The services are great. Waxers are very nice, however mgmt. team/customer service really, really, really sucks!!! If it wasn't for my wax passes being already paid for, I'd stop going to EWC altogether!!! I tried to return a completely unused product to do, so I could afford the tip on my service and I'm told no I can't do that. So, what am I supposed to do?! I'm flat broke bc of the cost of the product, and it's so not fair that I have to leave the center w/o leaving a damn tip for my waver!!! Ta boot, they've got my product in limbo in their center trying to figure out what to do when mgmt. is off today!!! Sooo dissatisfied for the LAST time!!! read more

The manager at this location is very unprofessional and an unkempt slob. They are very disrespectful of our time. I arrived, on time, for my appointment. When I arrived, I wasn't informed that there would be at least a 30 minute delay and subsequent wait. When I realized there was going to be a long delay, I said to the manager, it would have been nice for you to tell me about the long wait. I also overheard them fitting in the person in front of me who was a walk in, which is ridiculous. Why should I have to wait because someone walks in and gets to go before me? I made an appointment and drove a ways to get there on time to be respectful of their time. Once I started to complain, the manager essentially kicked me out of the store. I will never go back, and think the unprofessional manager should be fired. Hopefully, the owners of the store will watch the video from this encounter. read more

Tiffany is the best! I've had so many Brazilians in my day (every four weeks for the past 8 years, so you do the math) and they've ranged from completely painless to brutal. Tiffany is calm, confidant, proficient, and easy to talk/distract yourself with, but the best part is you don't really need the last part since she's so good at what she does. She's fast, thorough, and relatively painless. The check in part was a breeze too; they practice social distancing, everyone was wearing masks and they take your temperature before going back. Great experience today getting a full-leg wax. Embarrassing to say but, I literally hadn't shaved or waxed since the first week of 2020 and my legs were HORRENDOUS (think Chewbacca)!! Angela did a great job and really made me feel comfortable as I was very self conscious about the forest that was growing on my legs. Making me comfortable and was talking to me the whole time to make sure i was okay while in the waxing process. I had a full leg service, Brazilian and armpit wax done. I normally go to an Asian nail salon to get my eyebrows done, but i recently moved to Daytona and wanted to try a nicer place. The wax center in Ormond is so nice and clean! I recommend Carina for a wax! She's quick and makes me look good!!! Although it's more than what i pay, it's worth it! They fill in your brows after every session. Also your first wax is free! I've been coming here for about a year now and basically have had every girl that works there wax me. I never really care who waxes me as every one of them are amazing and well trained. Today however I had Lucy. I don't think I could ever go to anyone else besides her now. She's gentle, efficient and incredibly sweet. Easy review: The Good: **OMG THE WAX is so amazingly awesome for my super sensitive skin. No redness or irritation whatsoever & I've never been able to say that!!!! -Eyebrows were free for first timing it & an additional promotion for ears or nose as well. I picked nose being a guy lol. Ok ok not that funny. -Super nice front desk staff & the place was clean like a doctors office. -Knowledgeable staff & they take all the extra steps that other places seem to skip. They measure,trim & fill in your brows lightly for a natural look. -Did I mention that the wax they use is not only painless or irritating whatsoever???! Ok just checking! I've been to this place three times now. Each time I've scheduled for a cheek and upper lip wax. The first two times, the waxer took skin off of my face along with hair. It was minimal and I understand that it can happen so I let it go. In my most recent experience, I arrived 5 minutes early and was looking forward to just letting the waxer know that there had been some lift issues in the last two sessions. However, after listening to reception staff describe the late policy (customers are given a 9 minute grace period to arrive for their service and if they do not arrive, the appointment is rescheduled) to another woman who arrived after and was seen before me (I had not scheduled with any particular waxer), I was told 10 minutes AFTER my appointment time that it was going to be a few more minutes before I would be seen. I watched the entire waiting room empty before I was told that my waxer was running behind. I will not be returning. read more

This is the best place to get a bikini /brazilian wax in Daytona area .. in terms of price and experience of staff. The prices , if you buy a package are very reasonable. I like their skin products for exfoliation too. Ive been with many technicians because my availability on when I can come is very restricted.... so I have to take who is available. I can honestly say I ve enjoyed every one of them. Very nice and professional. Very quick to apply pressure when waxing.. which any veteran can tell you.. pressure is very important once the wax is pulled off. They make it as comfortable as possible. Only 4 stars because this is a busy place and they do turn rooms over quickly. I completely understand Covid precautions, I am an advocate for them but what I don't appreciate is being left outside in the dark and rain which the receptionist did the first time I met her. 2nd time I didn't bring my phone, my text for appointment did not say that you had to bring phone, well the receptionist Alexa got very hostile, unpleasant and scolds you instead of speaking with a positive attitude, this is supposed to be a relaxed enjoyable experience. I asked Alexa if I can just enjoy my appointment and have someone else speak with me, someone more pleasant, It's unfortunate they allow people to behave this way. I hear this location is privately owned so imagine this is why. I have been coming here for years and never had an issue. Have always been treated very kind and laid back as it out to be when going to treat your to some TLC procedure, it was horrible. They explain every step of the way. Candice is awesome - request this super professional waxer with a great demeanor. I was very pleased with how my brow wax came out. I went today and saw Candy, who was very professional and nice, and was surprised at how thorough she was with my brows. She asked what I wanted to do with them(grow them more etc), gave a very good consultation, and she proceeded to trim them and shaped them just like I had asked her to. I was visiting my family in Daytona Beach last weekend and decided to go get a Brazilian and under arm wax. 1st the receptionists were AMAZING super friendly and professional. 2nd the place was clean and organized. 3rd and most important my waxer..........STEPHANIE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! It had been a while since my last wax and I do mean a while. Stephanie was so thorough and meticulous there was hardly any missed hairs. I live in Miami and I am seriously considering driving up there every 4weeks to get waxed by her. She makes you super comfortable and super clean I literally "struted out" the salon. I recommend Stephanie 100% I have told everyone about her. She is there Tues Wed Thurs and Sun. Go make your appointment with her I guarantee you will be more than pleased with her. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The girl who did my waxing did a horrible job. There were lots of places she completely missed and I had stubble by the next day. I've had waxing done before and this was definitely a poorly done job. They had a promotion that said free wax on 1st visit for new clients but of course that was just to get you in the door. It was actually half price which could explain the poor quality, I'd hate to see how bad it would have been if it was free read more

Wax techs are great but recently it seems they are overbooking without giving enough time between appointments. I end up waiting 20 to 30 minutes for my scheduled appt. If this continues I will go somewhere else. It's annoying enough to have physicians not respect my time. read more
