Communication started off well, and an estimator came out to review the project. I was told I'd receive a quote shortly, but never heard back. I followed up after a few days and was told I'd have something by end of day, but nothing was sent. The team who worked on our house was led by Jesus and two team members, they were so accommodating, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. During this whole "covid lifestyle and business adjustment phase," it's been REALLY hard to find reliable contractors for our home at any capacity (ie: we had a tempered glass shower door randomly explode 3 months ago and were STILL waiting for the replacement glass ‍) But Diego and his team were totally on it. I messaged via Yelp and Diego responded quickly and came in at the best price to repaint our decent condition white pergola. Even when he dropped by on the "power washing day" to asses and check in on his crew (who were great by the way!), he realized the photos I sent in my quote request Yelp message didn't do the size of the pergola any justice. Even though estimates were similar, I was most impressed with Diego and Palacios Painting. The estimate included premium quality paint. The crew showed on time and spent two days prepping which is key to a good paint job. The finished project showed first class attention to detail which included replacing some of the trim boards and stucco repair. We had an exterior utility door replaced weeks after they finished and Diego sent painters back to finish the project. They started the job with power washing and they did it without leaving any trace, except the trace of a very clean exterior. Then they begin to make any repairs including filling in any cracks or holes before they started their paint job. When we moved into our home, the walls were orange, yellow, and beige. We knew right away we wanted to paint our walls white to keep it looking bright and modern. Diego was very thorough when he came out to quote the job. He helped us choose the right color and suggested ways to save money. We ended up choosing a white color that would not contrast too much with our current trim and one that could be painted walls to ceiling. We skipped over closets and doors as they were already in good condition. The job was completed within the estimated time frame and his pricing was very reasonable and hard to beat. Smaller companies were asking for at least 1k more while comparable companies were asking for nearly 5k more than what Diego charged us. Diego and his team are amazing. My wife and I were moving into a new house and we were having it remodeled and painted. Because they did such a great job with the house we were moving into, we had them repaint the entire house we were selling and we had 12 offers in 6 days and ended up selling the house for $200k more than asking. My wife had found a couple places to get quotes for painting the house we were remodeling and saw the Palacios Painting ad on Yelp. I was skeptical because the lack of reviews, but once I met Diego and he went through everything and gave me a fair quote, I decided to go with them.
