I went to Pro Nails in Daytona Beach with my mother and niece for pedicures, and we were the only ones there at first. They quickly sat us down and started the water, which was fine. But as soon as more customers started to come in--three for pedicures and two for nails--the entire vibe changed. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and from that point on, we were rushed through everything. My niece and I paid extra for the hot stone pedicure, but the stones were barely warm--definitely not what you'd expect for that service. The pedicure itself felt rushed, steps were clearly skipped, and both of us were cut by files or over-trimmed cuticles. It felt careless and uncomfortable. My mom and I also asked for manicures after, which were $22 each. Her manicure included a lemon scrub, hot towel, and hand massage. Mine, on the other hand, was rushed and sloppy--I was left bleeding from over-cut cuticles, no nail cleaning, uneven filing, and the "hand rub" was so quick it didn't even moisturize my skin. There was still visible dirt under my nails when I left. Oddly enough, during the pedicure, they didn't massage our feet at all--only our legs--which I found strange, especially since I asked specifically for a foot rub. Overall, the experience felt rushed, careless, and unprofessional. I understand when a business gets busy, but the quality of service shouldn't suffer this much. I made an appointment for 9:45 AM and didn't get started til 10:10 AM. I am on a time crunch and for this to happen is already not a good sign. I asked for a mani pedi. Pedi was good. No complain about that. However, they cut my fingers while the nail artist is drilling and filling my left hand. Cuts shown on pictures. I originally wanted a french tip, but she suggested to do a full nail color to hide the bleeding. She also didn't apply acrylic well on my middle finger in my right hand. It's crooked and not the same color as the other fingers. read more

definitely don't recommend. Got a full set done with 3 other people and all 4 of us left with a disappointment. mine- the design is backwards and the Polish is so spotty. I also paid almost $70 my niece- same design as mine and same length and her design is so sloppy. she paid $55 sister in law- the shaping is horrendous.. Their prices don't line up. Was ok, had a pedicure but for the price was not as good as it should have been so I will try to go somewhere else so they can get the dead dry skin on the feet sides off. I didn't find the feet as soft as should be after calls remover salt scrub and hot wax, the job was a speed through they where not to busy but maybe be she had an appointment and the other 3people there where unable to take care of them? Not sure how they where able to buy new furnishings but that's all that they spoke about, but I guess they can do what they need to do as looking nice is not something that is just important as doing the job, right! read more

Great place I would definitely recommend them for nails, pedI cured and waxing! I set an appointment and when I walked in I was in the chair within 5 mins. My daughter and I both had our nails done and they look amazing! I also had my eyebrows done and was terrified they were going to get screwed up but Vicky reshaped them and i am so happy with them. The atmosphere was great because everyone was just talking and laughing. It was just what I needed and I will definitely be back! read more

Went in for acrylic nails about 1/2 an hour before closing time last week. I asked and reiterated that if there wasn't enough time I would be happy to book an appointment the following day. They insisted that there was plenty of time. I needed my nails done for an event and was in a pinch at that point. I've had acrylic nails many, many times before. I'm not new to this rodeo. 1- The person doing my nails didn't bother with my cuticles AT ALL. And they were a mess. 2- They applied the acrylic in a thick layer at the base of the nail, which made them look lumpy and not at all natural (not even close!). 3- They applied the acrylic too far from the bas of my nails. It looked like a week's growth when I walked out. I will have to get them filled (AND reshaped this week). 4- They insisted that I get gel color on top. I had to explain several times that I like to change my polish color a couple of times a week, so gel was not the right answer for me. 5- I wanted shorter nails (since I work out and have to type at work) and the guy doing my nails kept insisting that he likes long nails better. I had to ask him *several* times to make them shorter. 6- As I was sitting there, I noticed what appeared to be mold on the wall near the baseboard. The rest of the place wasn't very clean, either. It was cheap and I got what I paid for. UGH read more

Definitely just a so-so place. I got seated right away, but the person doing my toes kept acting like they were in such bad shape. I get my feet done like every 3 weeks, they aren't that bad! Beware of botched nail jobs! Stay away from this place and its rude employees. They talk on their cell phones the entire time while they are doing your nails and that leads to mistakes that can't be fixed right then because they tell you to come back later! A co-worker and I recently spent a weekend in Daytona for my birthday. We decided pedicures were in order and wandered away from the beach to find a spot away from the touristy side. They were able to get us in really quickly and it was exactly what our tired tootsies were wanting. As massage therapists, our feet and legs need a break. The massage/reflexology part of the pedicure was what you would expect ... I've just been kind of spoiled by having pedicures at home with someone who is also a massage therapist ... so they are a little more vigorous. I visited Pro Nails today for the first time I've been going to Lee's Nails at the Volusia Mall since I moved here last year that very tired of the upselling and rudeness so I thought I'd try something new. Me and my friends are visiting from out of town and we decided to get our nails done based on the reviews here. For it being a Saturday they were very accommodating. We came in around 3:30pm and it was busy. They asked us to come back at 4:45pm which was totally fine. Once we came back they took us right away for gel manicures and regular pedicures. Had a very good experience. We are from out of state and we're here on vacation. Myself and two daughters were in need of pedicures. I chose this location because of the reviews I read on-line there were closer salons but I wanted a hassle free pleasant experience. They did not disappoint. We got the Super pedicure which was $40. It was over an hour long and was amazing. They did such a good job. I suggest calling to make an appointment there are only four technicians. It is a small family owned salon.
