I booked online: acrylics, pedicure and waxing. Pedicure was ok but rushed, and nails were trimmed and then filed.. painfully! I jerked my foot away a couple of times. No top coat. Same person did my acrylics and I showed him a photo of very long oval nails which they show on their own website! What I got was Not Even Close! Super short, painfully filed to points. I was under they impression of the location & it'd be a good bail salon because they are in the trails shopping plaza. Nice restaurants, a nice shopping area, but it was a horrible experience. I called before calling, and said I'd tip well, if you take care of me (i always that to be silly/serious lol) came in 40 minutes before closing and it was an awful experience. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I was warmly greeted and helped right away (without an appointment) But... I'd recommend this spot for basic Pedis only. I went in for a "classic" pedi and gel mani and was not happy with my manicure. First, the pedicure: comfortable chairs and appeared to be clean - they use a liner and the tools were clean. She did a good job and after 4 days on a Mexican vacation, my polish is still holding strong. You get a light massage and hot towel along with all the other typical pedi amenities. Second, the manicure: the nail station was dirty and dusty. When I sat down she used one of those large "puffs" to clean the work space but then later used that same puff to clean off my hands (gross.) The station seemed like it hadn't been wiped down all day. The gel application on my nails was not done well, it was thick and uneven and I had polish on my skin around the nail when I left (see pic.) Long story short - I may go back for a pedi in a "last minute" situation because it is so close to my house but I would not go in for any sort of gel option or for a manicure. read more

I am very satisfied with the quality of the service at this salon. Whenever I go for a manicure and a pedicure, I always ask for Henry. Henry is very quiet, but he is always professional and he does a consistently good job. He truly cares about his customers. I also receive an occasional facial from Jenny, and Jenny does an excellent job. I enjoy her facials with the head and neck massages very much. I get a pretty good vibe from being in the place. The temperature in the place is usually comfortable (not too warm or too cold). The staff are polite and professional. I would recommend this place to a friend or family member who normally goes to nail salons. I would also suggest this place to someone who is a novice at getting manicures, pedicures, etc. In a nutshell, I like the service at this place, I feel comfortable there, and I think the quality of the service that the staff provides is very good. 1st visit: So far the place seems pretty good regardless of the reviews. I got a $37 pedicure and they provide you with a pedicure menus with a variety of options PROS: - my pedicurist didn't really talk to me which is fine with me. I just wanted to decompress and chill on my phone - menu offers options for pedicure - he did a great job. His name is Tam. His filing was a little rough on the skin but he was good. I'll ask for him again when I go - they keep the place looking neat and clean by not having a bunch of crazy carts of supplies all over. CONS: - TV location doesn't really work too well with the direction the chairs are facing. They should have one on the far wall where I can watch something but doesn't matter if I have my phone - whatever he put on my legs started burning so don't shave the same day you go in - would be easier if pedicure menu was presented with bullet points under each option instead of long paragraphs. It would make it easier to see difference amongst the options - they offer other services but I have no idea what they are because when you walk in the menu is on a board behind you. I didn't notice until I walked in and sat down - foot and leg massage could've been rougher/harder SUGGESTIONS: - put your full body of services in 1 menu for guests to hold. While getting a pedicure I might have gotten something else - pedicure option list should be in bullet points instead of paragraphs. I probably would've gotten a more expensive service - offer a beverage. Water, tea, coffee, champagne, wine, whatever. 