I came here gel mani. It was horrible! They charge $35 for gel mani.... I mean this is in GALLERIA MALL not BEVERLY HILLS. I just got gel nails painted no cuticle cut and it was $20. The receptionist (also supervisor for the place) took me to a lady to and told her specifically in Vietnamese to only paint and NOTHING more. I was more frustrated at her tone and the way she said it THREE TIMES. Of course, she had no idea that I understood what she was saying. The lady helping me just nodded and said ok but continue on filing and styling my nails. I can see how frustrated the supervisor was and she kept mumbling under her breath. I waited to see how my lady was going to proceed but the entire time she didn't talk to others - took her time filing and painting my nails. She did an OK job but I was more impressed on how she didn't listen to her supervisor, didn't speak to her workers and smiled the whole time while doing my nails. She answered questions I had and was sweet. I left and tipped my lady $10 for just painting - YES $10!! So I paid a total of $30 just for filing and painting. I was not impressed with the job but more so thankful that she provided good service and wasn't the typical Vietnamese worker who bashes on other people. I left thanking her in Vietnamese and wishing her well and her reaction was priceless. Especially the supervisor who gave me change she was much nicer and tried to talk to me but I gave her a very rude glare...She knew what she did was not right. I also made sure she saw that I tipped my lady... For all I know she would have taken that money for herself! Stay away from this place I didn't get my ladies name but I can hear all the others talking and this is a typical Vietnamese salon that will talk about you. Service is not good. Rude. read more

I had not so "happy" experiences at this establishment. For one, in 2019, no one should be requesting plastic lining for spa tubs, that should be an instant preparation process. There are too many susceptible bacterias lying about to take chances. Line those spa tubs. I had my daughter with me. She received a mani and pedi. The male nail tech who serviced my daughter's mani was very rough with handling her nails and her arms. In addition to that, he did a horrible job on her orange tips she requested. Otherwise, the women are friendly. My pedi & mani service was average, nothing extraordinary. I don't plan to return them. Horrible experience. I came in for a pedicure. The lady doing my pedi started off being rough right away. She was not trying to be gentle at all. I'm pretty good at tolerating pain but at one point I literally jumped and said "ouch". That's never happened before so that should say something. Next up, my experience has always been that whenever I have my jeans/sweats rolled up, the person doing my pedi rolls them down after prepping the feet. This lady attempted for a second and then said it was too hard, that it hurt her. I was so confused??? How are you working in a nail salon?? Seemed more like laziness to me. Then, once she was done, I told her I had sandals. Sandals that have a single strap that goes over the toes, no thong. My feet slide right in. She told me she couldn't put them on, I had to wait or wear those flimsy ones they give you. I've worn these sandals to other nail salons and I've never had an issue. My feet slide in with no toe/sandal contact! Just more laziness. But I was like whatever, fine. It became upsetting when she disappeared and I'd been sitting there for 30 minutes waiting with no sign of her returning. After that I just ripped off the separators from my toes myself, put my sandals on, with no problems, and walked out. She got no tip, and come to think of it, she probably purposely left me there waiting because when I signed my receipt I put $0 for the tip because I planned to give her a cash tip despite everything she'd done previously. I'm glad I didn't after all. Terrible, terrible never coming back again. read more

It came out thick and uneven. The lady who did my toes, she looked like she didnt know what she was doing. And the nail polish is messed up on my toe. I'm so upset I spend $75 here. Probably the worst manicure I've ever gotten. Got a fill for my acrylics and gel polish. At a quick glance the nails look fine other than my 3 nails that is bleeding. At further inspection all the nails are a different shape. Some have weird extra pieces that hide under the nail until I scratch. Both of my thumbs under the nail is ridged and looks so bad. I will not be returning to this location no matter how close it is to my house. read more

