I am a new resident, trying to save money to fix a leaky faucet. (Plus I recently found out how…read moreslow yet pricey professional house calls are in the KRV.) So while i watched numerous YouTubes and got some condescending "help" from chain hardware employees in the area, my bathtub dribble grew into a stream. Not just wasteful but getting scary $$. I was desperate! So i tried Archie's to try to find the right kind of washer and tools. The guys on the floor sent me to Jill. She not only coached me and let me borrow tools, she CAME TO MY HOUSE and returned TWICE to swap out tools and the washers and fixed it herself. She knows her stuff and cheerfully gives it away! A 21st century miracle!!!! Please know that this is NOT a service you can demand at Archie's; Jill offers her skills at HER discretion - she told me that she likes to help out other women because she understands how tough it can be for gals in the DIY/home repair field. Nevertheless I am now on Team Jill and a loyal fan forever. And Archie's is pretty high on my list, too! Very community based, broad inventory and staffed at least one amazing woman who knows her stuff and is generous and compassionate to desperate dummies! Thank you!!

A bonus, we saw Peter Stormare from the Prisonbreak series in there getting some keys made. Totally a random place to see him too. Will definitely come back here should we need to.

This guy…read moreorder me a phone from Walmart and takes it apart putting a back on it he already had to convince me it was the phone I asked for. Mind you the back is not even connected to the phone. Why would you order me a phone then start taking it apart before it gets to me. I'm not understanding why it takes 5 weeks for a laptop. He doesn't call you to update you weeks go by then he says he just learned something he could of called and said. I have asked for my 165 dollars back and my laptop I will go to Walmart or something. Update!!! I left a review a few days went by I went to check on my laptop he never fixed it because he was upset about my review which is my right. And said he left a message which is a lie. But overall he had my laptop for 6 weeks didn't do anything and never even called to leave an update or say he wasn't going to fix it. The laptop is in worse condition. No telling what he did internally out of anger. Out off all the mess he responded to this review he could of just let me know longer wanted to do the job he was paid too Please do not go here

Walmart has completed what they call "The New Walmart," and honestly, the experience feels worse…read morethan ever. I didn't stop shopping at Walmart because of one bad trip, I stopped because the experience slowly became worse every single time I went. I've shopped at Walmart for years, so this review comes from long experience, and a noticeable decline over time. During the remodel they added thousands of new products, packed in more shelving, and narrowed the aisles to the point where two shopping carts can barely pass. Finding anything has become a frustrating scavenger hunt. Yes, they have an app -- but it's slow, inconsistent, and not much help when you're already standing in a crowded aisle. Product selection has also gotten worse. Items that used to come in small, medium, and large now often skip the medium size entirely. If that's what you need, you're simply out of luck. Quality control has also slipped badly. I regularly see bread on shelves past the pull date, loaves with partially open wrappers that are already dried out, and yogurt singles stuffed into cartons where only the outside package shows a date -- leaving you guessing how old the product inside actually is. The meat department has become especially disappointing. Cuts are loaded with gristle and fat, and the quality is far below what I expect from a major grocery retailer. The bakery is overloaded with products -- so much inventory that it's hard to believe everything can possibly stay fresh long enough to sell. Produce is another problem. Fruits and vegetables are often limp, bruised, or slimy. Carrots bend easily instead of snapping fresh. Bananas are frequently overripe. Grapes and berries often contain spoiled pieces that ruin the entire package. The final straw came this weekend. After spending more than two hours shopping with two full carts, we ended up with a very inexperienced cashier who stacked heavy canned goods on top of soft fruit and mixed raw meats with produce. Then everything was packed into thin paper bags that tear if they hold more than a few pounds. By the time we got home, several bags ripped open while unloading, scattering groceries everywhere -- including a broken jar of jelly. Delivery has been just as frustrating. Orders arrive on time -- but at the wrong house. Customer service told us to check with neighbors and retrieve the delivery ourselves. One time that meant hauling multiple heavy cases of water back home. The response we got was simply to remove the tip and end the call. Unfortunately, this has happened more than once. At this point, we've already stopped buying meat at Walmart, and we're close to ending our regular grocery shopping there altogether. The "New Walmart" may be their vision of improvement, but for us it has meant lower quality, more frustration, and a much worse shopping experience. What's disappointing is that none of these issues alone would have driven us away. It's the steady accumulation of small frustrations -- declining quality, harder shopping conditions, and weaker customer service -- that finally changed our habits. We didn't set out to stop shopping at Walmart; we simply realized one day that the experience no longer felt worth it.

For a Walmart Superstore it was not a terrible choice. The lady helped to find a bathing suit that…read morewould cover my fair skinned child's arms and stomach. She even directed me to the clearance suits that had the same coverage. Check out was also a breeze.

I did business successfully with the previous iteration at this location and continued when the new…read moreowner, Jonathan changed the name to United Ornamental supply so my comments apply solely to United. I recently purchased a gate control keypad from United to control a new access gate I was having constructed. When the company I hired to build and install the gate attempted to program the keypad, there was an internal malfunction that prevented it from functioning as designed. I returned to United and explained the problem to the friendly woman at the front counter. She took the defective keypad into a back room to have the owner, Jonathan examine it. She soon returned and said they would not repair or replace it as more than 10 days had passed since it was sold. I told her I would like to speak with the owner about this knowing that this person was not the decision maker. She went to get Jonathan and came back and said he wouldn't speak with me. So, I patiently waited until closing time, about 30 minutes or so while Jonathan was hiding in a back room. Jonathan was clearly avoiding contact with a customer who had in good faith purchased merchandise from him, but now needed their after-sale assistance. I ended up going to a competitor who rather than selling me a new keypad, took the defective one from United and quickly resolved the malfunction...at no charge to me. This is what United and Jonathan should have done in the first place. Two stars for the friendly and courteous front counter staffer who unfortunately was tasked with assisting a customer's problem while her boss hid in a back room earning zero stars.