2nd Visit: Absolutely horrible. Came in to get powder. Sat at the nail table all the way in the back corner with the grumpiest nail tech ever. I wanted a heart on my fingernail because it was valentines week and I wanted it to match for a special picture with my baby. He said he could do it without taking a breath. Then when it was time to do it he did this ridiculous blob that literally didn't resemble a heart. I asked him kindly to redo it and he got super upset and said "well I can't do it." Had I known I'd get to the end to be denied my request and reason for continuing to get a service here I would've gone somewhere else or asked the manager who can put a heart on a nail. Are use Anthony, who does a French manicure on me the only thing I would like to see more of his communication before he does my nails because he just kind of does what he wants to do and then we just wait until the next time for us to do it the way I wanted it done but he does do a good job on him. The first time I had him do my pedicure. It was really good in the second time it's interesting because you can feel it or you can sense if somebody's into what they're doing. I know it's a job but it would be nice to see that people really have a passion for what they do which I I don't know if anybody really would giving a pedicure but I would say I'll do my nails with Anthony but I don't think the pedicure was really worth the money. My wife bought me a manicure and pedicure gift certificate for my birthday. The pedicure is for me and the manicure is for her. This is the only time I get this done. A very nice experience. Mindy? Was my technician and was very pleasant and always asked if I was OK with the heat of the was or the type of cut. When getting the rock massage I told her that I never find the person doing it does it hard enough. She did a better job than I have had before. There is a private room for bridals parties that looked nice and I will keep in mind for my daughter DOWN THE ROAD!! I decided to give this place a try and have a gel mani. After my experience at this nail salon I decided that I wouldn't go back. The place is cluttered and not clean I also had to go back to redo one nail (the day after I dod my nails) because the gel polish started chipping. When I called they were nice about it and fixed it at no charge. Another nail the second day started chipping. I'm very hesitant if I should go back or not.. this is such an inconvenience it's frustrating. So take my advice and skip this salon. read more

Last year I lost my big toenails due to infection because my immune system was so weak due to cancer treatments. I finished all my treatments and my toenails grew out.My oncologist gave me the green light for a pedicure. I was so excited. I decided to go to Yogani Nails. I picked the Classic pedicure. I didn't catch the young man's name but believe me he was young. He didn't take the dead skin off my feet or clean out from under my toenails basically all he did was trim my nails and cut my cuticles. I didn't even get oil on my feet I picked a lavender gel polish. And my paint job looks horrible. And I paid $55 for my pedicure. I litterly cried when I got back home. I'm not someone that can say something. It's just not my style. I just held my tongue and walked out after paying. I mean I never even write reviews but this was the worst experience and I just had to say something. Get absolutely NO stars. They ripped me off. I went there with my mother. Henry did a pedicure, nail take-off,and a manicure for me. Sam did a pedicure and manicure for my disabled Mom. When I checked us out, Sam was with another client. I paid Henry $45 cash for hers($38 + tip). I then paid him for mine with a charge, $98($88 + tip). When I got home, I called them to find out the breakdown of my charges because I felt I was overcharged. Apparently, after talking to the owner, Henry had charged me for my Mom's too. Henry says I never gave him any money. The man basically pocketed $45 dollars from us and then lied to his boss. Sam even got on the phone with me and said he did not get any money. Went to get my nails done at 10:00a. Only to find No one is open on Sunday's in this town. So finally find a place open in ormond. Go to get my nails done after an hour of searching for places. I see a "grand opening 15-% off" promo. SCORE! Yeah not so much. Walk in to nail salon greeted my manager. Asks me what I would like done. I say I have gel polish on now and want them soaked off and a manicure. I also said screw it 15% off I'll get a pedicure too! So I proceed to pick my color. My getting my pedi when chaos starts. Another nail tech is arguing with the manager/owner. So clearly I'm distracted by this. The next thing I know my pedi is done. Okay wow that was quick. Whatevs. In the meantime I'm like huuuu weird my nails never got soaked (those of you with gel/shellac know what I mean)Whatever. I sit down for my manicure and the tech goes "oh you have gel!" I'm like yah! I told the dude when I walked in. She's like no problem and starts hacking away at my nails by peeling the polish off my nails!!!! WTF!!!! Then she is telling me about how her friend got jumped at razzles last night by like 6 people in the bathroom. I'm like "omg is she okay?? What happened" she's like "I don't know she is in the hospital I'm hurrying to go see her." FANTASTIC! At that moment the girl u thought was fired sits down next to my girl and stars chatting with her. Convo goes as follows: "He is such a fucking ass hole... I