The staff here is very friendly and meticulous in their work. A fresh set of nail clippers is opened right in front of you, so you don't have to worry about infections. The salon is open until 9pm while most salons close at 7. Just keep in mind that a gel manicure cost $20 more than a basic manicure, so you will have to splurge or skip the pedicure. read more

Today I came into the happy nails location with an appointment to see nail technician (brenda) in the southbay galleria mall. Only to see her about to get started on a full set nail service when my appointment is in 7minutes. She's asked me to come back later. I explained to her how they always see me late 15 to 40 minutes after my original scheduled appointment. That today I could not wait. I asked her if someone else could see her since she had not started and I had an appointment in 7 minutes with her. She turned her face and just walked away with out a hint of anything. And with out saying a word to me she walked away. Worst human experience of my life. The receptionist didn't even acknowledge me after. I asked her if they were seriously not gonna see me. And she just stared at me and didn't say a word. I told her if I leave I would not ever be returning. With out a blink of her eye she said there was nothing she could do. They tell you one price over the phone.... then you walk in and see a different price on the brochure. Then when they start working on you they give u an even higher price. Horrible place staff is rude,condescending,ruined my nails,didn't do what I asked for.....I won't be going back.....Mindy did my facial it was ok I guess but I usually get better facials at other shops she rushed my facial....Brenda had a attitude the moment I sat down I asked her to soak my acrylics so that my real nails could be preserved....but Brenda drilled my nails with a drill paper thin she finally did It my way soaked my nails....by that time my nails were ruined I told her just cut them off because she ruined them she start yelling that she didn't I insisted she did.....she slammed all her equipment down screamed somebody else do your nail....I was upset not about the nails because they'll grow back but because she didn't listen to what I asked of her....but she didn't want to do a nail soak off in the first place she wanted to give me a fill to rush me on about my way....Mindy came & finished my manicure it was ok I guess....Helen did my pedicure she was cool she was very apologetic for her coworker Brenda's behavior.....Mindy also made me feel uncomfortable she kept commenting on my purse....it was a small Gucci bag she asked if it was Gucci I said yes she said let me see the inside I showed her but she didn't want to see how big my purse was she wanted to see if it was a real Gucci.....she asked me where i got the bag....yes my bag is real but her questions just irritated me....walked out of happy nails minus $142.00 + $10.00 tip I'll never go back read more

Horrible!!! Run for the hills no matter how bad you need a manicure or pedicure. Worst manicure ever. I only stopped because I had time to kill. When I saw how bad my manicure was going I changed it from a gel manicure to a regular manicure. The lady doing my nails was unhappy about that and gave me even worse service. She was super rough when she started they manicure and only got worse. She did not listen to a thing I said the entire time. I sat there and suffered through a bad mani and pedi knowing that I was going to have to go to another place immediately after to get my nails done right. WAY too expensive, BAD service. Maybe I should paid more attention that that place was almost empty when I got there. That is never the case at a nail salon on a weekend. If I could give negative stars, I would. No respect for their customers' time! My sister and I went in for pedicures on a Monday night with no reservations, so I understood that we may not be seen right away, but they got started on my sister right away so I sat in the chair next to her, soaked my feet in the bubbling, warmish water and prepared to wait a little bit. 30 minutes later, there are no bubbles, the water is cold, my feet are prunes, and I'm about ready to walk out when someone finally comes to help me. I should have walked out at that point, but I didn't want to be rude, silly me. So not only did I wait 30 minutes for a simple pedicure, but then my sister had to wait 30 minutes for me to finish as well. Unacceptable. They should have been upfront about the wait time. I most likely would not have waited if I had known the wait would be that long, and I guess that's the point. They cared more about getting our butts in those seats and getting our money than they had respect for us and our time. Add to that, the last time I was there the bottoms of my feet started peeling like crazy right after my visit, and another time they dug so deep into my sister's toe or cuticle or something she got an infection. Gross. I'm done with this place. I will never be returning. There are plenty of other salons out there that do better quality work and treat their customers with respect. read more
