Great Experience! I had a formal event at the World Golf Village. I had to come 4 hours early to drop off some items and I did not want to drive back home (45 minute drive) and come back again. I found Happy Nail Bar just a few minutes from World Golf Village. I had a pediicure. I choose the $45 package. The nail technician was wonderful. I felt welcomed and everyone was so happy. I had also broke my nail to the point where I did not have enough nail to polish when I got a gel polish 4 days prior. I asked if he could polish it now. He said he could build up the nail. He matched my existing polish perfectly and matched the length of my other nail. read more

I'll caveat this review by saying 2 stars are because I've had a great manicure and dip/SNS by Henry in the past and I was kind of surprised to see bad reviews. So I guess if you can see him, you are probably in good shape! I never learned the name of the man who did my nails but it was bad enough that despite Henry's track record I'm never going back. It was painful, he kept twisting my hand around for better angles and kept squeezing my fingertips. The dip looks hideous. The nails are crooked - which I pointed out and he argued with me. The tips are not smooth at all and there are streaks and rough sections. He charged me $45 instead of $40 that is posted. Made it clear he wasn't happy with any chatter even with the woman next to me. I have an appointment this morning somewhere else to get these off. Finally it was clear he was pissed I did not tip. I really debated it and probably would have just for the sake of getting out of there but I couldn't get over the fact that it literally cracked my knuckles the way he grabbed them so no way. read more

So I was looking for a new nail spot and I decided to try this place and I was so happy I did!! Jade was the best nail tech I have ever had! She is new to the shop but is the best with a lot of experience. She did a phenomenal job on my pedicure taking her time and making sure I was okay with everything! She then did my gel manicure it has been a week now and they still look good, no chipping peeling or anything and that is the first time ever! Every other time I had gel manicures they wouldn't last more then 5 days! If your looking for a place to get your nails done I recommend Nail Bar and recommend The nail tech Jade!!! Wanting to try this place for awhile my Mom & I decided to go get our Pedi's today. I know we did not have an appt, but considering sign says walk ins welcomed we walked in. We were greeted promptly, signed in and was asked to go sit in chairs 2 & 3, at this point thinking we were going to be accommodated and have our Pedi done together - were we wrong!! The tech came and filled both our tubs with water, she placed the jet cover on mine & turned it on, my Mom just was just filled with water. After about 5mins of the tech working on my toes, I asked about jets for my Mom, we were told they tech doing that pedi would bring the cover, this is were you would think if it would be a wait we would be told - Nope! The tech continued working on mine the whole time my Mom was just soaking in luke warm water. This whole time there were 3 customers around us being offered & served wine. Once the polish that was being applied to my nails (Mom still sitting in cold still water) there was a convo between my tech & receptionist, I see receptionist look at her watch & say No. The tech was in the process of moving to my Mom. We asked if she had an upcoming appt, she said yes at 4:30, it was currently 4:20ish, but was told no problem. At that point we gathered our things & left, I already felt mine was rushed, and my Mom's was definitely going to be rushed. I guess maybe you will be treated different with appt or if you want more than basic pedi. 1 star because you have to. read more

I normally don't leave reviews but my experience here was awful. I went in for acrylics and the entire time I was getting them done the man doing them was hounding me to get something more expensive because "$30 isn't a lot of money for his time." It was embarrassing having to repeat several times in a room full of people I couldn't afford anything else. Then he proceeded to mess up my nails worse than I thought possible. He didn't ask me what length or shape I wanted, and when I tried to intervene he just continued doing whatever he wanted. He applied the power completely uneven and didn't even take the time to file it down. An hour later my pinky nail came completely off while I was driving. I can't speak for all the nail techs there, but given that experience maybe look elsewhere for acrylics. read more

