Two of the trees showed failing limbs almost immediately. We brought photos to the Stafford store and were told to fertilize--no improvement. We were then told to "wait until next spring." This spring, the same two trees are still struggling. We returned with photos and even performed the "scratch test" they demanded. The staff agreed the trees were in trouble but told us we had to call HQ. After multiple calls, voicemails, and being bounced around departments, we were finally told someone might get back to us in 7-15 days. We paid more at Meadows Farms expecting professionalism and a real warranty. Instead, we got delays, dismissiveness, and a warranty process designed to wear customers down. If I had it to do again, I would have gone to Home Depot or Lowe's--there, you simply bring the receipt back within a year and get a replacement. No hassle, no runaround. Meadows Farms wasted my time, treated us poorly, and did not stand behind their product. I cannot recommend them.

Customer Service: First of all, I reached out to them via email, and provided me a price sheet for all their materials, which was great. I could pick and choose what I wanted. Delivery fee of $135 to Fairfax, which was fair. I called with questions multiple times: -First time I got an extremely helpful person, she answered all of my questions, and gave me options and prices (I was afraid of having the large dump truck + 5 tons of stone breaking my driveway. Apparently they have a smaller hauler for up-to 5 tons). Options included loose rocks, or sacked. How much I wanted, etc. Was quoted a lower $100 delivery to Fairfax for the smaller truck, awesome, exactly what I needed anyways. -I called back again, spoke to a gentleman with poor English. He wasn't able to answer any of questions clearly... I decided to wait and call back later hoping for another rep. -Called a 3rd time, spoke to another representative. She was helpful, scheduled delivery for the next day. but the delivery fee went back up to $135, was told the previous rep made a mistake.... umn... ok... They called the day of the delivery, dropped the rocks off, the driver cleaned up some of the spillage, he did a great job. Payment: I did not like this, it does not feel secure. They asked me to email them my drivers license and a copy of my credit card. I understand why they did this, because they deliver first and then charge my CC.... but... email is not very secure, I would much rather have filled out an online payment and/or provided my CC over the phone. Now the product: The river rocks I ordered were extremely muddy. I had to wash them in my driveway, and then again once again when I placed them in the backyard. I expected SOME dirt, but these were CAKED in mud (i.e. no clean rocks in sight). This wasn't a "rain will wash these off" type of dirt... I've had other river rocks delivered (given, those were ordered by contractors), and those other companies were completely clean on delivery. These are filthy....

Just spent $250 there today all while being "helped" by an employee who looked like he wanted to murder us. Did the bare minimum from start to finish. Not friendly. Almost like he didn't care to make a sale. The store was also FILTHY! Dead spiders and flies everywhere. Bug traps visible all over the store. It was gross. Not sure we'll be back again.

I bought a whole new pint of that color and then she matched the precious paint can that only had about half left in it. My husband went today to get paint matched based on the cans sticker and came back home and it was not correct. He went back and brought the old paint can in person to match and he said there's no way he can match it. I think he's just lazy. I will be going back when he is not there so someone who actually wants to do their job can do it. Avoid him.

The selections were poor at best, every item except the flooring and shower tiles was either on back order or discontinued. Even the floor tile we did selected was discontinued, but we were able to secure enough for our project. The vanity we selected and ordered was delayed, so we had to look for another vendor. The new vendor vanity was delivered in less than a week. Eventually the vanity we originally ordered did come in, but not until our bathroom was complete. Lastly, the value was very reasonable, and the only complaint I had was availability of product. Next time we would wait until all my items were on site before beginning the renovation. That said, I would certainly use them again.

Two landscaping trucks came and went in the ten minutes I was there, so people seem to regularly do business here. Cons: Not sure where to park. There's a house that has a sign "Private Property" but no designated area to park. As I walked the grounds, a customer approached me first and asked what I was looking for. He pointed to the only other person there and told me that gentleman was the worker. The worker didn't acknowledge me until I approached him. He was friendly, but didn't speak enough English to understand my request. I attempted twice to explain. After walking in the direction that the worker sent me attempting to answer my question, I didn't find what I needed: a ground cover for a walkway. The selection of plants is minimal at best: only a few shrubs. So I do NOT recommend this place for plants AT ALL.
