Worst pedicure I've ever had. The youngest girl their did my pedicure and I am so disappointed. Not only did she fair to clean my nails all the way, but when it came to getting the dead skin off(the only reason I get my toes done at a salon) she didn't get anything off. There was one part she actually got some skin up and didn't get it off. I had to have one lady re-file my toe nails because she made them all with jagged edges in different directions. Then a man had to come cut off the skin she had left dangling from my heal. I will not be coming back. Even the polish looks sloppy. read more

I have been to all of the nail salons in Cedar Park and Happy Nails is by far the best place for a pedicure. I always get the best leg and foot massage in addition to a long lasting pedicure. I also love the way they wax my eyebrows perfectly. It is now under new ownership and is being remodeled to modernize the inside. They also offer coffee, mimosas and other drinks. I'm pleased with my: Shellac nails pedicure Eyebrow I'd been using a place in Round Rock exclusively since others disappointed. Well- this place compares!! Realize that I am speaking in terms of the run of the mill nail salon. This isn't an uptown spa & not what I'm basing 5 stars on. They had tons and tons of shellac color options. Also, the new "natural" SNS options which I don't know a lot about. Lots of people where here & I had the nerve to question two gals leaving about it before going in. They gave it 2 thumbs up. :-) Assuming my shellac doesn't peel in a few days I'm quite pleased. And it seemed cheap too. =$64 total. read more

I went here yesterday (Saturday) around 6:15. They close at 7. They did greet me warmly, but that's about the only thing they did right. I asked for a pedicure and a shellac French manicure. Two women were working on me at the same time. It was not a relaxing experience because they were talking to each other loudly the entire time. The young woman who was doing my pedicure skipped so many steps that you expect from a basic pedicure. She did not remove dead skin correctly, kept massaging my calves to the point they became sore (I had to ask her to move down to my feet which she did for literally about 5 seconds and moved on to polish), no hot towel, and when it came to applying polish, she left so much white area where the polish should go. I had to ask her to coat the tip, which she couldn't understand what I meant until the other woman had to explain to her. She didn't start from the bottom edge so my nails look like they've grown out already. My French manicure: She left me with jagged edges. She couldn't get the thickness of the white tip of my thumb to match up with the other nails (and I gave up after having to tell her twice with a smile - anything I requested was kindly with a smile - and feeling bad for even asking, when I shouldn't since I'm paying money for it, but they always have a way of making you feel shitty for telling them how to do their jobs correctly), the bed of several of my nails have tiny bubbles, and overall, I'm just so freaking disappointed. There was a man that came out from the back at the end of my walk-in appointment and he did not look nice at all. I hate feeling like they're talking crap about you in their language. Do they not realize how rude this is in this type of setting? I speak several languages myself, but I'd be much more mindful of how this can make others that don't speak my language feel. Anyway, I've gone to other places that are less expensive and do a much, much better job. Never going here again. Bottom line, I do not recommend this nail salon. read more

The Good: *We were greeted and seated promptly for our pedicures. *The man who gave me a pedicure did a really good job on my nails. *They have quality nail polishes - OPI and China Glaze *They end the pedicure with a hot wax which made our feet super soft. *Some of the nail techs (not mine) were really sweet. *I left with cheery red toenails and that made me really happy. The Bad: *This was the fastest pedicure I've ever received and it was also the most painful. I was flinching left and right and the pedicure guy didn't tone it down at all. *The water was lukewarm at best. *My sister was given a menu of pedi options but I was not. *We were not offered wine or even water, which is always disappointing (I did see a case of water when we were paying). So basically ... I'd understand the rushed, somewhat uncomfortable experience if it were busy (it wasn't) or the pedicures were less expensive than comparable places (they are not). My feet look really pretty and they are super soft so I am torn on the star part of my review. I could have dealt with the abrupt technician and a few minutes of pain for these pretty feet ... but in the end I don't feel like it can be a four star place if they don't even offer you a water. read more

My daughter and her friend went to Happy Nails yesterday (Friday, 9/13/19) in the evening (5:15-7:45) and got a mani/pedi. They were there for almost 3 hours while the other adults were tended to before them and definitely received better treatment. Both girls were charged $75 each ($150 total). The pictures attached show the multiple cuts that were made along their nail lines along with poorly manicured nails. This many cuts are inexcusable and pose a safety hazard. Plus their nails lacked luster... they were clumpy, bulgy and dull. When my daughter's father arrived, Happy Nails failed to provide an itemized receipt/statement for the charges. My daughter intended to pay with her own hard earned money, but could not afford the excessive charges. As longtime residents of this community, we instill a certain level of trust in our neighborhood businesses. We certainly prefer to give back to our neighborhood businesses on a daily basis. Due to the lack of responsible treatment and advantage taking of the girls we will no longer be using nor recommending Happy Nails. read more

