Went to have sushi here. This was recommended by our tiki boat driver. Sushi is pricey, but expect high prices in Destin. I did start off with the fried green tomatoes. They were delicious. I didn't even want to share with my friends. I got the volcano roll. It came with warm crab salad on top. It looked small when it came to our table, but it was definitely filling. They do have a sushi bar. There's plenty of seating. We were told it was a 30 minute wait, but we were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter was very nice. They had sports on the TV. The back faces the water. I would return again.

Two rolls. One fell apart as we tried to pick it up. Just blah.

We went for sushi bc I saw tons of tiktok reviews on it raving. we started with miso soup and ugh. It was disgusting. Their sushi was just blah. It tasted like something I'd get ANYWHERE but the beach. The service sucked as well and we went when it wasn't busy. We ended up going to Zen later which is SO GOOD and fresh and great service. Maybe the seafood at Harbor Docks is worth 5 stars. Idk bc I've no desire to go back.

Blackened catch of the day (red snapper) with grits and asparagus. Hush puppies

My husband ordered the blackened catch of the day (red snapper) which was very tasty and came out quickly. I ordered sushi and it took so long for it to come out. On top of that, the sushi was just average. I really regretted ordering it and should've just ordered a hot dish. On the bright side, we got a table with a clear view of the Destin Harbor.

Tuna dip

The food was so good! The sushi was fresh and well made. The tuna dip appetizer was amazing, as well as the bread pudding. Everyone else in my group got seafood and loved it - especially the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp!

It's nice to sit on a covered deck while eating fresh fried shrimp. The service was good.

Came here for lunch and it was a nice place off the ocean. Our waiter Autumn was the best. She handled our group of 12 with ease. The gumbo got rave reviews. I ordered the spicy grouper club. The fish was seasoned well and the slaw on it was good, but it was just so much of it and it made the sandwich bread soggy and messy to eat. Staff was great and would recommend.

Best fried shrimp basket in the area. Welcoming staff and great tasing food. It was worth the wait standing in line. We will definitely visit each year when we come back. 3.5 if it was an option but I will help them out. The atmosphere on the water is amazing. The fish is fresh, we went the sushi route. The quality and presentation of the sushi and toppings are sub par. The appetizers are ok, nothing was incredible. The service was hit or miss we got our food and never saw anyone again till they brought a check.

Server explained menu options in detail (out of snapper at 730) and options were offered. Food excellent

Catch of the Day - Blackened sword fish, cheesy grits, and hush puppies

4.5/5 Experience: Harbor Docks has a great seaside view and great food. The tuna dip was really fun! The chips were on the thicker side and seasoned very well. The pickled veggies helped balance the tuna dip, making it very refreshing to enjoy! I'm not a huge fan of grits, but the cheese they added made it way tastier than others I've tried. The swordfish was a little zingy with a good peppery taste. And while the sushi portion was on the smaller side for the price and could have been wrapped a little better (bottom part opened upon picking it up), the zoo roll was very fresh and the flavors went well together! The only thing I'd skip were the hush puppies since they didn't have much going for it other than it being sweet fried dough (probably needs onions). I can't comment about food service times too much as we came on a holiday weekend, but the servers were really nice and fairly attentive. I recommend!

Surf and Turf

We were sat immediately which was great! We went on Thursday so it was $2 off sushi. The sushi was fantastic, I ordered the Crunchy Shrimp Roll. My husband got the surf and turf. He did feel like the crab over powered the shrimp. Service was a little on the slow side, we were there over 2 hours. Our waitress was Francesca. The other waitresses in the area visited their tables much more frequently than she did. But I still wouldn't call it bad service. The tables are very small so it's hard to fit all your food and drinks on the table. But it was a decent meal.

