My nail tech Etianee was on point. I felt like I was talking to my favorite bar tender yet she never lost focus of doing a meticulously perfect job. Sterile use of tools and equipment, trimmed my cuticles gently and properly (because they still look perfect a week later!) made sure she got my approval of the shape she filed my nails, collaborated in my color choice and all! Love her! Overall vibe was energetic yet inviting and I was made to feel comfortable. I really liked the manager too because she was so passionate and engaged as if she were the owner. For that price, I expected professional application, quality workmanship, and a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I received the complete opposite. When I arrived, I specifically requested a builder gel full set and a pedicure. As soon as I sat down for my pedicure, they immediately began working on my nails simultaneously, which completely took away from the relaxing experience I was expecting. Despite clearly requesting builder gel, the first technician initially began applying powder for a traditional acrylic set. I had to stop him and explain that this was not what I requested. Once he switched to builder gel, the application was extremely messy and concerning. He was using his bare fingers to wipe excess builder gel off my nails and the surrounding areas rather than using proper application techniques. The product was getting everywhere, including on my clothing and phone. I was genuinely concerned about his familiarity with builder gel application. When I expressed my concerns and mentioned that he didn't seem experienced with builder gel, he became defensive and insisted that he performed the service frequently. His attitude toward me afterward made the entire experience uncomfortable. Eventually, another nail technician had to step in and correct the work. The builder gel full set alone took approximately THREE HOURS, while my pedicure was being completed simultaneously. After everything that happened, I requested a discount because I was extremely dissatisfied with the service. The staff seemed very hesitant to accommodate my request, and when I attempted to explain my concerns, there appeared to be little willingness to acknowledge what had happened or identify the original technician responsible. Despite this experience, I still tipped Miss Leanne, who completed my pedicure, and the gentleman who stepped in to correct my nails. I appreciated their efforts and wanted to recognize them individually. What is most upsetting is that after spending $90 on the builder gel full set alone, MY THUMB NAIL COMPLETELY POPPED OFF WITHIN JUST A FEW DAYS OF MY APPOINTMENT. I have had these nails for less than five days, and one has already completely detached. Builder gel enhancements are supposed to last significantly longer than a couple of days when applied correctly. This is completely unacceptable, especially considering the amount of money I spent and the three hours it took to complete the service. I understand that mistakes happen, but when customers are paying premium prices, they should receive professional service, proper application, and quality results. I left this salon feeling frustrated and disappointed, and now I am left with a missing nail after spending well over $100. I have attached photos showing exactly what happened to my thumb nail after only a few days. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because this experience was nowhere near the quality of service I paid for.
