Decent breakfast fare attached to a hotel This was the food location for the hotel I stayed at in San Pedro. The staff were very friendly but were very easily overwhelmed when people would come out of their room for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is very much your standard hotel affair. They allow either a buffet or a single item off their regular menu with any drinks you would like. We ordered exclusively from the menu to get the freshest items. Servers were very friendly, but the amount of people made it almost impossible for them to keep up. This place needs more help during the morning hours to handle the amount of orders coming in. This lead to a lot of delays and clear corner cutting when possible. Which is a shame, cause the food is actually not bad for the quality of ingredients given. The chef knows how to season and balance flavors. The problem is the ingredients. Even the most talented chefs can only do so much with powdered eggs and cheese slices. But they do try, and the fresh ingredients are treated with care. I feel that if the chef was given more responsibility for their ingredients and more staff to help with the flurry of orders, then this place could shine. The potential is there, but as of right now it's lacking.

Good drinks and no driving. Perfect pairing. Restaurant here too which we are trying to perfect night to visit when cruising the next day. Only 5 mins from marina.

The bar has a nice selection of appetizers and happy hour drinks. Gets busy with cruise passengers but service is quick. Great place to start a cruise from the day before you embark on the ship.

If you are in the area, this is a great place for happy hour drinks. It's near the port/cruise terminal.

This little breakfast buffet opens at 6:30 am. They do have a little menu but only for to go items. What we had was really good. They had regular scrambled eggs and scrambled eggs with cheese and possibly ham. They have cubes potatoes and fried onions and bell peppers. Pancakes, sausage Pattie's, crisp bacon and link sausage. They also have toast, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, some fruit, yogurt, and a lunch meat assortment. Coffee and orange juice are included in the price for $21. Service was great, coffee was never empty and it was really good coffee. Seating was very comfortable and it was clean and well stocked. Danie was the gentleman who took us to our table and he never stopped the whole time we were there. Great experience

Came during happy hour and overlapped into dinner service. The bartenders were super nice. Food was way better than expected. Definitely worth dining here.

This restaurant/bar is located inside of the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro. I was there for work. Bar is quite nice so is the seating. On the weekends it gets pretty packed but during the week it's normal and not so busy. They do get a rush, depending on when the cruise liners dock in the bay. Bartenders are awesome and so is the staff. One of the main managers likes to have drinks there. He was a regional manager traveling and was attending to the restaurant. Me and my coworkers ended up, chopping it up with him. We got a couple of free drinks and honestly, the ambience was amazing. Had a bunch of beers and my favorite food was the lemon garlic Parmesan wings. I've never had them taste so amazing like these. Decent food as well. The other day I had the steak. All in all this is a great place to have a few drinks and some bar food.

This restaurant is located in the Crown Plaza hotel that we stayed in while visiting San Pedro. The best Huevos Rancheros is from this restaurant! What so good about this is the way the presented it in front of my face plus the ingredients they mixed in. I didn't know that avocado is allowed in Huevos Rancheros? Do you know about this? The black bean was one of the best. That sauce mixing with black bean was a reason I gave this place four stars. They made quality huevos rancheros and I approved this. When I said I wanted my sunnyside up well done in the bottom, they got it right. The next time I came for breakfast I tried the buffet but honestly, I prefer my huevos rancheros more than anything else at this restaurant. The buffet offers lox, egg benedict, bacon and sausage, pancake and waffle, bagel and french toast, good coffee and juice, etc. Greg, the waiter was really good but he was the only one working, so the service took a little time to process. Again, for the second time, I left my purse and when I went upstairs to the room, Greg called to let me know that he has my purse. Wow! Greg saved me! Thank you! I must have been hypnotized by all the food that made me forget to take my purse back with me. Hubby and I only came here for breakfast. We passed by the restaurant at night and didn't see a lot of people here due to the location that is so close to many local restaurants.

