I don't know if it was just because it was frozen and thawed or something went wrong with the cooking or maybe it was just raw, but the fat on the pork belly was extremely mushy and honestly had the texture of wax or something. It was truly disgusting and I ended up just having to spit it out. Would not come back here--unfortunately even Noodle Nine is far better than this.

The smell is overpowering. 80%-90% of taste is based on smell. All I could smell was industrial cleaner and could barely taste the food. When the bus person passed by me, the smell was even worse because of the cleaner soaked rag. He was spraying it straight out of the bottle so it was full strength, not diluted. I'm pretty sure if you read the instructions on any harsh chemical like that (I think this was ZEP, by the dark purple color), instructions are to dilute it and to rinse or wipe off with water. I've very sure they do neither here. You shouldn't be using any kind of smelly, harsh chemcial to clean tables in a restaurant. Quat santizer doesn't smell and is the standard practice. Whoever is selling ZEP in this area is making a killing apparently. (I can't dine in at Triumph Valley for the same reason). Harsh chemicals shouldn't be anywhere near food. Think about that when you rescue a wayward dumpling when it bounces onto the table. yuck. Having said that, I expected the beef noodles soup to be more flavorful. The broth was just okay, not as deeply flavored as I would've expected. And the meat was just barely tender enough, but not that impressive either. Fried spring rolls were very oily and the filling was severely overcooked. Complete mush. Not good. I wish I could say better things, but I barely finished half my meal because of the chemical smell. $14.99 for beef noodle soup is a good deal if you can actually taste it. $6.25 not a good deal for mushy, oily spring rolls.
