Today I had an issue with my car, and was unable to get the correct part to fix it in time to get my car home today. I walked over to here and told the employee what I was trying to fix, and how I was planning to do it. I wish I got his name, because he helped me find what I needed, gave me some different options and methods on how to fix my issue, and was overall very helpful. You can imagine that I wasnt in the best mood having to fix my car on the side of the road, but he definately helped make today less terrible. Honestly this is the vibe i get every time I come in here. The employees seem to actually enjoy helping, and seem to enjoy their jobs. You just dont get that everywhere, and for me it makes a big difference.

A used filthy disgusting toilet seat was sent to my 93 year ailing mother's house. Her aid was exposed to it while taking it out of box and had to inform her health agency of the incident. This was sent directly from the Selden store. When I spoke to manager Anna she just kept repeating that the box is sealed and photographed prior to leaving store and she has no idea how that could happen . Not only was that an insult she never once apologized ...she said only thing she could do is send another but I had to place an order again, but she went on to say it may not get there today. She also said that she would stay in contact with me an update me ....this call was at 11 am of course never hearing from her back the toilet seat was sent at 5pm that night leaving my mom 93 without her aid there to retrieve it from the driver. Not too bad. The store is easy to spot from the road. Ample parking. I pulled right up in front, and a young male employee greeted me immediately. I gave him my online receipt, and he told me he would have my package out in about ten minutes. As I waited, three other staff members courteously greeted me and ensured I was being helped. I also saw numerous customers receiving direct assistance from other employees. The staff goes above and beyond the call of duty, and all seemed to be quite proactive and hands on. In this day and age where many employees avoid customers and are highly unmotivated, the approach of the Lowe's staff was welcome and refreshing. Less than ten minutes later the original gentleman who retrieved my order had my package in my car and I was ready to head on my way. Cordial and super speedy service. Highly recommended. Now I order a $600 lawn mover, it's confirmed and then delayed because they said they didn't have an uber or lift driver who wanted the assignment. Really, who could blame them. It's a 100lb box that's 4x3. What driver wants that. And WHY are uber drivers being used rather than LOWES delivery. I ordered from Stoneybrook and they tell me I need to call Commack for information. Once again I cancelled and went to ACE HARDWARE for this one. 2 hours later I got it delivered. Try calling the store... good luck with that. Never a pick up other than the automated system. And this is in the last 3 weeks. I didn't mention that 3 years ago same thing happened with a washer and dryer stackable that was a 4k purchase. They failed to deliver it and canceled it.
