I went in 2022 to pamper myself after working hard all week and just started school. I chose regular polish in navy but they tried pushing gel on me but said no. The tech tried scaring me by saying regular polish dries my nails. Newsflash! ACETONE DRIES NAILS OUT! I still use regular polish and I have my own nail dryer at home. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! I just had my nails done at "Lee nails"-- I received THE worst service I've ever had in my life. My request? "WHITE TIPS WITH GOLD GLITTER LINES on MY RING FINGER" -- for Christmas; that's the idea here-- not complicated, that's it!! He couldn't make any design, made zero effort and every nail is crooked and beat up. I told him it was an awful job and that I was paying for a service to be provided to me -- to my satisfaction, not his. He said "putting clear gel on now" "no gold" (and did I mention ALL the red nail polish I have on before was (and is) still in the beds of my nails!!? AND I had a pedicure -- poor design and horribly rough and impatient. You can't even pick a color-- this is THE WORST SALON EVER. My god. Completely shocked. Received NOTHING I wanted and I was treated HORRIBLY. The entire salon could see how awful my nails looked. A simple gold line? And Straight nails? Oh, and Clean nails? Hmm... seems like a pretty legitimate request. He just Kept scribbling nothing doodles and then removing the nail polish again-- while he is huffing and puffing as though "I was taking HIS TIME" -- literally THE MOST UNFRIENDLY AND AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND MAN I have ever HAD at any nail place in my entire life. And then tried to take $5.00 off. I said I'd pay 12 bucks for this disgusting "nail job". He then tried to have me sit down to "rip them off"!! INSANE. I very rarely post a negative review on anything but this place is the worst experience I've ever had. They know you're a captive audience because you're already at the mall but it's worth going anywhere else to avoid this place! They pushed everything you could think of on us, copped an attitude when we said no. She put the wrong color on my toes (which could have just been a misunderstanding) and when I said I would pay to change it (no problem, mistakes happen) she got a huge attitude and tried to tell me it would take forever so not even to bother. I left with not at all what I wanted and overpaid for a simple pedicure I could have gotten anywhere else for much less money and actually been satisfied when I asked to pay extra to fix it so it was what I wanted/ Overall the service was crap; the customer was not satisfied in any way, and we still paid well over $250 for some basic mani pedis. I took the gel polish off on my own in three minutes so I have no idea what she thought would take forever. The thing that makes me the most mad is that I went in there and took off polish that I loved done by my regular place simply because the people I was with wanted to get pedicures. I got some beautiful gel nails there and really love them, but the lady doing my nails ended up cutting into my skin multiple times. It was an accident and she didn't realize until I started feeling the pain. She was very sweet though. I would've been extremely happy if I didn't get cut on multiple of my fingers by a nail file. read more

This is an update of my review for the massage service they have. My wife and I have had manicures and pedicures together here and those have been fine. The massage I would not recommend. If you want a relaxing massage then this may be fine but I like a DEEP TISSUE or trigger point massage that will work out muscle knots and pain. First the room is private luckily because the female massage therapist simply said to get undressed and and lye down. No towel given. It all just seamed strange and I have experienced language understanding issues at this salon before so I was not sure if she wanted me out of everything or not. Mid way thought she said OK and walked out so I got up and got dressed. She returned with some hot towel and looked at me like "why are you dressed". Back on the table and a bit more treatment but it all seamed haphazard. Not for me. read more

