I'm puzzled as to why there's so many low star reviews for this salon as my pedi experience today was excellent. My piggies were treated with great care and are very happy. I also needed a simple nail trim / file without manicure and Tina did a perfect job making them all even and square for me again. I received no added pressure to upgrade the services, got exactly what I wanted and will definitely be coming back again. Additional note: It's best to call in advance to schedule an appointment and they are only closed on Sunday. read more

Worst "manicure" ever. They have several signs advertising a hybrid gel service called "T.A.P" so I opted for this rather than a gel polish. I assumed that they were good at doing this service because they have a banner hanging on the wall and several card board photos posted on the shelf with different colors of the gel. She did not trim my cuticles but rather just put the gel over them. The gel is on my skin and you cannot see the distinction of where my bal meets my skin on my fingers. I came here with a friend since this is close to her house and I will never come back again. read more

First time customer. Place was clean, staff was friendly and pedicure looks great! I called and got right in. Definitely will be back.

I went there the other day and got a pedicure. They were very professional, nice and fast and my pedicure was so relaxing and perfect. They did a great job and my nails look wonderful! read more

i had powder dip. I highly suggest not having this done here! Even though, they did fix the problems twice without charge, still I would not recommend. I would leave a one star rating, but because I wasn't charged for the fix, I'll give 2 stars read more

Happy Nails in A1A North Publix shopping center. Tina, Alex, Linda, Chrissy, Tom and now Julie. They are so good. They do care about you so they treat your appointments with care. I love my Tina. I told her one time to really get into my toes that are ingrown. Boy, she went to town like a mad lady digging in with great pleasure ‍ I just tell people that she's a sadist and she just smiles ‍ Then there's Alex. We are sooo happy she came back. She is such a professional. Your nails will never look better anywhere else. ‍She also has a great following. I really like all the rest of the team, but I prefer my two super stars Oh wait, forget what I said. Choose the others on the team If you go to my two then, I'll never get in they do take walk-ins all the time. Especially when she has a lot of employees. Sometimes one or two go on a vacation for 2-3 t months, so check with themif you want someone special *They also get A LOT of snowbirds Especially when they are about to go home. Their prices are extremely priced below a lot of places. My pedicure was only ($30.shh) even though she spends so much time on me digging out those darn ingrowns I give her a large tip because the price is low. YES, they have a full menu of their prices. $-$$ I walk past the ladies getting manicures, their nails look so beautiful. I just get a simple no frills manicure because mine are too soft and, YES, I bite them and if course they are always in water I don't cook ‍but I do clean oh, where was I? Well, they are located at the Publix shopping center on A1A North Ormond by the Sea going towards Flagler. I'm sure you will be delighted read more

Best Pedicure in Ormond Beach!! Staff are friendly, atmosphere is nice! Budget friendly

SIDE NOTE: I am local - not San Fran. I am fairly certain I have never given a one star review for any services, but after the poor care given my daughter and her friend - topped with incredibly rude responses from two of the staff - I feel compelled to speak my peace. My daughter and a friend went in for french tips (one white and the other IG inspo green with designs). they were both disappointed, but felt uneasy with the staff after being told by these women that they didn't ask for nail trimming and caused the bleeding. YES - they were both bleeding. One nail tech said my daughter's friend went to the bathroom and ripped open her own cuticle just to complain. The same woman refused to take my payment (for sub par services) because she couldn't hold it and needed to pee, telling me that I could wait. They offered us a $5 discount on each set - yay - which decreased my cost to $100 for poorly executed tips in full white and likewise for the designs on the other set (at least the latter had relatively decent nails - just too long). After having one of these women just short of yell at us, and the other do little to rectify the issue, I paid and left. I paid a different tech who offered to take my money while the other one was busy peeing. Side note! Since they don't take Apply Pay I asked to go get a card from my vehicle and offered to leave my phone behind as "collateral" to which the rude tech - not the one who actually checked me out - responded, "good!" Why did I pay for this ridiculous experience? Because they AT NO POINT offered me anything other than a $5 discount and I really didn't feel like dealing with the authorities in the middle of the day while attempting to treat these two girls to a nail day. Also, I frequent this Publix area and don't want to deal with this place trying to mar me as a customer. I will never go back and I hope to find a reputable nail salon in Ormond-by-the-Sea that will hopefully fix these girls up without ripping me off. read more

Wasn't quite sure about this place due to mixed reviews. Alex did my nails and she was personable and efficient. But I couldn't get her to move to Ohio. I called and got an appt. They do take walk-ins but it is chancy. They are popular from the looks of it! read more

Was there as a party of three for manis and jelly pedis. Soaked my feet for less than 5 minutes. The owner who worked on me was rough and kept nipping me I finally went to the table for manicure and was treated like I was a not worthy of their service. We walked out of the appt and I ended up going back because my nails were lumpy, and Looked like pure garbage. I got her daughter the second time and she wouldn't even speak to me. Four hours later and my nails were terrible. Worst and most expensive service I've ever had. Will not ever go back and will not ever encourage anyone I know to waste their time or money! read more

I had a wonderful time here with my sister! We both got a mani/pedi and will be coming back next time. Out of all the nail salons I've been to, Christy was the best nail tech I've ever had. She's extremely personable and did exactly what I asked for. read more

Beware, there is a $10 minimum for card services. I know this review may not be needed as most spend more than $10 at a nail salon. However, I called to get my nail repaired and was told it was $6 dollars. It was not mentioned to me that there was a $10 minimum on a card until I showed up and paid. Therefor, I was charged $10 due to the card minimum due to not having cash. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I'm pretty disappointed right now. I went here because I live close by. I've gotten quick manis before here and they were never awful but never great. I got a pedicure and a dip manicure. First off, they work so quickly the quality is low. They cut my heel so hard during the pedicure it hurts to stand. My dip manicure looks like a 5 year old did it, she didn't trim my cuticles or even even out the nails nor give them any shape. I never even got lotion put on me. The girl next to me had her nails soaking in acetone for like a half hour- I think next time, I'll drive a few minutes out of the way to get something quality. The bright side is I was done with both in less than an hour, $60 later.. read more

