RS painting just finished up and exterior painting project on our home. I could not be more pleased. They were on time for the estimate and the estimate was clear and through. The price, while not the absolute cheapest was far better than most of the other bids we received. The onsite crew was excellent, answered all my questions and quickly corrected the minor issues I noted. They did not nickle and dime at all and as a matter of fact did a couple of things that were not required of them. The job site was left clean and tidy. Called RS painting on Tuesday morning to inquire about painting my daughter's room in the home we just purchased, before we move in this Saturday. I wasn't expecting to find someone on such short notice, but Robert was so accommodating. He was able to meet me within a few hours of our conversation to give me a quote, quoted me less than 2 other painters I had inquired with, and was able to not only paint the room that SAME DAY, he did it within a few hours! Character is what you do when no one else is watching. This is what I found in RS Painting. They were actually painting my neighbors house, and cane by only to let me know they would be at my fence line. I found myself in a pickle that day as I was having carpet installed, and the person painting and putting in my baseboards had cancelled. RS workers Jose and Alex were kind enough to have Robert give be a call who graciously offered to help me out. It was not a big job, and certainly not in his Saturday plans I am sure. He came by a few hours later and knocked it out no problem. Out of all the baseboards in my house they look the best. When I do get my house repainted this will be my go to company! read more

I feel compelled to leave this review again - for some reason it keeps disappearing. I used RS Painting 4 times in 2020. The first time was to patch a small area of drywall in a bathroom and paint the rest of the room. The second time was to patch a HUGE area of drywall from a ceiling flood and retexture and paint the ceiling and walls. Then I had them come back out to paint all the kitchen cupboards because I decided to sell the place. Lastly, a few months later, they came out and painted the whole interior of my new place. I obviously had excellent service and responsiveness from the company. Robert was a dream to work with and I still refer him co-workers, friends, and family to this day. The team at RS Painting just finished up the exterior of my home in Pleasant Hill. Damn, it looks good. Rob came out and gave me an estimate which I compared to other companies. I accepted his quote and just had to wait for 4 days of good weather! He kept in touch via text and would let me know if his guys were going to be able to work on the house for about a month. It has been a very wet spring but finally the weather cleared. On Monday, they came and power washed the house. Tuesday was prep day- they scraped, sanded and did minor stucco repair-all included in the price. One of his foremen, Carlo, did the actual spraying . They finished up on Friday and we did a walk through. Carlo touched up a couple small spots and it was done. I can not recommend this company enough. We are going to use them this fall when we do some interior painting. read more

RS Painting is very responsive and was able to schedule our exterior painting project fairly quickly. They had it planned to complete before we went on vacation, including some dry rot repair. The process of the dry rot repair went very well and the painting started on time. Then they had a staffing issue one day that put them behind. After that, the whole project changed. The crew who finished our home after a couple days of rain seemed to have a totally different process. They didn't tape off the windows, they were messy, and got paint all over our newly installed windows and deck. They didn't even seem to know how to clean up when we pressed the issue with Robert, the owner. He had moved on to other projects and I assume his real crew had too. So you don't always get what you pay for. read more

These guys are awesome! We live out of state and had a rental property in Concord that needed painting. We got several quotes and theirs was right in the mid range - very fair price. Most impressive to us though was their honesty and great customer service and communication. For example, we thought we might have dry rot around our windows so Robert went out to give us a quote on that prior to painting and he took video to show us that fortunately it was not dry rot just peeling paint. RS Painting recently finished painting our home, and from the very beginning to completion, it was a fantastic experience! When we first met Robert, his suggestions were definitely appreciated, as his ideas and expertise where better than ours. the process of setting up a time for Robert to come take a look at your potential job was very pleasing. he shows up on time has a great personality and really takes pride in his work. I booked him to paint my kitchen cabinets a month in advance, During that time he continued to stay in touch via email to make sure everything was still set in stone and had everything. He and his workers were at my house on time every single time. They worked all day, and do phenomenal work. They want to make sure you are happy with the work. they refuse to leave unless your 100% satisfied and happy. heck, they even go above and beyond. They even asked to do other touch up around the near by area of their work to only make the kitchen look that much better. This was a disappointing experience for me. Robert provided an estimate and helped me pick colors, but that was the last I saw of him until it was time for him to be paid. He sent over some painters to do the job, but they weren't provided with the color scheme I liked which resulted in the wrong color on my house. Robert offered to re-paint the house, and he did, but so hastily that I can see the wrong color bleeding through the new. The whole job was a huge disappointment. read more
