Kapolei's Ka Makana Ali'i, Kaneohe at Windward Mall, Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki, and this one at Ala Moana Center. I really like their products and designs! They range from cute prints to Hawaiian inspired designs. The backpacks, tote bags, fanny packs, lanyards, purses, wallets, bucket hats, lunch bags, etc. are all useful, lightweight, strong, and practical. Service was very friendly and helpful. The female worker explained features of every interesting item. She was so knowledgeable about the beach cover-up/hoodie towel. The sand does stick to the fabric! The sides snap into place! There's a front pocket! This was the item in the window that drew me in... because of the Labubu print! LOL! It's very intriguing! I think I need a medium size... still thinking about it... CUTESY ACCESSORIES PIFA Vendor Booth (3.5 stars) Coming all the way from the 808-state, they were a vendor at PIFA in San Diego. They do have some cute things if you are into prints or foldable bags. BACKPACK KELLY SAKURA BLACK ($59 after tax $64) - One item really caught my eye. I am a sucker for slim backpacks that really hug the back and don't look so bulky. It was the backpack but this backpack in particular was slim and narrow and doesn't puff out. It is a foldable backpack and the material isn't too thin where it's not easily rip-able. I loved the print of black and pink. I'd prefer navy blue and pink but this will do. There were some other cute island print foldable bags such as pouches, fanny packs, totes, wallets, duffle bags, bigger backpacks, pickleball bags. and etc. But pricy but like the functionality. I just bought a bag a couple days ago at Ala Moana store 4/15/or 16, 2026. There is this old Japanese lady also works there too. She looks like she is the owner or so. Anyway it's because she speaks Japanese to the tourists. She is not very friendly and never smile. She makes the atmosphere in there very uncomfortable. The haole young girl was very sweet and she was very polite. I bought quite a few bags from this store. Just to let the people that own this store should get rid of her. She makes your store look bad and not polite at all. If you look at your videos and see what's going on, to see people how the reaction is going. I would give that place an F, cuz of her. I got something for a bestie who lives in a cold city and decided to gift her a scare and Magic Shawl which they have a super cute and vast choices in super cute prints. This shop is in the Hilton Hawaiian village shopping area. It's not a large shop but they had some nice accessories to choose from in a limited selection. The sales person was friendly and very helpful. There were a lot of handbags and hats. I found a cute pair of earrings for my granddaughter that she loved. I am not a Happy Wahine today. I left two, 2-star reviews today and both on Valentine's Day, so I need to undo the unhappiness and give Happy Wahine a 4-star Yay! I'm a fan rating. Why the Yay, I'm a fan rating? Because this place has the most amazing, girly, cutesy, flowery and all things that I like. I purchased a shell keychain for $18.00, which is exorbitant, but I just had to have it. I tried looking on Amazon.com if they had the item I wanted but they did not (who else does this besides me? I even do it in Wal-Mart!) I would have bought more stuff in the store but it was way out of my budget. I understand, this being Ala Moana and all. Clerk was nice and friendly. I decided at the last minute at the register that I could not keep an $18.00 keychain, because looking at that keychain would make me feel guilty that I spent $18.00 on a keychain, so I asked for a gift pouch (free) and I gave it away as a gift. read more

We were on the hunt for fluff balls to hang on our purses and to give as gifts and boy we were in luck! They had a special deal if you buy +3 fluff items from the rack you get 30% off! Happy Wahine Boutique is a locally owned and operated business that features unique yet functional women's handbags and accessories. They mainly use vinyl or vegan leather and coated canvas. The styles are geared for carrying comfort (lightweight) and convenience (accessibility). All of the styles work well for our island life. The handbags and accessories are stylish with Hawaiian motifs or contemporary laser cuts. Prices ranged from about $15 to $80, from what I saw. Very disappointing quality. I used this bag no more than 20 times over two years and the leather is peeling. I also bought a cross-body bag and within a few weeks, the strap separated from the bag. When I visited this store in Ala Moana a few weeks ago - I had a BAD SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! I just wanted to look in there for a bit - and the sales associates were ON MY BACK! They FOLLOWED ME CLOSELY throughout the whole time I was in there - like I was going to steal something!! She kept telling me about each product I *just glanced* at - and subtly trying to MAKE ME BUY IT! Geez - the stupid owners must give their employees GREAT COMMISSION if the associates are DESPERATE to make a sale!!! And/or the owners PRESSURE the sales associated to SELL, SELL, SELL!!! Either way - it was super ANNOYING! My friend said that also happened to her when she went into the Happy Wahine Ala Moana, too! Ugh! I didn't even think their purses/wallets were even that cute - really tacky prints and designs! I wonder who designs them? Whoever does has NO FASHION SENSE whatsoever! Yuck! I bought two wallets in this store the other day. The salesperson knew I was struggling with whether or not to buy one for my daughter. I decided to do so. The salesperson SHOULD HAVE told me AT THAT TIME that they didn't do refunds. She didn't. I tried to return one of the wallets today and she tells me then that they don't do refunds. She even points out that it says so on the receipt. The receipt I got AFTER I made my purchase. The kicker? If I'd ordered online, they would have refunded my purchase. Literally the worst customer service EVER. I walked in to see the backpacks that I saw through the window because I start school soon & not one was I greeted or asked if I needed help with anything. As soon as I was picking the backpack to purchase i decided not to because somewhere where I don't even get a hello does not deserve my money. My husband was in Waikiki for work and stopped by Ala Moana before heading to the airport to browse. I had been telling him I needed a new wallet and after stumbling across Happy Wahine, he ended up getting me a wallet/wrislet (also has a pocket for my phone with is a big plus) plus two nylon zippered bags (I use for makeup bags). I have been using them for over a month now and love them just as much as when I got them. The prints are very cute and colorful plus the material keeps them stain free so far. I was so excited to see that I can order online too with reasonable shipping prices, as I plan on ordering a carryon travel bag and and a small travel ID holder. Even with everyday use I have had no issues with the quality of the products yet (as some other reviewers had mentioned). The only reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is because my husband did comment several times that he wasn't able to look at a product without having 1 or 2 employees coming up to him and trying to sell him on it. I purchased 5 items from them on May 5th, 2018. Nancy the store manager helped me and was Awesome! She took my information for emails and sale info. On the store updates. 2 weeks ago I noticed the lining tearing away from a compartment I seldom use on the purse. I called the first week of Aug. Explaining what happened. I left all my information again because they could not find any information about me on there system. I never recieved a call. I stopped into the store 4 days later and again left all my information and a copy of my receipt, they wanted me to leave the purse and said the manager would call me the next day for a follow up, no call. Today I called this morning to find out the status, Mia knew about my purse, but not who I was nor had any response from her manager. Said the manager, Nancy, would call me back later! Happy Wahine let me just say you may want to work on your follow up and through! There are plenty of other places I xan spend $230.00 on a purse even in Hawaii and get something decent! I wandered into this store after my excited five year old noticed all of the colorful pieces, and wanted to take a quick look inside. I had been on the hunt for small Christmas treats for gals who work in my company, for weeks, and boom, the perfect gift was right there on a shelf. A genuine leather business card holder in an array of gorgeous colors, and sparkles, with an unbeatable price. When I mentioned that I would like to buy thirty of these amazing holders as gifts, the associate immediately rang up the owner, and asked if she could work out a deal for me. She got me a discount for my large purchase, and even ran to another location to pick up extras to help fulfill my order. This all took place in approximately an hour. She did all of the leg work for me, while my kiddo, and I finished up our holiday shopping all over the complex.