First of all the Salon us very clean and covid precautions are very evident. They take your temp as you walk in..then have you wash you hands. Chairs are separates with plexiglass screens. Everyone is masked. I get basic mani and pedi . Prices are reasonable and the job is thorough. I usually just walk in and today with 4 people working I was taken immediately. No favorites..they are all good. read more

Despite the bad reviews of this place, I have had a good experience the couple times I have been here. I came in yesterday to get a pedicure + gel manicure. For both it was $45 which is about what most salons charge anyways so it was a fair price. The girl I had did not rush through my pedicure or manicure like some do. Although I was the only one in the place, I really appreciated the extra scrub she gave to my feet, and she even did a nice job removing the dead skin and callous from feet without any additional charge. Most places won't even spend the time scrubbing your feet unless you pay for the callous remover. I wish I knew the girl's name who did both my toes and nails, but I will definitely be looking for her again next time I come. The owner and staff were all really nice too. The place is very clean, and they have a lot of colors to choose from. Thank you Happy Nails for the great experience! read more

I think the owner did my pedicure, she talked about how many years the place had been there. I left with my feet bleeding from how short she cut my toenails and the cheese grater that she used on my feet. She didn't use a base coat or top coat. It was awful! read more

Immaculately clean salon. The pedicures are so good and relaxing that I can hardly stay awake. My manicures (basic non gel) last forever. This is a good salon, very clean. Good services . Polite friendly staff. Reasonably priced. read more

If I could give a negative star I would! I went in for a gel fill / shellac polish & pedicure. They truly don't know what they're doing! They used the powder that's used for acrylics first & when I questioned it they topped it with the gel then. The shellac is clumpy & paint has started coming off the ends when I washed my hands for the first time! They scrubbed so hard on my heals for my pedicure that my heal has now cracked! I'll be returning in the morning for a refund & will now have to waste more time getting this repaired somewhere else! Horrible experience! read more

Took my teenage granddaughter to Happy Nails for mani pedi. Male nail tech was working with client in the chair next to where my granddaughter was waiting. He kept staring at my granddaughter saying her simple shell ankle bracelet was "vodoo" and that teenagers "didn't know anything", that she "didn't know what she wanted" - going on and on about her appearance and making negative comments. He made he quite uncomfortable - so we excused ourselves and left. I understand they work with predominantly older clients, but perhaps he needs sensitivity training dealing with female younger clientele. His staring and his negative comments were totally inappropriate. I won't be going back. read more

So my husband and I are on vacation and came here to get a pedicure. We called at 12 for a 2 couple pedicure. We walk in and get out in chairs. My husbands gets his started and my water gets started. I'm waiting 15 minutes and a women walks in asking for an pedi/mani. The man who just finished a client and was cleaning his station put her in his chair and immediately starts working on her. Al the while I'm still soaking my feet waiting for someone to come help me? So I got out of my chair, wiped my feet off and now waiting for my husband to finish. probably the worst pedicure i've ever gotten. the lady who did my nails was rude, rushed the entire time, literally rammed into the side of me while i was standing waiting for my friend to be finished and i wasn't even in her way. she didn't even put lotion on my legs after the exfoliation which i thought was weird because the other two people i was with got the same basic pedicure and got lotion. i could tell the service was rushed. we came from out of town and went to the closest nail place there was but we definitely will not be going back here again. read more

I decided to give this place a try despite the bad reviews (many times people don't post the good ones) but I have to agree. The atmosphere was fine and they were friendly but the quality was amateur at best. I went in for gel acrylic's and she went so fast she burned me and by the time I went to wash my hands I saw how uneven and bumpy they were. I basically had to have her add a second layer, which then made them too thick. I had the american manicure so you can see the errors underneath and one looks cracked. They need to slow down and pay attention to detail! read more

Very good nails. There customer service is great I love this place I don't agree with the reviews. There very nice.

My nails are not so happy! Probably the worst pedicure & manicure I have ever had. My nail tech must of been the owner and she was so busy making sure everyone else was being taken care of, I was just an afterthought. Nails have rough edges and she didn't even trim my cuticles, never seen anything like this before. If I could give zero stars I would and as a suggestion, the name of the business should be called Crappy Nails, not Happy Nails! The Lady sitting next to me wouldn't even let them paint her toes, said she would rather go home an do it herself! read more

Horrible place. They shredded my cuticles and were rude when I asked for a refund. They refused to call the owner because "he doesn't answer the phone sometimes." They finally gave me a 50% refund but then made me wait while a bratty woman worked on someone's nails, rolling her eyes at me. This is not how professionals respond to criticism. read more

So after my experience yesterday I felt like I should leave this review. The ladies in here are SO SWEET, but unfortunately that can't make up for the quality :( I got acrylics done and I left with them all uneven and crooked, even after asking for it to be fixed. I ended up having to go home and shape them myself, even though I know the gel will peel off now, they were just so bad I had to do something. She also used a drill under my nails and tore up the skin under there to where it is still hurting. Regardless of that, my nails were smooth, no lumps, and the lady was really so kind but I can't find myself paying again to have to go home and fix my nails myself and be hurting. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Went in for acrylic nails and the girl filed my nails and fingertips so rough that they were bleeding. She also did a terrible job. My nails were so crooked and she also got the acrylic all over the skin around my nails. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau.
