectly with my old siding. Eddie and Tony were also flexible and went out of their way to help me. I changed my mind at the last minute about the color of my Fiberon composite decking and they allowed me to change my order with no problem. They also made sure I got all the proper hardware from Fiberon, which was tricky. Overall, Dolan Lumber was invaluable for my whole house remodel.
