    Delicious, fresh, burger combo
    K K.

American, Mexican, Italian food all in one place.... Nothings frozen or from cans. Everything taste great and portions are large. The cheese burger combo comes with onion rings and fries, and salad. It's $18 and definitely enough for two. Burger patties are so good, you know you are eating a real burger. The owner is so sweet and offers great service. Open till 9.

Amazing service and delicious fare!!!!! Such a variety. Sweet and savory all in one place!!!!

Buttered Wheat toast. Spinach, ham, cheese omelet. Hash browns. Side of sausage

This review is only for takeout. I've been meaning to hit this place up for breakfast and finally had the chance. Called for carryout. Was told 10 min. I was there in 6 and order was waiting for me. I ordered ham, cheese & spinach omelet (it comes with hash browns). Also I got a side of 3 sausage links. Food was great! Not greasy at all. Only complaint; if it is one, is I thought the hash browns could have been more .....brown lol. $31.23 includes the 5 dollar tip. Hey it is what is. Expensive. But it's way better than Fantastic Cafe across the street. As long as I get what I pay for I'm good. All in all this place is a solid 4 maybe even 5 star for some ppl.

She was right, 2 taco plates for $25. Three generous size tacos and chips. I had the baja fish and he had the shrimp tacos. We had great service from Alex and were excited to dine there again as this is 5 minutes from our house. We went back a week or so later on a Thursday night, we were seated promptly and then we waited for over 20 minutes to be acknowledged, offered water or to place our order. Instead we watched the server clean tables (there were plenty available), chit chat with staff at the bar and be in the kitchen for quite a period of time. No "I'll be right with you - nothing". We were ready to get up and leave and he finally came by to see what we wanted to drink. We decided to place our order because who knows when he would be back. I had the BBQ Chicken Salad which was delicious, he had a burger which was meh. The broiche bun was dry and was unbalanced (the top was thick and the bottom barely there) which made it fall apart when you ate it. I'm not sure that we are willing to give it another try with so many other great choices nearby. We tried......

Normally, I put Tapatio on my hash browns and use the eggs, bacon and toast to make a mini breakfast sandwich. Today, the red salsa was perfect for the hash browns. The green salsa on the eggs were so good that I did not make my usual mini breakfast sandwich. I ended up just eating the eggs with the green salsa. Service was extremely friendly. Before the end of my meal, the chef asked me if I enjoyed my meal. JDH is located in a small strip mall so parking is limited. I was fortunate enough to find parking around the corner in the residential area. JDH has a small dining area with about six tables. JDH definitely has that warm mom and pop dining feel.

Ample lettuce and a fresh tomato slice. The turkey they used was high quality and felt like real turkey meat vs. packaged turkey meat. I like when I can sense the grain of the meat. Delicious sourdough bread, toasted and crunchy. It's easy to eff up a turkey sandwich, but they didn't. The side of onion rings was crispy and golden, just the way I like my onion rings with a side of ranch. Ranch sauce was toothsome. You can get fries instead if you don't want onion rings. Their menu is also kind of small, but mighty. I am guessing their other menu items are just as decent judging by the responses. Service was friendly and personable. Felt like a mom and pop establishment that's a hole-in-the-wall size. Support small business in San Pedro. Their prices are reasonable too.

I like the front entrance. They also have a side entrance but it's not as appealing to the eyes. A handful of tables outside in a patio area with a couple of TVs. When you walk in, it's like walking into a wine bar. At least that's the vibe I received. But it's a small family restaurant. Which is dope. Look like I arrived just in time for happy hour. The bar area gives this chill and intimate vibe especially with the many wine bottles being displayed. And the bartender is right there to service you with no problems. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Even the two older women who didn't decide to speak until Barbara the bartender sat a bit late of fried calamari in front of me lol. That indeed sparked great conversation amongst the 3 of us. Talking about calamari and sone other restaurants. I'm used to drinking my Moscow Mules out of copper cups so this grey one was different and it was smaller in size but the drink itself was definitely refreshing. Wasn't tryna rush it lol. And It's $7.20 during happy hour. The calamari for me could have been seasoned better or more. I also would've preferred it to be fried a lil bit longer. I love mines crispy or a lil bit hard and not so chewy. With that being said, Barbara said to let them know next time. However, I believe it's a popular item and I could see why, especially with the portion size. It's very generous indeed. For $10.80 I would too. Barbara made me a Mojito and it was perfect. Very refreshing. Took my time with that also lol. A price of $7.20 you can't beat that at all. Very good price I must add. I personally think and feel like the filet mignon tacos were fire. No lie. It was tender. It was flavorful. Good portion size. I liked the presentation and flavors coming from everything. They're not street tacos either lol I would definitely get those again but I think they're only available during happy hour. 2 tacos for $10.80 during happy is an awesome deal. Before I left I thanked everyone for their service and even had the opportunity to chop it up with some staff members. Everyone was real cool. Fasho fasho. Barbara even introduced me to the chef on my way out. I believe his name is Angel. Great dude !!! and we also had a great conversation. I love the location. I love the service. I love the vibes and I love the food. Check em out for yourself if you're in the area or just wanna take a ride to somewhere new. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