Have been going for a year but after today won't be back. Echoing what others have said. Steven was extremely rude and rushed through the whole ordeal. My pedicure took 30 mins start to finish. No cuticle care until I asked. No massage. Paraffin wax was still dripping when he rinsed it off. Didn't get offered a list of pedis, and was upcharged for the $45 OPI pedi (basic is $30 or $35) without my consent. Got SNS also and my fingers have tons of cuts and nicks. I told him I was not happy, didn't appreciate being rushed and would be finding another nail salon. His whole demeanor changed after that - he tried to joke it off and it was just very uncomfortable. Place was good and clean. Staff was a little disappointing. I went in with 4 other people. They charge $35 for mani and pedi. We all decided to get pedis and then added on the mani. They just did polish change for the manis. Staff was nice but if you say mani and pedi then you should give mani and pedi not a pedi and polish change. read more

My mother and I each got a manicure and my mother also got a pedicure. Our nails look pretty good, so if that's all that matters to you and you don't care how you're treated then this place is just fine. The tech doing my manicure was pushy about other services after I told them "no" several times. They rolled their eyes at me and sighed- visibly annoyed with me. Rushed through my manicure and then approached my mother while she was finishing up her pedicure and talked her into getting a mani (not a big deal because she honestly did want one). Now there is no way they would have known this, except I told them twice! But my mother has had multiple surgeries and cannot ambulate well and is in pain daily. The tech grabbed my mother's hands and pulled her out of her chair to take her over to the mani station, we said something again about her being in pain and the tech stopped. After my mother's mani, the tech explained the charges and brought us the bill ($100). They stood over me while I filled in the tip line and told me that I wasn't tipping them enough ($26) because they did two manicures and they would have to split it with the tech that did my mother's pedi. I was firm that $13 was for each of them. They made it apparent that they were upset and started yelling in their native language, it was uncomfortable. There's a real possibility that I'm being overly sensitive to everything, but I feel a 26% tip was fair. Daughter and I did pedicures, they chatted the whole time and didn't even watch what they were doing (why not just go buy a machine because everything was so automated). While they were chatting away she cut my toe and it's now infected and twice the size it normally is. This place is so nice! We made an appointment for 9am and we were right on time and they had all employees there on time ready for us! Their employees were enthusiastic and in a great mood! It made for a very pleasant experience! Upon walking in it seems a bit more luxurious than your average nail spa! Their decor and chairs and stations for nails are an upgrade compared to most! Their chairs have a great message options and the pedicure I received was one of the best I've had in awhile! She did the best message with the sugar scrub and then a great hot stone massage! My feet felt amazing and I had just ran that morning before so it felt so good! They also did a full set gel nails for my manicure while I was getting my pedicure done and it was very nice! My nails look great! I will definitely be returning! And if you live in the Murabella area you should definitely give this new place a try! You will be glad you did! I brought my 80 year old mom, who suffers from severe arthritis in her hands and feet, to this location and after reluctantly agreeing, the employees were rude and incredibly disrespectful. They were very obviously making fun of her ailments and did the absolute minimum service. The owner came out to apologize and the employees even had the nerve to ask what they were apologizing for. I have been here many times before and usually have ok service and great nails. The last time I went the technician made a comment about my own interest in learning about being a nail technician, "Black people better at hair, you do hair instead" then went on to tell me about the black woman she knew who did nails that did good work but was slow. EVEN this I am willing to ignore if my nails look amazing. Unfortunately my gel nails chipped in the first 2 weeks and she charged me 50 dollars for my short nails instead of the 45 advertised. If I could give Happy Nails Bar a 10 star rating, I would. This was literally the BEST pedicure I've ever had in my whole life. My best friend and I went here last Friday for my birthday as walk-ins. We were quickly greeted, told to sign in and pick out our polish. There was a wide array of colors available. We were immediately taken back and seated. We were offered a drink- since it was before lunch, we chose water, but they also had soda and wine available. The nail salon was very pretty and, more importantly, very clean- there were liners in the foot basins/sinks, the tools were clearly autoclaved and the techs wore gloves. The massage chairs are really nice- lots of options and you could change the location, style and intensity of the massage. The nail salon has multiple pedicure options. We initially were going to select the OPI pedicure. The techs ensured that we saw the options inside the menu as well, which included a natural pedicure, which was the same price ($45) and involved a similar process but had ingredients that were more