So I looked up fish and chips on Yelp and this place popped up and it was indoors so we chose this spot instead. The staff very nice and polite. The inside of the restaurant was clean and had a very cozy feeling to it. My friend and I got our fish and chips and I even tried their Cesar salad and clam chowder, both very delicious!

Stood in line at the buffet. Your choices were salad, rice, beans, enchiladas, and tacos. Provided meats were Carne Asada, Chicken, and Pork. Salsas, salt, pepper, silverware and plate settings. To my surprise, all was very good. Customer service was friendly and helpful. No complaints. Great buffet! Overall the food and service was good. Cool place to dine. We were sitting on the right side of the restaurant. Outside Patio. Looks like that side of the restaurant was not complete. It was half constructed with bare wood. The vibe was cool. The dissapointing part of this restaurant is the parking. Parking sucks! You would have to park 3 to 4 blocks away from the restaurant. Regardless, what matters is the place is clean, has good food and service. Restrooms are acceptable.

Like most French bistro they have a shorter but traditional menu, with the usual suspects - onion soup, pate, escargot, charcuterie board, mussels, steak frites, Bouillabaisse - but what drew us in was the duck confit cassoulet. We have eaten cassoulet in Carcasonne, the home of cassoulet, and this was definitely worthy of the name. Gamey, savoury, duck falling off the bone, beans swimming in an umami broth, definitely lip lickingly good. However the vegetarian cassoulet was not as flavourful, it was nice, but needed more garlic, pepper, some herbs or seasoning, a little more oomph. The fennel was delish, but the beans bordering on bland and there was very little broth to dip my baguette into. With a belly full of beans we decided to order dessert because why not! Life is short, eat dessert, c'est la vie. Creme brulee was creamy with a tappingly good sugar crust, and the chocolate mousse had a nice consistency but was overwhelmed by cinnamon, which was a pity. It was definitely worth the visit for the Duck cassoulet, and we will visit again to try the onion soup and moules.

They also often have live acoustic music, which I really enjoy. One small downside: it can get loud when busy, so with a larger group it's sometimes hard to talk across the table. Last night they absolutely nailed the food, as usual and the restaurant was not too loud. We started with Harpo's Garlic Bread, the Squash Blossoms, and the Local Calamari "New Style," all excellent starters. For mains, the Tomahawk Pork Chop was juicy and well prepared, the Sausage Cavatelli was hearty and flavorful, the Chicken Parmesan was crispy, cheesy and satisfying, and the Swordfish Milanese was a really nice preparation. The Hand Cut Fries, Baby Romaine Salad, and BLT Salad rounded everything out nicely. One tip: if you know you want wine, consider bringing a good bottle. Corkage is $25 per bottle, which can make a lot of sense. Our server, Noe D., did a very nice job. I was especially impressed with our table assistant, Kevin A., friendly, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. I also had the chance to meet Edgar on the management side, who was new to me. Thanks to the Dockside team for another great night. Great food, real San Pedro character, live music, and people who make you feel welcome.

Every recommendation she made was spot on, and whatever she shook up behind that bar should probably come with a warning label because it was that good. This place has that neighborhood hangout feel where everybody seems welcome, the food comes out hot, and the drinks keep showing up exactly when they should. Between the fries, the wings, the sundae, and Sloan's hospitality, I'd say this place earned itself a regular customer. -Health, wealth, and extra cheese to everyone involved.

It can get crowded on weekends and the worst part is having to wait in line for the elevator. The elevators are quite small and when everyone's trying to get to the rooftop bar, it can feel like you're waiting at a club just to get into the elevator. The bartenders are really cool and on weekends they have a DJ. No one really dances but it's nice to have the vibe. Definitely one of my favorite places in Long Beach right now.

I think it's only obvious that the staff from this bar has given it 5 star or their friends to make them look good. No place in San Pedro is 5 star worthy. And yes obvious because I seen a comment from their worst bartender on here the blonde chick named SEDONA . Seriously you guys need better quality bartenders that know how to actually make a drink and not have a bitchy attitude. If you signed up to be a bartender it's your job to deal with people so put that messed up attitude away and deal with it. Not going to say all your bartenders are bad because you also do have some good ones. Theres another blonde with tattoos who is super friendly and very aware of customers along with another white girl ( brown hair) blue eyes that works with her I forget her name . they work friday nights . I hope the owner of this place somehow reads these comments and addresses the issue because you are losing business with poor quality people working behind that bar. My friends and I would go about 10-15 people deep each time and now we've decided to not go here anymore until that chick is removed or she's not working. I have to say I have had my good nights there and not so good. I love going Friday nights when a blonde girl with tattoos and another white girl with blue eyes are working they are the BEST . Definitely visit them I still have to figure out their names haha I have also been on saturday nights and well I really don't recommend it . there is a black girl working saturdays that takes forever to serve drinks last time my friend had to literally walk to the other side of the bar just to get her attention ( why would anybody hire a black girl in san pedro ? ) and there is also another little white girl with short hair that is terrible so yeah I'd recommend to not visit saturdays unless those two aren't working but we are not psychics so we won't know . music is great I love the feel the Djs give it makes you feel like you're in a club when you're really not . they even have dancers. I give this place 3 stars just because of those two good bartenders on fridays . I think this place would be more fun if they had a dance floor read more

