EVERYTHING... First an foremost. Nick the store manager is rude and an ineffective manager. They…read moremessed up my order to install 2 doors.. the day of the install the installer come with only one door because the order was written up wrong apparently... Then proceeded to tell me it would take three hours to install and instead took eight hours... Installed the wrong lock and when I informed him, he said this was the one they gave him (I picked out my own hardware and gave it to the staff in the store for when they set up the install.) eight hours to install a simple entrance door is incredible considering there were no real problems... The following Saturday they were supposed to come back and install the right lock once again. I waited from the window of 11 AM to 1 PM that they gave me we installer texted at 3 PM and said he stopped off at the store to pick up the correct lock and it wasn't there... That's two full days of sitting around waiting for them to do the right thing. The bottom line is I still have only one door with the wrong lock installed and then check the bill and which they charged me $650 to install a $325 Door... When I went to talk to store manager Nick about it... He gave me an attitude as if I was bothering him and said " well, I can't do anything about it. Here's the number of the installation company, call them" on top of that, the people on his staff have the same attitude because when I called to speak to him, they put me on hold and one of the staff there hung up on me before I even had a chance to address the problem... after I reminded Nick the store manager that the installation company worked for him and that he should be responsible for clearing this up with a $650 fee. He said he would call them in the morning and get back to me, but I should call them too. Well, I did call them, they took down my problem and unbelievably. Nick never called me... When I realized he wasn't going to call me on my way home from work at 5:30 PM. I called the store asked for him. They asked me for my name. I told them... They put me on a five minute hold came back and said he's working on a truck. He'll be a minute then they proceeded to put me back on hold for another 15 minutes and I hung up. He obviously wasn't coming to the phone... If you read the reviews on the Commack stores website, you'll see there is nothing but complaints basically about things that are similar to this... Very very poor customer service... Needless to say very disappointed in all of this and intend on getting compensated for my time sitting around wasting two whole days, waiting for them and getting charged twice the amount of the item I paid for it to have it installed when it was not laid out to me at the time of purchase... The management of this store is absolutely awful and should be changed

Where has this place been all my renovation life??!!…read more It's one thing to plan for a bathroom renovation, it''s another to find yourself having to do an unexpected renovation due to a major slab leak requiring a jack hammer that tears up your bathroom! After looking in all the usual places-Cancos, Old Country Tile, Porceda, Home Depot and Lowes, I could not locate anything that would match my current fixtures and wallpaper...and that didn't cost a fortune or look cheap. I found the Tile Shop after a google search and I am sooo glad I went. Beautiful showroom, great samples and reasonable prices. My salesman was very helpful, tracked down all the different items I needed and got it all delivered within a week. He even spoke to my contractor about some concerns since we were trying not to rip everything out of the bathroom and use some of the items we already had. I bought over the years, two of my favorite items: A hidden bar! Yep, the piece stands about 5 feet. When you push the door, it swings out to revel shelves where I stack my alcohols. I mean, you could also hide porn in this thing but heck, thats just gross. It also has doors on each side where I keep all my different bar glasses. My wife just sees the pleasing pattern, I know its where I keep the scotch. At my front door I have, I dunno, a front door table? It's small enough where we keep a plant and the mail. It has a small drawer where some kookie stuff lives like a screw driver, a flashlight and a pair of kids spiderman gloves. And of course, this piece is also hand painted.