Catch of the day and surf & turf

This place is SO RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!!!! And that's coming from a Louisiana girl that is used to seasoning/salt overload and has very high expectations. They have something for everyone -- sushi, chicken, steak, fried seafood. The options are endless!! We had the tuna poke nachos appetizer -- literally the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life. The tuna was so fresh, wontons so crispy, sauce spicy and delicious. I had the surf & turf, 12/10. Steak cooked perfectly, very tender and flavorful. My boyfriend had the catch of the day (swordfish) and he loved it!! Our drinks were very strong and good. Our server was amazing, very personable and on top of it despite it being very busy!!! We also had an approximate wait of 20 minutes which turned out to be about 2. Looking back now, I'd wait hours if I had to!!! Overall 15/10 rating. I WILL be returning any time I'm in the area! Only complaint is how far away from home it is, ha! Thank you, Harbor Docks, for an amazing last night!!!

Do they have a happy hour?

Do they not have breakfast anymore?

They open at 11 AM for your breakfast.

What is the "least busy night", or does such a thing exist? I have a compromised immune system and am trying to find the best night to go where I will not have a long wait with lots of people since they do not take reservations.

I used to live in Florida and was spoiled with being able to go out for fresh seafood almost every week. After moving to Colorado, I definitely don't have that luxury anymore, so I was really looking forward to getting my seafood fix! This was also our first time really exploring this part of Florida and the Emerald Coast, so we wanted to find a good seafood spot while we were in Destin. We ordered the Beachfront Boil, which came with 1 lb of snow crab and 1 lb of Royal Red shrimp, and it was SO yummy! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and there was honestly so much food. The two of us couldn't even finish it all! Definitely come hungry if you're ordering one of the boils. Such a satisfying seafood meal and exactly what I was craving while back in Florida!

We ordered fried combo platter, shrimp 'n grits, house slaw and brussel sprouts for our main course. We also had the $5 margaritas for drinks and finished our meal with a delicious bread pudding. The portions are large so we walked away with enough food for at least one more meal for each of us. And lastly, shout out to Sugar Ray our server. He was very personable and took care of us very well! I highly recommend Brotula's for a casual dining experience with great food and excellent service!

Our waiter was super friendly and they were very accommodating with getting a car seat chair for our newborn so he could enjoy dinner with us. He was also very attentive, easily explained the menu to us, answered any questions we had, and was very prompt at helping us with anything we'd needed. The food was phenomenal, presented very well, and tasted amazing. We had ordered the red fish (special for the day) and ended up getting key lime pie for dessert and we were not disappointed one bit. This is a pricey restaurant, $50 +\- per person, but you definitely get your money's worth with what you get. Overall, this is a great restaurant to go to for celebrations, date nights, special occasions, or just for that fine dining feeling. There's no dress code, but I'd personally recommend wearing your Sundays best (I'd wore leggings and a T-shirt and just felt underdressed). The restaurant was very family friendly so I loved that aspect. Definitely will be coming back to try more items from the menu!

I got the Daily Special (which was a Red Snapper stuffed with crab) and was great. I also tried the Destin Snapper, the Crab Cakes, and some of the Seafood Gumbo. All of which were very good. The Daily Special was my favorite. We had a larger group and did not have to wait at 7:00. The setting was great. Outdoor seating is along a bay, a great spot to view the sun setting. It does get hot out there if you go too early, we were there in July. Parking is extremely limited and they do have valet ($9 as of 7/2026). The line for the valet was very long. We got lucky to find a parking spot, but plan on waiting for parking in one way or another.

Highly highly recommend the fried shrimp and hush puppies. Fries are standard frozen crinkle cuts, the tiny portion of slaw is dry and forgettable, and the tartar sauce is mayo that blinked at some pickle relish as they passed in the fridge. The star of course is the shrimp. Big butterflied lightly coated fried pieces of fresh heaven. They charge extra for using CC and they expect a tip. I'm not real partial to tipping if I order at the counter and sit at a dirty picnic table outside. I'm also ok with hitting no tip. Taking my money is part of a cashiers duties, they are not tipped employees in my opinion.
