I'm actually really upset with how my manicure went yesterday. The technician seemed rushed and nicked 2 of my cuticles before getting to my ring finger and completely butchering it leaving it bleeding the rest of the service. It is still sore today. I was even asked to put both hands in the UV lamp on top of each other which there was not room for and I have never been asked to do before. Instead of attempting to solve the issue he charged me full price (if there was a discount it wasn't mentioned) and hovered over me when I left a tip which made me really uncomfortable. If anyone has a consistent technician that they like at this location I am all ears. Otherwise I will be moving on. The trust is completely broken. Totally careless. read more

Rose is the best !!! She gave me a massage with my pedicure that almost made me fall asleep! Best pedicure I've had in years . She paid attention to my calluses didn't hurt me at all . I was uncomfortable from the start. Never greeted, welcomed, nothing! All 3 techs wearing masks still! My tech poked her head out from a room a pointed to the chair for me to sit in. When she joined me, there was no hello, no greeting what so ever, no offer of water, she just started working on my nails! This made me so uncomfortable and it was awkward and weird. I thought maybe she didn't speak English, but the owner told me after, that she does know English but she's just shy. What?! Then she's in the wrong business! I bought my wife a mani/pedi.. she had her feet done, nails only apparently.! Her heels needed attention as she is a hair dresser and on her feet for several hours a day. my 4 year old daughter and I came in to get our nails and toes done. she never had a pedicure before. she was ecstatic. I sat her down next to me and took her shoes off while we waited. she had a huge grin. it seemed the woman doing my toes was being rude a little bit. This is the third time that I have visited Top Nails and my second time as a client of Vincent's. I requested a fill for my acrylics (that I had gotten there previously) and he did low quality for the second time. My cuticles are filled with gel polish, my skin was cut by him and he kept trying to file down that area, and the shape was completely hastily. He also tried to paint my nails with bright white instead of the off-white that I requested by number and seemed annoyed when I asked for the color that I originally requested. I liked this place initially. Clean and fast right up until the next morning when my single color dip mani started to chip. Then the next day another finger and today a 3rd all for no reason. I'm here for the winter and have been getting dip for years back home for $10 less and they last for WEEKS, not 4 days! I won't be going back. read more

When I walked in they were not very busy. Got my acrylic nails filled and painted and the women who did them was rushing. So my nails ended up being crooked and not the same shape. Not only did she mess up the nails, when I picked a color for my nails the one she gave me was completely different and got upset when I asked for another color. She had only painted my pinky finger to see if I liked the color. She sat silently the whole time not even trying to interact with me and when I was done she threw my things on top of the fan station and didn't say anything to my the whole time. Great customer service huh!? I tried to give this place another try after the last time I went they ripped the skin off below my eyebrows when they waxed them. I make an appointment because I have a favorite tech but lots of people just walk in and because they have so many operators, the wait is minimal. My mom and I went in today and both did regular pedicures with gel manicures. The cost was $48 each plus tip. They did a great job, our toes look great and our gel manicures are fantastic! Not sure what the other girl was saying about no hand massage. When you get a regular manicure, they do a hand massage before polish. With our gel manicures, they did a hand massage after the polish. We would definitely go back, prices were reasonable, staff was all pleasant... plus it's within walking distance to my moms house! read more

Worst service I've experienced in a long time. I get a gel manicure about every two weeks, which can range from $25-30 depending on salon, this salon being on the higher side of that number. I typically get this done in Orlando on my lunch break, but since I live in New Smyrna, I decided I give this salon a try as it is convenient to also do on the weekends. Needless to say I was not impressed at all! First, I did not receive the typical treatment of a manicure- the hand massage, cuticles, etc. Second, I did make the mistake of scraping my pinky nail on the side of the dryer prior to my nail drying, and the Nail Technician didn't offer to fix it, he just scowled at me and told me not to that that again.Hence, I left with a messed up nail- Yes I should've demanded he fix it, but I was so over the experience, I just wanted out of there ASAP! The paint job was awful- my daughter could've done a better job, and the gel started chipping off just five days after getting them done. Isn't that the reason we pay to get a Gel manicure, to keep that from happening?? I can't even justify it by saying well at least they were cheaper, because they weren't at all.