here's the thing about this place , it can be fun and it can also be not so much fun depending on who your bartender is. most are friendly and welcoming and some can be non welcoming with rude attitudes that make you not even want to spend a dollar in there. I've been going to this place for some time now and I never really see any changes made no improvement besides what it looks like inside. by imrovement I mean no new girls with positive attitudes. I hate going into places where you have rude , bitchy bartenders. or bartenders that do not know how to even make a drink the right way if this place would hire experienced grls then it would make a visit much pleasent and your money worth. not going to lie you do have good girls in there theyre is one little blonde one that is sooooo rude makes you just wanna jump over and slap her for once which im sure it's bound to happen from someone but yes definitely make changes the owner must be really dumb to not see that . I live in the South Bay area and have been going out to LA and Hollywood for night life, since there seems to be nothing pop'n in the area...I found out about Crimsin from a friend who lives in Pedro and goes there a lot. We went as a mixed group (Guys &Gals) one night and I have to say wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Its probably one of the coolest places your gonna get in the south bay. Granted they have a dress code, but its not that big a deal, They have a really good selection of top shelf booze here. The girls ordered some girly TY KU concoction and I tried it for the heck of it and it was pretty good, not too sweet and perfectly blended by a bartender who obviously knew what he was doing... This place never really gets packed, so if your the type of person who requires a massive crowd to have fun, this may not be the place for you, but I had fun! probably go back again and save the gas from the drive to LA read more

This is such a great place to go in San Pedro. It's not like all other other bars on 6th street and the surrounding areas. The gang banger to normal people ratio is a lot lower (if existent at all) than some of its direct competitors. They actually have a wide selection of liquor and a crazy number of beers! I wish they had a cocktail list, but that's not that big of a deal. I loved how cold the glasses were for the tap beer, ice dripping off them! There was a really nice (short, dirty blonde) bartender who thanked me by last name when I closed out my tab and even remembered my name and drink order the next time I came in! 5 stars! The atmosphere is always changing and the jukebox really helps tailor to each person's experience here. Makes you feel like your own personal bar. Annabelle is now on location Wednesdays from 9pm to 2am. Fridays and Saturdays she works depending on special engagements, but you may call call to verify that night if working. Annie being Xmas top bartender in the San Pedro City. Pool table is located in back where you can find Xmas practicing, Annabelle being the current Mix Drink Specialist and Manhattan Champion. It's not exactly Hollywoood, but not everybody wants the Hollywood experience. It's pretty good spot for the location and there are bartenders and dancers. It's a cute little spot that I guess I would say is worth checking out. How can one give the place 5 stars when it's not a 5 star kind of club. Still it's a good place to come with some friends and get drinks. Sometimes the staff is cool and sometimes they are kinda busy. I suppose it's hit or miss, but just as that's the case with any place. At least they have djs and you can see some cute chicks dancing the night away. That basically makes it worth it in my mind. My friends were sailing into San Pedro harbor off the Mexico cruise line and I really wanted to see them, even if it were for a few hours. Not knowing where to go in Pedro, I relied on Yelp to help me find the right place. That's were I found Crimsin on 6th street. So my friends hi tailed in a taxi and we met for drinks, fun, good music and a fantastic bartender, Niko. The drinks were delicious, delicious. Totally a fair price, music good too. this place is an absolute dump. a couple of my friends and me went to finish our night and ended up here, worst decision ever. ive heard some negative reviews about this place in the past, but i figured we'd give it a chance. the drinks are expensive and the bartenders act like the liquor comes out of their paychecks; they were completely inattentive, the seats were sticky and so were the tables, no one came to wipe them down. Seriously?! who is running this place and why isn't it shut down yet? the bathrooms smell like an outhouse it's definitely not a classy place. it's meant for low class ghetto people. read more

definitely one of the worst "bars" I have ever been into . service sucked and there were all these wanna be gangsters with shorts and san pedro shirts trying to hit on me and my friends and that includes the security there too such perverts. the prices on drinks were too expensive for that dive bar. here's the funny part , they have ugly girls dancing up on some sort of stage or something and the dj sucked definitely would not recomment this place . my girls and I went next door to san pedro brew co. we had a much better time there our night got saved thanks to that brew co read more

Ok, this is one of those 'we would like to be in hollywood except we don't feel like driving' kind of places. It's a touch of hollywood in San Pedro. This is a wonderful place. I used to patronize Jules' Rebel's. I love to go here at night after work. Jules and the rest of the staff are friendly and hardworking. I visited from Texas. I had credit cards on me. They accept cash only…read more They make no mention before you order. I tried to pay with card and they told me no cards are accepted. I try to get cash, but my debit card got blocked from the previous restaurant charge which I had to settle via phone to reopen it. I needed more time to get it resolved. As I am trying to resolve, the psycho bartender tells me to leave. I have never been more insulted for as this encounter. What the did I do wrong. Try and get my debit card fixed to pay for the drinks. The blond girl bartender insulted me regarless of my efforts to resolve the issue. The bearded guy ( maybe security ) came out side and threatened to call police. I said please call them as I am not trying to decieve anyone. This all occurred the late eveing of 9/29/2026. I would have done anything to make this situation ok, they decided to humiliate me and threaten me. They choose to call me names and insult me. As a previous professional bartender in San Francisco Bay Area for 8 years I would consider this behavior unacceptable. In fact it was disturbing and insane. I advise caution when vistiting this place.

