    I went back to floor and decor in Woodbridge only because they had matching tile from my last purchase, and I needed more. I loaded the tile with no help while the employees laughed it up at the end of the aisle within view of this 140-pound, white haired 74 year old man. The cashier asked if anyone helped me, and I told her truthfully that nobody there ever did. Then I pointed to four employees playing with their phones and chatting. If I ran MY business this way, I expect I would be roasting squirrels under a bridge and standing at intersections with a cardboard sign. Way to manage a business whoever you are. Maybe you are one of those four people?

    Generally I enjoy my shopping experience here. The prices pretty much can't be beat when you compare to Lowes/home Depot/The Tile Shop but sometimes they have kinda basic designs rather than more interesting tile pieces. Other pluses include everything you need for a project- grout, tools, trim, etc and the staff are pretty helpful. I like that you can have a contractor pick up items (buy and they will reserve and your contractor can pick up) which is a huge convenience.

    Value for your money..!! We went there to buy tiles for our backsplash project and the staff was super friendly. We were helped by a young lady who helped us very patiently and also checked on the stocking of the tiles at the Alexandria location for us, since the Woodbridge location didn't have enough in stock. The cashiers and the overall staff helped answer all of our questions and greeted us and provided great customer service. They have a ton of selections for any project for tiles or flooring you can think of..!! Highly recommended!!

    A HUGE shout out to Gary D the flooring manager at the Potomac Mills Floor and Decor store. I had to get 8 boxes of LARGE FORMAT tile lickety split. It involved getting one of their cranes to get a fresh pallet down for my inspection. When working with these 4' × 2' tiles, some of the wild patterns don't work when doing a featured wall or floor. He was so patient and willing to help me with a wonderful attitude. He understood I had a tiling crew waiting for me 30 minutes away in Stafford. Thank you so much for understanding my urgency. I have had extremely bad experiences twice - once in 2016 and now in December 2025. In 2016, I was given a delivery window and they did not show. I allowed a two hour grace period because I lived in Fredericksburg and IYKYK. But at hour four, I started looking for ways to contact the vendor. Back then, you could call customer service and get them to call the vendor and have them call you. The vendor called and said delivery was attempted but they could not locate the residence and I did not answer when they called. Not true. If you ever have waited for something like a scheduled delivery or service call, YOU SIT BY YOUR PHONE, RIGHT??? No missed calls. I asked to speak to the driver who then said they would have left it out front, but it did not look like a good area. In front of what? If the could not find it, how would they know what the area looked like. I sent photos of my street to show the management my side of the argument- they should have been able to locate it. Especially since I described the location in detail in delivery instructions along with my phone number if they had questions. My delivery fee was not returned and I declined redelivery. I went to IKEA in three trips and 50 year old, 5ft , girly me with no coordination and even less upper body strength dragged in two dressers, a cabinet, two bookcases, and a desk. Fast forward (or not) to today. My delivery window was 8-12. At 1:30 I tracked the delivery through the app, but all it gave me was the time window. It did give me the option to text the driver. I chose the custom text option (you can choose to have the driver call you or send them a custom text) and texted them to please let me know when they'd be arriving. At 1:45, chose the call me option. At 2:00, I texted, "CONTACT ME BY 2:15 TO TELL ME WHEN YOU WILL BE HERE OR THE TIP THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN CUT IN HALF WILL BE ZERO!" At 2:30, I get a text saying, "Sorry for the delay. On my way." I asked "When?" Thirty minutes later he texts back between 4-5 - when I can't be home. So he will have to leave it outside the garage and I'll get to drag it in then unbox and move pieces in bit by bit. I understand that things run behind (thus the two hour buffer). But if you can't deliver until 4 or 5pm (It's the DC Metro area...Vaya con Dios) then DON'T SAY BETWEEN 8am-12pm. If you can, order online and go pick it up at the order pick up queue. Much less of a headache.

He arrived on time to our first appointment and listened to every part of the project. Leo then provided an accurate and easy to understand quote by his deadline. When the work began his crew arrived on time and Leo was there to introduce me to his team. He walked through and confirmed details with the onsite project manager. During the week, the project went really smooth. His project manager would let me know the progress of the project each day. They were open to our questions and adjustments. They also offered their opinions on where we should place or move lights, which paint to use, etc. Not only did Leo and his team finish the job on time, they did an excellent job. It is so nice to have our home feel like a home again!