Do NOT go here. Tried this place for the first time. My cuticles and nail beds are so sore from the over drilling. Was forced to get an 8 dollar mini mani which involved over clipping my cuticles until they bled before applying my acrylics. The customer service was awful. The nail tech snatched my hands around and yelled at me to relax. Very rude and dirty place. I basically payed 60 dollars to get yelled at and my cuticles clipped until they bled. Walked in 40 minutes prior to closing and the owner immediately accepted us, after looking at their wall of polish, my gut told me to bail, but of course I just stubbed my toenail and I had to have fixed it somehow. My husband and I had gotten the deluxe pedicures. He got a rosemary organic bulls*** pedicure ($60) w/ Tina while I got the sun soak bulls*** pedicure w/ Minh. The salon looked worn in and dated. Pedicure chairs were older and needed updating. The seat massage barely did anything other than shake you. Lots of Vietnamese speaking in the salon, all nuisance and nonsense. Other techs were walking by telling them they were so lucky to have "two large shark victims late in the day, salon lingo: big ticket items". Fast forward into the pedicures, my husband was left sitting with the mask wrapped around his feet for 10+ minutes while she ran off to do an eyebrow wax. The leg massage felt like she was just tickling his legs, no pressure applied. Same for me, lousy pedicure, most pathetic foot rubs ever, each step was 20 seconds long per foot. No disposable file, buff and pumice. Reused tools, didn't see autoclave anywhere. Messy salon in desperate need of tidying up. Polish was still left on the side of my toe (didn't remove all polish, polish still on nails and underneath nail). Ridiculous. Only bonus to this $110 + gratuity mess was that I got to spend time with my husband. read more

I am only giving this place two stars because the staff was relatively kind and it looked clean, but my nails are disappointing. I got my acrylic removed and got a gel manicure. My nails are uneven. The polish is sloppy. One of my nails has a bubble of polish on it. She was so focused on cutting my cuticles and didn't do a good job on painting or shaping them. She also nicked me with the drill a few times. I also had glue residue on my fingers from the soak off. I told the tech i wanted them as short as possible and she didn't understand english and no one stepped in to help translate, so I know that's not her fault. She didn't even look to see if they were even, though. I only came here out of convenience, no reason to come back. read more

Clear polish after perfunctory manicure lasted an hour before peeling. I called salon and man (manager) told me that clear polish does not last. I said that had never been my experience, and asked tht he return my money. He hung up on me. Afternoon I was there,, salon had many customers, moved in and out like cattle. Went in there about a week ago to get a gel manicure and a pedicure. The lady was rushing on my pedicure, once she told me to go sit down for my manicure, I looked down at my toes and it looked like a 4 year old had painted my toes. It was all out of the lines, paint on my skin. After seeing my toes, I didn't even want to get my hands done there, but ended up going through with it. Well, I shouldn't have. My gel manicure started peeling and chipping 3 days later. Mind you I didn't do anything out of the regular during these 3 days. I mean, it's not like we as the customers are paying them $10 bucks for their services. For services that cost $60 and more all together, I would expect better outcome than this. I don't get manicures or pedicures except when my mother in law is in town. I'm talking maybe once a year or two. We were going to the mall so thought we'd try somewhere different. Bad choice! I will never go back. THEY DO NOT LET YOU PICK WHAT YOU WANT! Like seriously. I wanted the basic pedi, yes the cheapest but that should be my choice right!? Why is it even on the menu!!? Pushy and uncomfortable and rude. My chair wasn't plugged in until I was almost done. Hard to get in and out of seats bc they're so close to each other. The guy made me feel like he was annoyed which was not relaxing or pleasant. My 9 year old got her first mani pedi this day and they all chipped that same day. They were annoyed I wouldn't do a gel manicure on her but we aren't going to come back for upkeep or have it removed so why would we? I don't leave reviews often but joined Yelp to make sure I could share this. An old man came in next to me and wanted the cheapest pedicure which I also tried and tried to pick but they would not let me, he finally slammed his finger down on the menu and pointed at it and the person literally laughed at him and seemed so annoyed. The only reason I will give this place such a low rating is they do an okay job when I have gone to get a pedicure/manicure. The problem is you will say all you want is the basic and hope to sit back and enjoy the experience; however, the entire time you are sitting there they are trying to upgrade you to a deluxe or charge $5 more for callous removal or to get your eyebrows done. They will even tag team you; almost shame you for not getting the upgrade. The whole staff does this and I do not have this experience anywhere else I have gone. I explain as a client what I would like and an upgrade might get mentioned once and that is it. I am not terrorized the whole time to upgrade. So much for a relaxing spa experience. I used to go a lot and then noticed these hard core sales tactics lately. Needless to say the last straw was around the holidays. I tried to squeeze in a pedi/mani during a busy day of shopping and walked out more stressed out than relaxed. They will not take no this is what I want for an answer. I am convinced they are trained to do this and are trying to get you to spend $50 or more for a service you think you are going to get charged $35. I have started going elsewhere and I am very happy and actually get to relax during the experience instead of bullied. I would recommend the Blown Dry Bar! Literally the worst place ever. Charges waaaay too much for what it was. I feel like the guy who did my pedicure and full set just rushed through everything. He didn't file my nails well because they are crooked. And there's a huge gap on the side of my nail where the acrylic nail and my nail don't meet. He was rough and didn't buff them. He drilled them down to the point where it started to get hot. The acrylic isn't an even layer. My friend who went with me got a fill and a pedi and she wasn't happy with her results either. After reading the reviews of this place, I was fully prepared to deflect any upselling that came my way. To my surprise, I was only asked if I also wanted a pedicure, which I declined. They have a great selection of gel polish- OPI, Gelish, and Shellac, and my gel manicure was $27, which is very reasonable as compared to the prices where I live. Jennifer did an excellent job on my nails, and did my manicure quickly and efficiently. My cuticles look great. The salon is clean and well maintained. There is a large staff, and all walk-ins who came by while I was getting my nails done were taken right away- no waiting. The location in the mall is convenient- my husband waited next door at Books-a-Million. It seems like they have regular clients who live locally, as well as tourists like me. Worst service ever. I went in to have my nails redone for a special occasion. I get pink/white gel acrylics as they stay shiny and strong longer. Usually have minimal cracking. Well, I was wrong. I went in to get a fill and (this is making me angry as I type this and look at them a mere week after getting them done), I told him what I wanted, even showed him. Short, dark pink and gel. Wasn't dark pink, some nails were longer than the others, he didn't fill my white so now even though they're not overly grown out, I have to get them filled because the white is now past my finger. 2 nails have cracked within the first week because he filed them down so thin. Just to charge me over the fee written on the board for a fill. I only went there because I didn't have the time to go to my usual place. Do not go to lee's for acrylics at all. They will do what they want, not what you ask for. read more