However, im big on C.S. 3 bartenders maybe 1 or 2 servers I think. All three bartenders was behind the Bar all looked at me, 2 walked passed me. No one greeted me for 15 mins. I'm the only one at the Bar with only a menu in front of them. EVERYONE else had a drink and I'm solo. I'm hotttttt. One guy finally came took my order after I stared them down. I timed them. Now this isn't he only time I experienced this here. So imma chalk it up to life. So this is wild. Dude that took my drink order came asked me if I was ready to order food! Through no fault of the restaurant, the outdoor area was extremely loud, and although we tried to watch the FIFA game outside, we couldn't hear the TV over the celebration. The food was great, and I'd definitely return. Our experience was just a little less relaxing than we had hoped due to the timing and noise level of the event.

For you see, as I passed the outside of the Artistry a comedian/MC stopped me and explained that the spot was having a comedy night. Truth be told, comedy shows are simply not my choice of sport. However, the MC tried to convince me of the value of the show with an honest attempted that I respected. And thus I paid the 5.00 dollars and entered, I was ready to laugh and hope that the comedians would fulfill the hope. Additionally, entering the Artistry would provide me a lounge to wait for my friend that was coming to pick me up, in about an hour or so. As soon, as I entered the Artistry I was pleasantly surprised. It was a cool, inviting, elegant spot that was hidden from sight. It is the type of place that you only find when the winds of chance whisk you into a moment that impact and build your life. I will be the first one to admit that the winds of chance did not take me to Oz from Kansas, but they did take me to a welcome respite of people and opportunity. And at a more grounded level, I know now where to go if I have a wine-friend visit or I need a non-rowdy bar for peace and quiet. The place is a mash-up of modern appliances, contemporary art and pieces from days gone by. It is both eclectic and like a backyard sale of a Hollywood starlet. She accumulated trophies and bobbles of worth and next to the mat they are displayed on, you also see the junk she accumulated thought-out her life. In one of my pictures I show a tv that played maybe operatic music. It was signing with word that hit a deep range. This picture also has one of those fans that no longer have blades. The wind comes from an oval shape--- modern science. Another picture shows a Native American picture with a full headdress. It would be dynamic on a runway. Another picture shows a painting that seemed to be one of those famous food stills. So yeah, the collection that makes up the them decor is broad. I can only describe it as a wine cellar that was decorated by three friends, each of them with their own style. The friends were also young, like early 20s, so their taste and vision had not crystallized within them so there was no way they could take their three styles and make it one song in the same key. I also noticed that the menu had the word with misspelled. The typo added to the magic and hodgepodge of the place. Maria who works there, was a gem, a treasure, and the Hope diamond. I twisted my ankle a bit and it hurt to move, hence the stroll around town and not a hike to reach a top. I asked her to pour me a glass of water because I was sitting down, and getting up to reach the table, would make the pain amp up. She served me water and I apologized for being too needy as a customer who had become a patient. She then asked me if she could move the table closer to me. I said yes. She struggled a bit to move a table that looked like barrel, with a glass atop, and seemed to be full of wine corks, but it might have been just a layer that suggested fullness. She still managed to push the table. Now I could easily stretch and drink water. I thanked her for her work and kindness. And she said something so beautiful at it is core: I am here to serve. Thank you Maria for being of service. I ordered a fruity wine. I am not a wine drinker. The server suggested that one. Once I tasted it, it tasted like juice. The server compared it to a Capri Sun. Yeah, it kind of was. Then I drank more and I did not like it. I asked myself why? Like what specifically made me not like this wine? And all I could come up with was, "it tasted cheap." I felt bad for just describing something as cheap without further detail. Then I saw the bill. The wine was only 10.00 dollars. So it was a cheap wine. I mean right now, given inflation, what cocktail or pour is less than 10:00 dollars? A cheap one. And when I say cheap it does not mean that it lacks richness or attire from a brand name store. When I say that it is cheap I mean that it did not have depth of experience. It was cheap in the way that cheap perfume is, it does not have a layered complicated presence or scent and what it offers is lack of nuance, personality, hype and posture. Like cheap furniture, it's promise and function are soon broken. I would go here and try other wines. And who knows maybe one day I will find one that makes me a wine convert.

I wish the people were more friendly, but they were mostly Mexicans and have no love for 'Blacks' Latino or otherwise. I even wore a nice dress shirt with tge word 'Honduras', on it. Not like the East coast were 'Black' Latinos are more common.
