Th e massage chair is so great! My tech today was The Anh Chau. He uses a modified piece that your ankle sits in so he doesn't have to bend over so much and it helps me because he can really see what needs to be done on the bottom of one's feet way easier. If I could give it zero stars I would the staff was nice but did an absolutely horrific job they weren't even all the same length or shape I left the salon crying I didn't even want to pay and still don't know why I did. Wish I went back for a refund. I had to go to a different salon right after to get them fixed and they said the fill was thirty turns out it was $45 for the worst acrylic job I've seen in my life. Overall not a good experience, I picked this place based on the good Yelp reviews and I was completely disappointed. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. The gentlemen who did my nails mismatched my toes and fingers so they do not match. The entire experience was completely rushed, and overall not clean. No paper towels down on top of the manicure station, he used a cuticle clipper he borrowed from the women next to him to clip my cuticles, so it was not sanitized. He also only did two coats for my gel manicure, every other place I've gone to uses 3 coats. I'm exactly one week out from when I got my gel manicure and multiple nails have chipped. I go to this salon as it is right down the road from where I live. However, every time I go I always regret it. I asked for a manicure and gel Polish. I was not please with the manicure as my cuticles did not look clean and still look cracked. After just 4 days my nails and the Polish are cracking. I have been to this salon a few times to give them chance after chance and thinking maybe a different person will do a better job but it's apparent that their goal is to rush to get to the next customer. Gentleman that did my pedicure was friendly kind and did a great job. The lady that did my manicure seems to be angry with me because I didn't want to gel. She was rude and basically manhandled me. During the whole process I felt like I was bothering her and she didn't want me there. I didn't get the gel because I had a budget and I did not want to cheat them on a good tip. So in the end, I still tipped well, but I made sure the gentleman definitely got majority of the tip. If I return, I will be only to get a pedicure with him, and never again with her. read more

While visiting St Augustine, for a family wedding. My lovely aunties and I happened upon Ruby Nails. There were four of us all in dire need of a mani pedi- it was fairly busy for a Thursday afternoon, but we called a few minutes ahead and they were ready and happy to take us. The service at Ruby's was exceptional, we were even offered refreshments while we were pampered. We shared laughs and staff even gave us suggestions in places to eat and visit while in the area. I haven't written a review in months, but I had such a great experience here that I had to share. I was looking for a nail salon closer to my new home and found this cute, clean salon with free wifi, wine, soda, and water for its guests. I started with a manicure with Amy, who was great. She was super detail-oriented and my nails look wonderful. She then let me know that pedicures are 20% off through the end of the month, and I had the time, so I decided to go ahead and do that, too. I could either have 20% off a classic pedicure, or get the deluxe pedicure for the price of the classic, and I went with the latter for some extra TLC (and was not disappointed)! You get to choose your scent for lotion and scrub - I chose citrus - and she really went above and beyond to treat my feet and legs before she even started painting my nails. It was really relaxing. The prices are reasonable, too: I got a classic manicure and a deluxe pedicure for $40 (before tip). I'll definitely be back for future mani/pedi needs! read more