This nail salon is eh. I was greeted and brought to a station relatively promptly, as I went in over an hour before close. I got to my seat for a pedicure, and it all went downhill from there. They have almost 20 pedicure chairs, and put 5 people all immediately next to each other. I had no privacy. The young girl who did my pedicure was inattentive, and at many points stopped what she was doing to have conversations with coworkers. She also stared at an injury of mine without even trying to hide that she was looking at it. And at one point, another employee moved my belongings without even addressing me. She cut deep into my big toes (knock wood I have never had an ingrown toe nail and nice nails) for no reason I could see and I couldn't communicate why or for her to stop. It was over 60 dollars which is highway robbery and I pay half everywhere else in this county. Never again. I learned my lesson. Tim did an amazing job on my nails!! I love the shape and He took his time filing and make sure each one was perfect to the way I like it. there were two nails that had bubbles from the polish and he went and fixed them himself without me asking. they definitely want to make sure you have a great experience and the price is quite affordable!! definitely plan on coming back! read more

OMG went there for mani pedi and first of all it cost extra for her to scrap my heels. Secondly she didn't even clean under my nails and when I grabbed the nail cleaning tool she got all huffy I guess it costs extra to clean under your nails.. the pedi the polis was all streak and will never go back. read more

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to the employees are rude and racist. They asked the black lady sitting next to me if she could afford the price for her nails to get done. Tried to convince my 85 year old grandma to pay 5 extra dollars for something that was included in the service then lied to me saying she did not ask her that when I was sitting right next to her. Horrible service!! I asked for french manicure with gel that kept looking worse and worse. I kept asking the man who was doing my mani/pedi to fix it an he kept ignoring me. Finally he got angry and threaten me to remove everything with the electric nail filer when another guy realized what was going on and tried to fix them. He sort of did but two of my nails peeled that day and the rest are peeling now, a day after. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. read more
