Convenient location, with pretty good service, and a lovely ambiance. I liked my breakfast omelet but my friend's omelet was swimming in cheese. The chips were nice and fresh the salsa was good. A margarita flight was something I haven't tried before and loved 3 out of the 4 flavors - with hibiscus as my favorite fallowed by the cucumber. A great location with a great concept. I met a friend for lunch on a Wednesday and it was relatively empty. We got seated right away and had fast service. Chips and salsa came out and was very tasty. Really disappointed with our experience we came a little before 3. When there brunch ends and we knew exactly what we wanted. We asked if they were still doing bottomless mimosas and they said no. Which we were okay with but since they couldn't offer us that option we asked if it was possible to order a bottle of champagne with oj since they couldn't accommodate our bottomless mimosas even tho it was before 3 pm but they still wanted to charge for Oj. If brunch says it ends at 3 I think they should have honored that. Seeing that the restaurant was pretty empty. This is my second time going to Kalaveras first time I came was because I had to stay in San Pedro for an event. When I walked in I noticed that the ambience was good but the food seemed to be barley warm especially the burritos the sushi was good though that's a plus we said we wouldn't go here again but we came back and round two was the same like during round 1 there was barley enough staff so our services delayed such as us getting a seat and getting an waiter when we sat down we didn't get our complimentary chips and salsa that everyone got which was rude like did they forget about us which is crazy since we spent so much money here and went here twice. read more

I've come both on the weekend and during the work week and haven't had any issues getting a table. During this visit, I ordered the Kala burrito lunch special. It's $3 less than the dinner price, and it includes diablo sauce and a side of beans. The Kala burrito is one of my favorite items on the menu. Went for taco Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised. Taco Tuesday consist of all their tacos being $1.49 except for the seafood. You place an order for the amount of tacos you want and then you go inside and they have a taco bar where they give you the meat and you put your own toppings. The Barbacoa and Asada were really tasty and you can't go wrong at that price. They also have a great happy hour menu, I got the queso Birria and it was pretty dang good and the right proportion for a single person. Margaritas are on happy hour as well and I got the cucumber and it is the best. I highly suggest it. Happy hours goes until 7pm and taco Tuesday is on Tuesday and they also have a margarita Monday. My wife and I came for their Sunday brunch. We arrived around 10:30am. Only 1 other table was occupied. We picked our table and sat toward the corner by a side door near restroom. Inside is nicely decorated and clean. We both got bottomless mimosas. But they don't bring a champagne bottle, it is premixed and in a pitcher they use to refill your glass. The food was OK. The enchiladas were small, and were dry. Maybe out too long. The chile rellenos were one of my favorites, really good. Beans and rice are good. Taco bar is very good.