natural and had less fragrance. Given that my best friend and I both have allergies, we opted for the natural pedicure. Both technicians were incredibly careful and thorough with the cleaning, buffing, treatments, massage and polish. I have eczema on my feet and requested that my tech not use the grater thingie. I had zero pain or discomfort. The experience was 100% pleasant. I loved the paraffin wax wrap and hot stones, which I hadn't had before. My feet feel amazing- it's the best they've been in literally years. I will definitely return to Happy Nails Bar. I've never been treated so poorly. I went in today to get a full set and a pedi, and my mother got a mani. The gentleman doing my nails was so short and rude to me the entire time. I had a couple of nails that I wanted shaped a little bit more. I asked very nicely and pleasantly to have them rounded a bit, and to fix the one that he attached crookedly. I wanted my nails to look very natural, as I'm preparing for my wedding tomorrow. He threw the emery board at me and stomped away, saying, "Do it yourself." I was in shock. Save your money, go anywhere else! After giving this place a few chances this last visit was my last. I usually do my own nails, so when I go out it's a splurge for me. At Christmas I went in for a sns mani and came home with a disaster. Steven, whom I could not understand one of did my nails then. Fast forward to this week, I go in for a pedi. I was the first and only person in there until the last 5 minutes of my "service". I unfortunately had to get Steven again because there was no other choice. He right off the bat offered me the most expensive, giving me no other option for anything else. I finally settled on something. By the end of my time there, I did feel a little less stressed because of the foot rub but when I actually looked at the work that had been done I was furious. The color was not even. Worst service I have ever had!! I ask for a specific design that had multiple colors and the man got mad! And said I had to pick 1 color! So he got up and decided he was not going to do my nail because I asked why if I wanted different colors! Im paying its not a free service! So then I decided a simpler color with glitter.Then I went to another lady and she had beautiful nails and I asked about hers if I can have the same and then she asked and the owner said no because she already picked her colors!!! Like really they had not even started with the colors! So I decided to forget about it and go on with my color! Then I asked her if she can just add the glitter on my tips and she said no! My Google Review: I had a good experience about a month ago when I went in for a manicure with my Mom. Steven was the technician who helped me that time. He not only did an awesome job on my nails but his customer service skills were excellent. Therefore, I went back today for a manicure and pedicure. My experience was completely different unfortunately. The pedicure technician was nice but inattentive. She left me several times throughout the process, making it take longer than needed. She also did not apologize when she hurt me while trimming my nails. The manicure technician was unprofessional, loud, and rude from the moment she greeted me. I felt like she was rushing me. She made comments about my nails throughout the process that were not good or helpful. I was quiet after each rude comment until I finally told her, "that's the reason why I am here," to which she replied, "You got me there." She may have been having a bad day - it was definitely busy and she mentioned they were short-staffed. I was patient though, waited my turn and am a paying customer. I even tipped after all of that because I know technicians work hard. However, I will not return for fear of having her do my nails again. I wish I had taken her name because maybe feedback would help. My experience was far from peaceful and borderline embarrassing because of her comments from beginning to end. read more

First experience at the salon. Everyone was very nice and I was able to get in without an appt. I chose the deluxe pedicure for $35. I only had 45 min to get my pedicure. The atmosphere is lovely and my pedicurist was very friendly. I was able to relax without being asked a million questions. My only complaint was that I did not receive the deluxe pedicure. We ran out of time and only got the basic. I was charged for the deluxe and told to let them know the next time I came that I didn't receive the hot stone and I would only pay for the basic. WE have a few choices for nails in our area and I took a risk. I should of only paid for what I received. Not the best experience. read more

I really wanted to like this place as I drive way to far to get a pedicure done....On a positive note and why I will give it 2 stars..the salon was clean and well maintained. The bad side.. I just wanted a pedicure and was pushed into services that I really didn't have time for so paid for an experience that was done way to quickly. But the worse part is I had to ask for my nail beds to be cleaned out..if I'm getting a pedicure I don't think I should point out that you need to clean under my nails. The base coat wasn't drying quick enough so it was wiped off which has caused the nail polished to look textured vs. smooth and shinny. There was nail polish and clear coat on the sides of my toes which should have been cleaned off..I shouldn't have to use nail polish remover to get the extra off my toes because of a rush job. It's sad because this could have been my new nail salon..unfortunately I will not be returning. read more
