Unfortunately, the screen door broke just a few months later and is still under warranty. I reported the issue immediately over two weeks ago, but I have yet to receive a direct call back from the millwork/warranty department. I've had to repeatedly follow up myself, often speaking with the salesperson who originally helped me, who has been kind but clearly stuck in the middle. I was told someone would contact me and even that an email chain with Andersen Corporation would be forwarded to me--but I never received anything. Instead of getting help from the store, I was told to contact the manufacturer myself. At this point, I've had to arrange and pay $150 out-of-pocket to fix a door that is still under warranty, simply because I have an upcoming gathering and need it working. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. When you make a large purchase, you expect support if something goes wrong--especially under warranty. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case here. I hope management addresses these communication and follow-up issues so other customers don't have the same experience.

To make the shopping experience even worse the local Harbor Freight sometimes plays rap music over the store speakers which I'm sure doesn't appeal to every one in the store. There have been multiple occasions when I've asked an employee where to find a product and they don't seem to know where things are in the store. This most recent visit I was looking for a magnified fluorescent light fixture that mounts to a tabletop. The person I asked pointed to a section and said that's where their all of their lighting is . I told him that's not where I found it last time and that I'd already looked there this time and it wasn't there. He ignored what I said and repeated that all of they're lighting Products are in that one section. I looked around the store some more and finally found the place where I had found it before- not in the lighting section. There was a tag for it on the Shelf but they were all sold out. At least I knew I wasn't crazy . And once again I knew that most of their employees are not interested in being helpful. Again I love Harbor Freights products and prices, but when you visit you're pretty much on your own.