cannot believe him.... I don't know what his fucking problem is" as some of you know I am pretty hard of hearing so let's just say she was loud! I'm in shock at this point. The girl goes back to continue or start I'm not sure a pedi on another woman. Meanwhile I hear her and the manager arguing in front of the customer getting the pedi. the nail tech is like "I don't know what your problem is" looks at the customer and says "this is how he is. This is how he treats us" THEN!!! The cops walk in!!!! So the manager/owner fired the girl and she refused to leave. Well her station was next to where I'm getting my nails done and the cops are telling her to get her stuff. Meanwhile there is a cop standing over me trying to get this girl to get her shit. The girl is loosing her mind flipping out. And I'm here like I just wanna get the hell out of here. The lady in the pedi chair is like "so who is going to do my nails??!?" And I'm just here like my anxiety is sky rocketing. I'm literally about to just cry. So I start recording as discreetly as I can. I recorded a majority of the altercation with the cops and the nail tech. The cops were super patient and nice and just doing there job. Not once did the manager apologize to me. In fact the cop apologized to me but never the manager. My nails are done, I pay, I get to my car and I now see my toes for the first time. Literally the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. My anxiety was so high I couldn't go back. I would have balled my eyes out from all the chaos. I went home called them and the manager asked me to send him a pic. I did. He asked me to come back which hell to the no . I just told him politely to please credit my card for the pedicure. I didn't even tell him about my gel getting hacked off by the tech. The nails look decent. I'm fine with them. Still haven't received my money back so we will see. read more

Do not expect this salon to honor appointments! Had a bride in tears the day before her wedding and scrambling hours before her rehearsal to get her nails done for her big day. This was after I reserved, in person three weeks in advance, the private mani/pedi room for her and her maid of honor to have a quiet break from all the stress, then called a week ahead to confirm not only the services but the private room reservation, and confirmed one more time with another employee in person two days before when having my nails done. Each time I was assured of the room reservation by three separate employees! I did my due diligence and expected competence and professionalism in honoring the reservation. My daughter and her maid of honor arrived to find they had someone else in the room, probably a higher paying customer. They did nothing to honor their commitment and the manager just took the low road and pointed fingers at his staff rather than being honorable, being accountable, or showing any ounce of compassion or empathy. I know this isn't brain surgery, but it is a big day in a woman's life, and for a bride, nails are part of that day. Shame on this manager for this behavior, you can be proud that you made a young woman cry the day before her wedding. Sadly, I liked the salon and staff as a walk in. Just would never trust them with scheduling and to do the right thing when they mess up. For that reason I will never return. read more

I went here after my favorite place in Daytona was completely swamped with traffic due to a car show. I was pretty impressed, the place is clean, and everyone was friendly. This place is nice and clean. I had kitty do my pedicure. It was good and she was able to take out my ingrown toe nails which is hard to find some one that is able to get them all. She had said she had an appt at 11:45. So she kind of rushed my pedi. I sat down after the lady next to me and I was done 15 min before her. And the sign on the door says Yogani nails and spa so "Tipsy Nails" isn't the name any more. Kind of confusing circling the parking lot. Good nail polish selection! Worst salon in the Ormond area! I went with a group of 3 and all three of us walked out unhappy. I paid $33 for a paraffin pedicure. The guy never touch me with any cuticle cutter. And probably put on the thickets coats of paint I have ever seen. My cousin was left in his pedicure chair for over 20 mins before we had to grab an employee and remind them, and then rushed his manicure because they forgot about it. Then finally my moms manicure has a bunch of air bubbles in the paint. We walked out with paying over $150 for all 3 of us and it sucked. I generally don't get my nails done but, Tuesday, I decided to give it a go. I stopped in Yugani nails before going to Publix. The people in there were great, and made me feel very comfortable. I was only going to get my a manicure but, it went so well I did a pedicure too. Definitely will go back, I was so relaxed when I left, that I forgot all about going to Publix.