Iron City Tavern -- San Pedro's Embassy of Pittsburgh…read more Walked into Iron City Tavern expecting a beer. Walked out three hours later knowing a guy named Tony's divorce history, the proper way to make a cheesesteak, and why the Steelers would've won in 2004 if the refs weren't apparently involved in an international conspiracy. The décor can best be described as "Pittsburgh sports memorabilia meets San Pedro uncle's garage." There are TVs everywhere, and I'm reasonably certain changing one away from a Steelers game is legally classified as aggravated assault. The regulars immediately know you're not a regular because they've apparently been occupying the same barstools since the Clinton administration. Give it twenty minutes, though, and somebody will buy you a beer, explain which bartender you should never piss off, and introduce you to six people whose names you'll forget immediately. Then there's the food. You order a cheesesteak thinking, It's a neighborhood bar--how good could it possibly be? Annoyingly good. Now you're sitting there at 1:17 p.m. on a Wednesday eating a sandwich the size of a driveshaft, drinking your second beer and wondering how this became your afternoon. Service appears to operate under the traditional San Pedro system: If they like you, you're family. If they don't know you yet, give it a minute. If you're an asshole, there's probably another bar down the street. Dress code: whatever you were wearing when you decided you needed a beer. Reservations: Craft cocktail presentation: absolutely not. Properly poured drink: you bet your ass. Overall, Iron City isn't trying to be an Instagram bar. It's the kind of place where the bartender remembers what you drink, the guy next to you has an extremely detailed opinion about football, and there's a legitimate possibility you came in for lunch and somehow stayed for dinner. 5/5 -- Would accidentally become a regular.

Someone at the bar mentioned I should get the sauce on the side because they end up soggy. I had no issues with them personally. They're not breaded wings which was a nice change. *I believe cornstarch is involved. The buffalo isn't spicy, it's buttery. There's room at the bar, a side bar, and they have half-circle booths that would be perfect for groups. Bonus points for the hospitality. =)

Not because it was featured on a news segment, or something similar, but because I saw it on an episode of Monk. It was used as a background prop. Funny what writing helps you remember, and hopefully what you remember is good stuff. Before I stepped into this bar, I expected it to be a Diver bar, in the grittiest sense, but I was wrong, it is a Dive bar in the most exciting of ways: It is a collection of tchotchkes (a fancy word for trinkets) that when admired as a whole and then independently give this place a whimsical personality. Imagine having a friend that when invited to a pool party wears a bikini with a fun print--- like cherries or flamingos, and is always down for a shot and playful mayhem. Being around this type of personality amps up the party soul of a moment because their vibe is that of a buzz-nurturer. Meaning that when I was in the bar, and all it has to offer, made me want to have a good time, regardless of what I carried in from the outside. The place gives immediate Tiki Bar vibes but does not carry the moment to full fruition. For example, in my pictures I show curtains with Tiki Idols, and a light fixture adorn with its own hula skirt but the Tiki motif does not transport one to a Luau where dancers sway as they wait for a pig to finish roasting. Instead, the Tiki vibes are sharply contrasted with posters and other keepsakes that are both aspiration and life lessons. For instance, one reminds us to leave your drama outside. Another hanging placard lists advisories that (straight) men should adhere when hitting on women. One of these is the fact that some women's sexual preference is NO. Another poster explains what happens when girls drink too much. One of the 10 outcomes is that women confuse the kitchen floor for their mattress when laying down. Like I said, all of these small and bigger touches combine to give this place a personality that draws one to have a good time. For me, there were two standout items in the place- 1) a jukebox and a 2) pool table. I was with three people that played pool better than me. One of them explained the purpose of a chalk mound. One is suppose to rub the place between their thumb and index finger to get chalk right in there. Then rub the chalk on the stick. This will create less friction which will help you shoot better. I did all that. This moment also allowed me and another member of my group to have a lot of hard wood jokes-- what are you going to do, we were having a good time at this place, and these jokes felt right. The jukebox was also free. I played Ariana Grande's version of Popular from Wicked and I felt the song. I was warbling loudly, and off key, and dancing because I was feeling the tune and the drinks. At the end, some of the people in the bar clapped and hollered. I went to put in another song I was stopped, the regulars were watching football on a Sunday, go figure. That is the thing about this bar, it is a regular's bar. People knew each other, people knew I was the first timer. Like when I spoke, two or three people answered my question. When I was looking for the key a customer directed me to it. So this place is definitely a place where regulars are at. And if you know anything about dive bar culture, regulars who know each other make a community. So you will need to navigate these dynamics if you attend. For instance, one of my friends was in the bathroom, doing the business of two. A regular opened the door and my friend was like, I am here, closed the door. The regular did not close the door, instead he made a joke about leaving the door just a bit open, while being a bro about it. I was horrified just being a witness. But between bar flies these type of jokes might be understood as joyful. But it would take me an alternate life to find humor in potty politics. I was introduced to the White Tea shot and it has become my new shot so this place left a mark on my taste buds. The shot at the end had this strong green tea taste. The prices were right too! I can't wait to go here again, when the party vibe calls me forth! Oh and it is cash only, unless you spend 40 and above then it is card appropriate.

