Biscoff cookie milk tea: I wanted to try this out since it sounded interesting and I'm a big fan of biscoff cookies. The flavor was good, but the drink was a little too grainy from the cookies mixed in. I think this could be really good blended up as a slush instead. Ube slush: This was soooo good. I got 50% sweetness and that was perfect. I would definitely get this again and I want to try other slush flavors. Hung out around this area (Americana) and really wanted some boba and this was the most promising one so we decided to check it out! Parking is pretty bad around here, all paid parking, meters, etc. unless you are at the Glendale Mall which has a free parking structure thankfully. We got lucky with a metered parking spot around the corner so we walked over. Not busy at all, we were the only customers there and this young lady helped us while she was talking to her friend on her cellphone. Must be slow enough lol. We were up to try a new milk tea place in Glendale and so we did. There were so many great reviews, so we were so hopeful. We were so disappointed. I ordered a fruit cup-- peach and mango, 75% sweet. It tasted just okay, when I was half way drinking it, it tasted water. One of us ordered the Roasted Oolong tea and it tasted straight out milk. My partner then asked for a new one. One of staff tasted the batch of milk tea where they took it and he said, it didn't have any tea in it. He then prepared a new one then after a while, he said that they ran out of bobas. Super cute space, very clean, well lit and comfortable. Big tables with good space between them. A cute insta-spot where you can sit for photos w their logo behind you. I ordered the butterscotch milk tea, 25% sweet, half and half, with boba and egg pudding. Unfortunately, the egg pudding didn't make it into my cup (I didn't notice until we had left) so I'll have to give that a try next time. The butterscotch is basically Hokkaido milk tea - same flavor profile for that that I've gotten other places that are doing an approximation with syrup instead of using the milk from Hokkaido. At 25% sweet, this was great and really let the butterscotch flavor stand out without being overwhelmed by sugar. My partner for the Mango salted cream, which had a really nice light mango flavor. Not overwhelmingly sweet even at 100%. The salted cream was really salty, but he enjoyed that! If you're less a fan of the salt, thatm might be something you want to mix into the drink instead. The boba in both of our drinks was soft, chewy and had good flavor. There was a good amount of it, too. Service was very friendly and informative. The woman who helped us answered all our questions and helped us make good choices. They have a new rainbow jelly that is not on the wall menu. Super cute seals to the cups! Idk how many styles they have, but I wanna see them all! Came here about a week ago and ordered the Indio and Midnight Star. I thought the Indio was super good and was happily enjoying my drink until I tried my boyfriend's Midnight Star. If you are stopping by for the first time, GET THE MIDNIGHT STAR. We went in again today after another hike and got the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Calico. I'm not certain how I felt about the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Oat Milk but the Calico was pretty good! I do have to say that the quality of the boba is superb. This boba shop requires more improvement. Drinks review: Early grey milk tea: I originally wanted their happy cup milk tea. I thought it was their "standard" milk tea but I was informed it was chocolate infused. Earl grey milk tea is their standard milk tea. 100% sweet Salted cream cheese ($1) Lychee jelly (.50) - Didn't taste the salted cream cheese (didnt even see if there was actually any) nor the earl grey at all. It was watered down. The only thing I was able to taste was the lychee jelly. Dalgona roasted oolong latte: (my friend's opinion) 100% sweet - it tasted like water and burnt coffee. Antelope: ( my friend's opinion) 100% sweet - it's good however, it was too sweet. And it only had 10 basil seeds. Maybe we'll order 50% sweet next time. Overall review: When I walked in, they all just stared at me then continued with their own business. One of them was not wearing mask. While making the drinks, 3 of them actually made the drinks. I can tell that they were still learning how to make the drinks. One of them was flipping through the pages of recipes. Another one tried the drink with a teaspoon.. they weren't wearing gloves either. The interior looks pretty nice and trendy. It's a new local boba shop so, they are still all probably learning.