He couldn't seem to figure out the correct size for the pull out shower door. Ordered and returned 3 times! Blaming me after the third try for ordering the incorrect size when I just relied on the measurements he provided! He wanted to order another shower door again but it seemed ridiculous at that point. I ended up hiring someone else and costing me more money to finish the project.

They had the material and manufactured onsite! We picked the countertop material that evening and scheduled the measurements for the next morning. No upselling, no production delays, etc.; the process was simple, fast, and straightforward. The counter materials were actual slabs of material in the warehouse, large enough for you to imagine what the finished product would look like in your house. End-to-end Granite Vision provided an excellent customer experience and final product! (Our remodel took place in September 2024)

Pricing Issue I was originally quoted $740.01 for a quartz vanity top I purchased from them. After final measurements were taken, the price unexpectedly increased to $895.00. We eventually agreed on $800.00, yet my card was still charged the full $895.00. Although the overcharge was later corrected, it was only after I noticed it and contacted them. This should not have required me to catch and resolve it myself. Product Installed Did Not Match the Sample The vanity top installed on January 16, 2026, was supposed to be Silestone Stellar Snow, consistent with the sample and a previous purchase. What was installed looks noticeably different: * Sample: White background with more prominent chips * Installed top: Beige/cream background with fewer chips This is not a subtle or normal variation. The difference is obvious, even when compared side by side with the white sink and toilet in the same lighting. I consulted with other professionals who agreed that the installed material appears significantly different from the sample and original product. Attempts to Resolve the Issue I reported the problem the same day as installation. Initially, I was told it was "just lighting." After I provided photos clearly showing the color difference, the representative acknowledged that it looked different but then attributed it to dye lot variations and stated they were not responsible per the contract. On January 22, 2026, I submitted a formal written request asking for a replacement that reasonably matches the sample. I made every effort to give the company the opportunity to correct the issue and simply do the right thing. Unfortunately, I never received a follow-up call or email. What has been most disappointing is not just the pricing confusion or the material discrepancy, but the lack of accountability and communication when I tried to resolve the situation fairly. The photos clearly show the difference between the sample (Silestone Stellar Snow) and the installed material.

First and foremost everyone with Before and After Home Improvement has a work ethic and it's a good one, no shabby shoddy work here. When Rick came to give me an estimate for the project he brought books that had the different colors and grades/levels of composite decking as well as a book with the different railing and baluster choices. Now I did have other estimates set up, however one did not show, and the other company was very nice but they emailed me the quote a few days later and told me they used Trex decking and that was it, no brochures or explaining the different options, nothing, made me wonder if I was supposed to do my own research. Rick explained the high and low end options and the differences in the type of boards Trex carries, which were also pictured in the brochure. If you are within a budget he will let you know what the pricing differences are, your best option, how long the product will last, warranties, ect. He takes the time to talk to you like you're a person and not just a customer in the assembly line. The gentlemen that came to do the work have a work ethic (getting harder to find in people nowadays), they showed up on time, didn't mind me asking questions here and there and wanted the installation to be and look the best. I highly recommend Rick and his company, he uses the same crews on all projects. Here are some before and after pictures.

    Disappointed to say the least, I paid for my furniture & scheduled it to get picked the the next…read moreday. After not even making it 5 steps out the store & trying to load it to our vehicle I noticed a HOLE at the bottom! It was not broken before but the fact that they even thought putting the furniture in a small plastic unsupported wheeler was fine? They kept dropping/tipping the furniture over resulting in it becoming more damaged. Honestly so frustrated since I really loved this furniture & now I can no longer have it. ZERO STARS!

Then all the endcaps are overloaded so when you pickup one item you're lucky if items don't fall off And it's hard to see what they even are selling when everything is rat packed. Then I went to checkout and the cashier was nice however: why are the pin pads not showing what the cashier is ringing up ? It's so shady then we were buying one clearance item and the tag was faded. Well the cashier asked the manager first help and I hear / see the manager take the tag off ( I guess the tag was for the wrong item ) so instead of her and the cashier communicating that they scanned it again full price. So when I saw that I said no I don't want it but she had scanned it twice anyway and only voided it once. So when I got the receipt handed to me I said you overcharged so she goes no I didn't you can double check. Sure enough I double check and she charged us for it so I had to go back to the register for a refund. Overall an annoying experience.