I called in the order. The staff was friendly on the phone and helpful in choosing my meal while I sat in 405/110 traffic. I ordered the chicken kebab plate: (1) chicken skewer, rice, grilled tomato/jalapeño, pita, hummus and tzatziki. I was skeptical at the price of $25, but thought this has got to be good with all these great reviews. I was told 15 minutes. I walked in the restaurant after 22 minutes and she asked for another 5 minutes, so I ordered a beer and sat at the bar. There were 2 sorry tables, 6 people dining total. It's a beautiful delicately decorated restaurant, white and gold accents. They have beer and wine only. From the looks of it, they have some nice wines and sparkling wine only by the bottle. I did not fully understand the menu, it seemed like it was confused about the genre of cuisine and lacked an identity in my opinion. It took her a couple minutes to get the beer and the food came out very shortly after. When I removed the contents of the bag at home, I was immediately disappointed. The portions are quite small. Any place I've ever ordered a kebab plate, there's been plenty of food for two meals, because I eat small portions. That was not the case for this restaurant and at such a high cost. And on top of that, the food was lukewarm, and I only drove to my destination less than five minutes away nor did I stay to finish my beer. I called to ask about the pita cause I couldn't find it in the bag. She said it was below the rice, and I asked oh that's an interesting way to serve it...Is there a reason for that and she said it soaks up the grease of the chicken, and it's much more flavorful to dip in the hummus and tzatziki. The hummus and Taziki are in a 1 ounce plastic ramekin. The tzatziki was good, but the hummus had no flavor and with oily. The pita is below the rice making it appear that there is more food than actually exists in the smallest to go container. The pita was in fact saturated with grease, and had that rancid turned grease taste. I also realized the meat is not chicken breast but chicken thigh, and although it was tender, it lacked flavor. The rice, lacked flavor, the tomato and jalapeño were not seasoned or ripe, and the hummus also flavorless and greasy. After spending $45 on a chicken kebab plate with a beer, small portions and such bland flavors, this is not a place I'll return too. They seem to be very well liked and I'm happy for them.

