This location gladly helped me to exchange it for one that wasn't damaged, and allowed me to open the package to check it out before leaving. Service was quick and the woman who helped me was friendly. This location always has what I need even when the surrounding stores don't. I don't come frequently, but when I do I am always pleased with the store and the employees.

So when I have a chance I've been driving out east to tour what's in the book. This is the oldest operating family run hardware store on LI. My dad and I met Charlie who was one of the employees featured in the book and he let us take a picture with him for instagram. I bought a Stanley. I was trying so hard not to get one but I finally caved. They had 30 oz ones for $40. I don't know if that was a good price or not but I got a nice green one. I wanted to support the store and wasn't sure what else to get I looked around to see if I could get a Christmas gift for someone on my list but didn't really find anything. This is a nice store to visit worth checking out for the historical factor!

After I told him numerous times that I know that I got the right one for me, he goes on to tell me that he's sure he'll see me back in here because again, he's sure I didn't get the right one.
