The man that did my pedicure did not trim my toenails also left nail polish and wax all over my feet up to my knees. The water was cold and the towels were extremely hot. Surprised I did not get burned. Also he was rubbing my leg and in a not so professional manner, which made me feel very uncomfortable. However, the lady who did my nails Cindy was remarkable. I will come back so she can do my manicure, but I will go elsewhere for pedi from here on out. read more

I am new to the area and I am looking for a good nail tech. I read a previous review that stated Kevin was great so I booked with Kevin for a dip manicure and gel pedicure (done with Ryan). Kevin was friendly but nail service was horrendous. I left with my nails looking chunky and uneven, glue was all over my fingertips even though only one fake nail was applied and he gave me a decent size cut when attempting to cut back my cuticles. I moved from Orlando and my nail tech there is great. Her work is clean and she never cuts. When applying dip, she has her own technique where she will dip in 3 times but all thin layers. I told Kevin that I had a previous dip service but he kept telling the last next to him it was acrylic. I had to tell him again that it was not. He then said three layers is too thick but he proceeded to dip my fingers in the dip powder and leave the powder on top and not file it down, making it look chunky. Its been a little over a week and two of the dip powder is already lifting. His technique is not meant to last. The edges of the nails were not properly filed that the top finishing polish was applied unto my skin. I would not recommend Kevin. Im not sure if I would recommend the Salon. They may have some great technicians but Im not sure. read more

Tiffany is AMAZING!! I went in for eyelash extensions, which I was very apprehensive about. I had only done this one other time, and I didn't even make it home with the eyelashes. (Different salon) it felt like a caterpillar was on my eye. Anyway, this experience was so different. Tiffany listened. I told her that whatever the natural look is, I wanted even less than that. Not only did I have my phone open for her to look back at the desired look. She only looked at the photo once. I also got put with someone new to do my nails every 20 minutes. So I had to reexplain what I wanted with 4 different girls and 1 man. The corresponding fingers don't match with eachother. They charged me 92$. Insane. read more

Great experience from the phone call to inquire about service to the actual service! I especially liked that the shop was easy to access, me not being from the area. Extremely close to the hotel area! The shop was very clean and spacious. Pedicure had a selection menu, I felt like I was ordering food! Lol Also appreciate they did not nickel and dime me, pedicure off the menu and add $15 for gel polish. No additional charge for French color!!! The nail tech, was gentle, yet efficient and took his time. I did not feel like I was being rushed in any manner. The gel application surprised me, no corded machine, total portable cordless device and they took their time with the application. I'm only sorry I don't live in Daytona!!! i'm going to get this establishment one star due to the rudeness of the owner being an owner of an establishment you should be nice and warm and welcoming. I did not get that from her. As soon as I walked in she said "sit down! You can sit down!" very rudely. I got a pedicure by Kevin which was alright. The owner had to finish my polish though she cannot do the modern French tip that I asked for when I walked in the door. she proceeded to then tell me with an attitude that I should have shown them all the picture when I first came. Very disappointing experience. I liked it better when the other men worked there. at least they would've tried to do what I paid for. Probably the worst shellac French manicure I've ever experienced. The gentleman doing it had no attention to detail, and it's the first time I've paid for a manicure and just had a dab of salt scrub put in my palm and told to go wash my hands; that was the manicure part. Not 24 hours later my nails already started to chip and 4 days later and babying them I have three chipped nails and have had to re-file them myself to even them out. I've been having shellac put on consistently for over 2 years now and go a minimum of three weeks before my nails start chipping or lifting. The pedicure turned out ok, but the guy was so rough while clipping my cuticles that I had to ask him to stop; yet another first for me. Very dissatisfied. read more

The lady Bambi cut the side of my foot with the grater. Acted like she didn't do anything wrong then I told her it hurt she put some oil on it. I told the owner and he said, sorry accidents happen . Tony is the only one that I think does good nails. Some people aren't too picky about their nails but mine have to be perfect! I have discovered and told myself that I will not get my nails done there if Tony is not the one doing them... I just got 2 nails fixed and the 2 new ones (that Tony didn't do) look completely different and not to my linking... Also, my toes never last. I went to get my eyebrows waxed. At first no one was available to do them. I came back 30 minutes later and the older woman who attempted to do my eyebrows was extremely confused by my direction. I asked for her to not round them out and keep them arched. She had to get a younger woman to come in and finish the job. She touched them up a little bit and said go look. They did not wax the top of the brow. Or in the middle of the brow. She also did not apply any moisturizer after the one strip of wax that was used. Amazing!! Probably the most thorough pedicure I've ever had and for only $33. And my full set.. flawless! Coffin shape turned out perfect and there were literally HUNDREDS of gel colors to choose from.. tons of nude shades too! I'm here on vacation and was recommended by a local. When I first went to this place I though it was ok. Staff can be a little nicer and communicate more. They don't know how to be organized. My wife got her nails done and 3 days later one broke. We went to get it fixed and she has to wait 25 min before getting it done. She has 3 people hangs in between her to fix one nail. They bounce back and fourth and prioritize on how they feel they want not based on when you arrive. The manager needs to be nicer as well when customers walk in don't tell customers to have a seat acknowledge them and show more respect. The customers are making your business run! Went for a pedi and full set with a friend. Very nice people, pretty chatty and tried to engage in our personal conversations (which I am not sure if I liked or not). I must have lucked out and gotten the most inexperienced employees, though. A couple of my nails have tips that are too big and created a gap between acrylic and my nail. My skin around my toe and fingernails had paint on it, the top coat didn't cover the entire nail, and he removed ingrown toenails without asking which a) really hurt and b) bled for so long that there is dried blood in my polish.
