I have been searching for a new salon/hairdresser for several months and I still cannot believe how…read morelucky I was to have finally found The Hair Phoenix. Sandie is beyond amazing! I have the absolute best hair cut (rivaling the hair cut I had while in Florence, Italy). We also have a great plan to gradually change my hair color (which Sandie had personally created to achieve the best color for me). I plan on telling my friends to schedule an appointment when they are in town. It is so refreshing to find a hairdresser that listens to what you want to achieve AND actually can make it happen. It seems that so many hairdressers are not able to think outside the box and thus they just keep giving the vast majority of their clients the same dated cut and style. Sandie can do it all. If you want "edgy" she can magically make that happen too. I highly recommend Sandie with The Hair Phoenix. She is truly a pro, with the added benefit of being a fun, caring person! Patricia

She got every detail that I wanted, color match, perfection. Beautiful loose curls brought the whole package together! The salon was warm and welcoming with jeweled Green velvet seating. I needed to post more pictures for my hair SPECIALIST, Bertine…read more I couldn't do it without posting another review so, I will again tell & show you how awesome & professional she is. I am a PICKY hair SNOB when it comes to my hair. In 15 years living here, BERTINE is the ONLY one who actually LISTENS & WRITES down what I want & need done. You DO know what I'm talking about that you CANNOT FIND anyone here like this. Believe me, I've searched AND interviewed so called Hairdressers from OBS Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Flagler, AND Port Orange. ( If you DON'T WANT to hear about terrible hairdressers, scroll down to the bottom) _______________________________ ***To BE FAIR, I DID find some decent ones BUT, after a while, they didn't look at what they wrote down & did what they wanted to do to my hair. I had a hairdresser for 4 years (Goddess). She was from N.Y. She was just getting started here & had reasonable prices, THEN, She started to talk about HERSELF (Goddess) & actually Left me alone while she went to pick her car up. She became so popular, she rather prices, & didn't give her regulars any respect. She started to do what SHE THOUGHT I wanted for my hair. (again Goddess) THEN, she bleached it WITHOUT my permission. (I like 2 colors in my hair). It came out FRIZZED, & DAMAGED my hair to NO repair. When I told her how awful it was, she had the other hairdressers say it was the best it ever looked. When I have a disagreement with her, (FREAKIN GODDESS) SHE BANNED ME FROM HER SALON!!!*** ________________________________ OK, enough of terrible hairdressers, I have NEVER told anyone about this particular hairdresser (GODDESS) so you can START to read here again BERTINE from "The Establishment" took approximately 9 months to repair my hair & have it bea8& growing again.

Completely & utterly the worst experience I have EVER faced in my life!! Negative Stars!!!!…read more **UPDATED & easier to read review** First week of January 2017 Facts: -The Eyelash Extension Tech(Yeshin)has no license, insurance or the ability to acquire one since you must obtain a hair, nail or skin license etc in order to be able to become licensed!! -The glue she used isn't FDA Approved for eyes! EXTREMELY DANGEROUS(it's no different then super glue) Plus the glue itself doesn't do well in humidity lol(HELLO FLORIDA). -I asked for natural looking everyday lashes that wouldn't interfere with my glasses & she applied double the length & size that hit my glasses. -SHE GLUED MY LASHES TOGETHER IN CLUMPS & ONTO MY LID WHICH YOU SHOULD NEVER DO! -She did 1 eye at a time instead of balancing both eyes out at the same time(like taught in school)! You can do one eye at a time if you know what you're doing but the chance for mistakes will arise & it's harder to make corrections if it's to far off! -She used 3 different style on the outer edges making one side weigh down the outer edge while the other didn't! It was completely obvious that was s mistake. -She kept her ringer on her phone so as she played calming music her phone would obnoxiously ring in between!!! -I told her several times I was unhappy but her only solution at the end was "just come back in a couple weeks & I'll fix them"!! Lol....ummm HELLO THIS IS MY FACE!!! -My eyes were blood shot for 4-5 days,my lids were sore & yes...my lashes were in fact hitting the inside of my glasses! -I had them removed by a licensed & insure profesional & it hurt soooo freaking bad!! Clumps of my real lashes were coming out along with the searing hot pain of super glue in my eyes as she was removing everything(unavoidable)!! Long story short her customer service was even worse then the experience itself. This was my first time so I leaned heavily on her to guide me through my anxiety.I didn't know most of the things I do now which is of course my fault but she shouldn't of let me walk out the way she did! I had to fight with her for a week to get her to find me a solution & then she finally caved & said "I'll remove them"!! OK so why didn't she just remove them right away or give me that choice????!! I honestly thought I was stuck with them for a couple weeks because that was my only choice!! UGHHH! Once again I'll take part of the blame on that! DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE! Know what you want(length, type & overall look)! Research all the pros & cons so you know what you're getting into!! Most importantly make sure your tech is fully licensed/insured! The only 2 pros here is that I learned my lesson & found a professional to remove & redo everything correctly! Man I hope you guys can avoid this!! I gave you all the facts that I know because in this case I was the Lab Rat lol. Nothing but love my friends!!

No, no and NO! I know it is long, but trust me... worth it!…read more I know this salon has several services, but I can only comment on the lash service. Very unprofessional. Issue 1 - Tech cancelled hours before appt by text as she told me she was leaving the salon for good. Ok... next obvious question... can someone else see me? (Keep in mind I was going on vacation for a week the following day.) She responded, you will have to call them, I can't help you. Eventually spoke with owner as she did get me booked with someone new later that day. I had FAITHFULLY been coming every 2 weeks for fills. I told the tech that I spoke with the owner and what the agreement was since I had lost a considerable amount of lashes that I would still pay FILL price. Tech was told by owner a different price ($20 more) than what I was told earlier on call. I got over that because I needed lashes for vacation. Issue 2 - Tech texted me day of appt again a few hours prior to and cancelled due to she stated she was exposed to someone with CV. Ok... again next question, can someone else see me due to the circumstances? Response: I text others and no one has responded, could you come in tomorrow and I will see who can fit your schedule. I have a job where I have to travel at times, I was going to be out of town the next day. She then stated that if no one could do it today, then she would "be happy to take me next week once she's in the clear". Keep in mind, that was the week of Thanksgiving. As of today, still not a word from anyone there. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! Inconsiderate and unprofessional. Besides all the chaos, the lashes never stayed on well. There was a time I had to come back within a week to get them filled in again I had lost so many. Even after I changed techs, they didn't last well. Was definitely having to go every 2 weeks for fill to look somewhat normal. Best part.... found a new place and my new tech is AWESOME!!! I can literally go 3 weeks between fills easily