My family has been going to this nail salon for years now. Thao and Shirley always take their time on your nails and pay attention to detail, I would recommend calling the day of and making an appointment with one of them as they are probably the most requested technicians. (be specific with the name of the technician you want) Sometimes even when you make an appointment you will have to wait 10-20 mins but I do not mind because I know one of the reasons they are so good is that they take their time. Thao is also SO great at doing eyebrows. They also charge very fair prices. read more

They didnt give my 63 yr old mother extra attention on her feet. She has cracked heals and when we left I looked at her feet and they looked the same to when we walked in! The ppl who did our pedi, seemed like they didn't care and didn't want to be there. The lady who painted my toes didn't even paint them all the way, she tried doing them too quickly and it showed. As always, when we entered the salon we were simply asked what service we needed. There isn't a sign in sheet or any other type of sign in method. I informed the lady who asked that my daughter wanted a mani/pedi and an eyebrow wax. I was told okay and my daughter was taken to the pedicure chairs - where she sat for 50 minutes with her feet soaking in water before someone finally started working on her feet. Also, there seemed to be a huge issue with both flies and gnats in the salon. The people working here are a sweet as can be and very welcoming. However, they really need a better method of keeping track of guests. Maybe hire more employees or if you're full let customers know either: (1) how long the wait will be; or (2) that they can schedule a time to come back if the wait is too long. read more

Le is great!! Went in for my first time this past week with my mom and my sister and had a pretty good experience. We all got manicures and pedicures. We walked right in, as there was no one else there when we got there. All of the pedicures were great. I got my first set of acrylics ever, and I love them. They are very pretty. I did it French style as well as my sister. My sister did not get acrylic though, just polish. Hers has chipped already though, I'd say within 2 days. My mom got acrylics and said that the filing job wasn't that great. She had to come home and file them to her liking herself. After 5years of consistent patronage for sns nails, pedicures and eye brows, I will unfortunately be finding another salon. Not because of the quality of the service. (Outstanding results each time.) But there has to be more to the experience after 5 years. Thao has exclusively done my brows and nails and still acts like she doesn't know me. I'm greeted with a blank look and the same question......"How can I help you"? No "Hello nice to see you", or "How have you been?" I've long accepted that she doesn't know or refuses to use my name even though I've made countless appointments with her over the years. The sad part is that I've watched her greet and say goodbye to many clients by name and with a friendly smile. Its hard not to take it personally. After asking countless questions to her about her life, family, trips, etc. in an attempt to sincerely make a connection, it has been unreciprocated. It's truly been a mystery to me and I just can't justify spending time and money any longer with a person who makes no more effort than that. The last time I went in I had made an appointment with Thao through the person who answered the phone. When I arrived and was greeted with the same "how may I help you", I said "I have an appointment with you at 2:00." She said "No. I guess you spoke to my friend. I can't right now I have Her at 2:00", as she pointed to a lady in a chair nearby. "Oh", I said" your friend took my name and number and said you'd call me if you could not take me at 2:00." Then she just repeated herself about not being able to do it. I hoped she would have suggested a later time. Maybe in an hour. maybe tomorrow. But did not offer any follow up. Just "NO sorry." It struck me not just as unfriendly but also exceptionally unprofessional. I'll hope to find a salon that values me as a client, not just the money I spend there. read more

So I've been coming here since I was a teenager ! I absolutely love this place ! However this past weekend really disappointed me. My normal nail people were not there when I went in early Saturday morning . A new lady did my nails . Let me tell you I wilL not be back to happy nails (unless my regular people are there). I hate my nails !! I've never said that before with happy nails . My nails have so much powder on them that they look like press on nails . The powder is covering my cuticles and the skin on the sides of my nails. She cut my three times (which I know can happen, but still) . They came out nothing likee the picture I showed her . They look so Bad that I went to another nail salon to get my lashes done and they offered to redo my nails . How embarrassing is that ?! Bottom line ... I did a pedicure with a design which came out great, but my favorite part of the pedicure was the hot wax. Oh how I have missed the hot wax. Went there today to get coffin matte black nails. And didn't get that. Most of my nails are miss shaped, crooked and not the same length. I've gone here about 3 times now and every time they've been super sweet because I'm super sensitive to the drills and I get a lil jumpy. However I just got them done again yesterday, I had to that broke off prior and one broke when she had to strip the color. The woman wasn't paying attention as she put two of the tips on crookedly and completely misshaped my pinky and on my right ring finger, the nail broke off a bit when she was stripping it, and she didn't replace it. I also have the services at Happy Nails where Helen worked there; Helen is my regular professional cosmetologist and has treated hundred of her clients in this area, including me. She did an excellence job and services as her career in personal services I ever known. All of the techs worked there for years, they do speaking English very well and they all doing great job as I can tell. Everyone please stop by these shops and see for yourself. I believed their shops usually packed with clients especially weekend, business day late afternoon rush hour and holidays, but I never waiting more than 10 mins...
