Unfortunately I guess the rating is so high here because of so few reviews... I should have taken that into consideration.... The pedicure began nicely but the person doing it for me had issues with communicating... I asked for a colour and it seemed they were out of it in regular polish. No one explained this to me and instead just replaced it with something else with no notifcation.... I specifically asked before continuing with my manicure if the shop had silver heart gems to achieve a look I showed in a photo. I was given an okay. When it came time I was told no by another person (I believe it was amber who I requested originally in my appt but did not get) and then tried to get me to accept a drawn heart even tho that is not what I wanted... after trying to make me accept painted heart and the woman continually scolded the man who was orignally working on me (clearly someone new? Or inexperienced?) Which made me pretty uncomfortable in its own right... they finally retrieved their various gems and such to show me... I settled because I was at the point i had no choice but to take it or leave with nothing... I dont even feel.happy taking photos of my nails... theyre a mess... paint on my skin... uneven cut... and I was knicked and caused bleeding on 3 different fingers in the process... you can see it on 2 of the 3. The 3rd is covered by the polish that was painted onto my skin and it is hurting me trying to peel it off... This cost $120. Also for whatever service you want/get they do not rush and take your money, they worry more about the perfection in the services they offer. This salon is definitely a hidden gem! Located right on Holabird, you feel far outside of the realms of Dundalk (I live here - I can say it!) when you step inside. The interior has a higher end and relaxing vibe but with pretty standard nail salon prices. The super sweet staff takes care and pride when completing your service. They even offered snacks and refreshments. Full service - manicures, pedicures, ALL the waxing, and even facials. You should definitely Happy Nail & Spa a visit if you're in the area. read more

pedicure was nice, but not my nails. it was done by a man, he didn't even clean my nails first and wipe them down or push back my cuticles... i should've said something but i dont want to assume someone doing manicures doesn't? i got french tip acrylics and they looked uneven, whatever. but they started lifting after only 2 days (from what i assume the man not doing the prep needed before). i won't be getting a manicure again from here. read more

Corona Virus Safety Protocols- Does not properly sanitize their tools after each client! Does not respect their clients preferences when asked to sanitize the materials! They will rudely recommend to go to another salon if you don't want to except their attitude! If you except to stay, they will rush their services to leave you with an unprofessional finish! I went in for a basic pedicure and gel fill in and they did an amazing job. I went in at non Friday and it was pretty slow so they worked on my nail and toes at the same time which was nice. On a basic pedicure they use the cheese grater thing to really get your callouses and they use the hot stones on your skin that feel great in addition to the hot towel. They are fairly priced i got gel in my toes and acrylic on my big toes, gel fil in in my nails and she replaced 3 nails that were coming off which cost a total of 97$ anywhere else i would of spent 120+. I also love the music they were playing it was like 2010 pop which great to hum along to while getting your nails done they also off we complementary beverage. Overall excellent service and ambiance. This will be my new nail spot. read more

I found this little gem last minute and so glad I did!! This new salon is under new ownership by the lovely Jenny. It was apparently the salon Lily if the valley nails prior but is now under the name Happy Nails & Spa. They have more coming soon!!! It's a beautiful little nail salon but offers a array of services. The other staff members are just as sweet & skilled at what they do. I was pleasantly surprised on how put together the shop was for being so new. I'm very familiar with the nail game, so I'm very picky on where I stick. She's a great owner and knows what she's doing! They have a ton of colors and different options for your nails. They also offer "Sugar nails" as well as a very new version of "Cat eye" although it looks like a galaxy type of vibe. It's gorgeous if that's your thing. I opted for the Sns manicure as I'm over the constant fills and hassle of acrylic. Which she used for a strengthening base but then topped with OPI dipping powder. Being that I had just soaked off acrylics and theybare usually so weak...she made them feel & look healthy and strong like I've never worn acrylics in the first place!!! MIND BLOWN Long nails are nice but don't fit everyone's lifestyle. And the constant trends are ridiculous. Sometimes you just want nice manicured nails!!! They went above and beyond with our services and believe I have found my new nail salon!! They also have machines to take away the usual smell that you find in most salons which is a nice touch. Along with everything mentioned, they also offer beverages including wine & snacks. Jenny & Tyler are personable, warm and very welcoming! They also have a lovely lady who did my mom's pedicure who specializes in knowing about arthritis and other issues if your legs or feet hurt. My mom was quite impressed and kept saying she couldn't believe how good it was along with not one cut! She loved the hot stones!! She had the jelly pedicure and will never look back. While my dip manicure looks like it's going to last for awhile I can't wait to go again!! It no longer feels like upkeep.. I actually enjoyed it!! Worth the drive out of the city but didn't once feel like I was in the county!! BONUS Often I venture out trying to find a salon that has everything I want but doesn't charge a arm and a leg just for "maintenance" but always find it falls short. This was best of both worlds.
