Reason for selecting Felix's painting: I got couple walls to paint in my house and I got quotes from multiple contractors. I selected Felix because of the details of the quote that includes the prep work, paint used, number of coats applied and the warranty. They are also licensed and insured. That saves a lot of back and forth questions and answers between me and the contractor. Prep work & On time: Once I paid the deposit, the job was scheduled within 2 weeks (during Christmas/New Year season). The painters were polite and arrived on time. They are thorough with the prep work. The job was done in a bit over two days. Follow up: After the paint was done and final payment made, we noticed there were some touch up work needed. They provided update every day on when the painter could come and they came on time within couple days. Whereas I do have experience with other contractors when I could not find them for couple months to finish last 5% of the job. Had the exterior of our house painted recently. We met with four paint contractors (and all seemed qualified) but I just had a feeling that Felix's Painting was on the same page as I. The final cost was just a tad more than the estimate but that was because they found one other spot of dry rot during their prep process. Felix's Painting company did an outstanding painting the interior of our home. We had almost every room painted, including doors, frames and baseboards, and we couldn't be happier with the work. The workers were very careful with all of our things and took pictures of where everything went so they could put it all back when the painting was finished. We were thrilled that we had very little work to do after they left. We added to the project by having them re-paint our bannister to correct the work that a previous company had done. I did not choose Felix's painting for my home project, it was chosen by my HoA for our townhouse complex. On the first day they were prepping for work in the morning and I asked them if my 2 plants on my porch needed to be moved and they assured me they we're fine where they were. After they started work this week I've come home to both of my plants being moved carelessly into my front yard and both were damaged by being moved. I would have moved them myself if I had known but they told me they were okay where they were. If you have any property you care about, you'll find a better value elsewhere. Edit: Posting a notice I've already read as a reply isn't terribly helpful. My plants were more than 3 feet from exterior walls, they were near pillars, which weren't mentioned specifically, which is why I made sure I was there on the first morning of work to clarify with the people doing the work whether they would need to be moved or not. read more

I was very pleased with the work Felix's team just completed at our home. The project involved two bathrooms, one very large, including trim, doors and a number of nooks and crannies. The two painters arrived on time, worked diligently through the day, were quiet and cleaned up, leaving everything (even beyond the new paint) looking better than when they arrived. The job was finished in two days at a price far below the nearest quote. After the 2 days of work, Juan came by for a quick walkthrough and in five minutes addressed my two final (and very minor) requests-- one of which was a nick I caused myself through a clumsy movement before the paint was completely dry. Whenever I see a lot of 5-star reviews, I am skeptical. But regarding Felix Painting, those reviews were warranted. We had our popcorn ceiling removed and the whole interior painted. From the bidding process, then the start of the job up until completion, Juan Felix and his crew did everything right. His bid was competitive and very detailed. In fact, it was the most detailed bid that I have ever received from a building contractor. Very little was left to chance. His crew was on time every day, were considerate of our property and cleaned up every evening after that day's work was done. During the work, I found extra jobs that were easy to add to the contract. The final results were beyond what we had hoped for. Lastly, communication with Juan Felix was excellent.