The service was really upbeat and friendly and our server was so kind and helpful. We asked him if the espresso martini had dairy in it (which I just discovered that is a thing at some places) and he double checked with the bartender to ensure there wasn't my dairy in it! I ordered that alongside a falafel wrap I must say, both of these worked so well together. The espresso martini was light and refreshing yet still had a bold flavor. The falafel was nice and crispy with a delectable inside and the tahini sauce was so rich and creamy. The meal felt indulgent yet hearty all at the same time. But. then a much larger group came and stood in front of us who had a 4pm reservation. We didn't think much of it and were waiting patiently until 3:30 and 4pm were called up first and seated before us. It wasn't even 4pm yet! Made security aware of his mistake and we barely got an apology. I let it go and still had to wait more time to be seated. So then we get seated, it takes 30 mins to just get water. No one has came around to take our order or say they will be with us in a few, nothing. As we are waiting another party of 2 come and sit next to us. They waited half the time and were helped before us!!! Welp, it gets worse you just wait. We get our food first, still no drinks. Drinks got there much later. Well, I started to eat my food cause I didn't want it to get cold. Not time to wait for drinks water will do. I bite into my pot pie it was barely warm. I decide to keep eating it until i got to end of the bite and that's when i got cold juice and the dough was mushy. I made the waitress aware (she had just taken over our table) and she put in another order. Not even 5 mins later, I get my second order. I noticed one bit was a little burnt on top but whatever at this point i'm not trying to ruin the experience for my friend. I go to pull apart my 2 bites and i notice the reason why they were stuck. The dough was RAW and the chicken inside was FROZEN. I had my friend poke it because i was shocked and couldn't belive this BS. Called the waitress over she was really sorry and i showed her how i couldn't even cut into the chicken and you could see the ice on the chicken. She offered to bring out another order but I was done. I didn't want to be disrespected yet again by this establishment. She said she would have the manager come talk to me. I didn't really care to do so but he came. He came to the table a little strong and aggressive. Telling me he actually touched the bite and it was WARM. My friend and I sat there SHOCKED! We all poked it and felt it ICE COLD!!!! So, basically calling me a liar to my face. He's telling me he will get another order out, I refused. I told him I would only pay for the 2 drinks and 1 order of the pot pies. He kept going on about how it was only the second day and he didn't hire enough staff and blah blah blah. I don't mind waiting i'm okay with that. But when others are seated before me and waited before me, then the food went from cold to FROZEN. I have a damn problem. He should've saved his "apology", if you can call it that. He did cover our 3 items which was the least he would do after all disrespect i've endured. I sat there waiting for my friend to finish her food and we finished drinks and left. Cindy our waitress took over after the first waitress left to lunch. She was really nice and none of this was her fault. I asked if I could tip her and she refused and said we didn't have to. I wanted to so I did. I insisted! At this point, the manager came around the corner and i could hear him on her about the tip. I had to intervene and tell him I WANTED TO DO THIS FOR HER. He was really out of line with her!!! She was trying to explain to him that i insisted on tipping and he was not listening to her! Get a new manager. This guy is not a people person. He's a gaslighting individual who has now cost you loyal customer. Days ago I get one of your loyal customer emails. Nice way of treating your loyal customers. P.S. It was very obvious who they wanted to seat & serve first and it wasn't the Latina and Black girl.

This was my first visit to La Siciliana and I would definitely come back. There is metered parking…read moreon the street. We arrived early for lunch and there was no one in the restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly woman who took us to our table. Inside the restaurant, it's very bright and clean with a minimalist appearance. It wasn't too fancy. The menu had a great selection, they had a great wine selection as well. We were served sliced bread with olive oil to start. We ordered the lasagna Bolognese and the lobster ravioli. Both portions were perfect. The lasagna was incredible with loads of flavor. The lobster ravioli was not fishy, and I love the sauce that it came in. I would have enjoyed a little more taste of the lobster, but it was there. Overall, I would definitely return. I hope to try a dessert next time I go. We were just too stuffed to have anything else. Gotta try this place!

I can't believe it took me so many years to try this place! There are several really good Italian…read morerestaurants in San Pedro. This is my new favorite! It tastes like I'm back in Rome. Well balanced, bold flavors, fresh, quality ingredients. I've tried their chicken Parmesan, Caesar salad, bruschetta, Seabass piccata, and spaghetti and meatballs. All were excellent! A perfect amount of garlic, pasta was not overcooked, al dente, like I like it, with rich delicious flavors.
