Our project was split into multiple steps (because of us, not them) and they graciously planned around us and came back multiple times throughout the project. They even gave us the suggestion of starting the floors, and then coming back to finish them after we finished painting walls because of dust, debris, etc., to make sure we were happiest with the end result. When we had questions or any concerns, they were quick to call, give tips, and come back to assess or change something based on our preferences. They even gave us some of the product they used so we could match our baseboards and fill them the way they suggested. I would highly recommend them for any flooring project.

During the process some unanticipated issues came up and they showed flexibility and willingness to change the scope of the project and schedule accordingly. They are detail oriented. After we had them reinstall all baseboards there was one place we were not quite happy, they came back and fixed it. The end result was beautiful and it had been a great experience working with Serhii and his family crew! After checking the contract, I saw that Jay's Flooring states they aren't responsible for any damage in these areas. While the carpet itself was installed fine, I won't be hiring them again. This crew did a fantastic job at my place…read more My situation was unique. I already had some experience with putting in Epoxy myself on a prior home that I owned. What I need help with was very specifically just grinding the concrete, prepping the floor and repairing cracks so that I could do the rest myself. Firstly, I called a bunch of places and no one agreed to do just the prep work. These guys were the only ones that agreed to do it and at a very reasonable price. Secondly, they showed up on time, got to work immediately and did a very thorough job. I was very impressed with how well they prepped the floor. It made things very easy for me to do as a subsequent step. Thirdly, the crew was very friendly. They gave me tips on what to look out for (since this garage was very big even by their estimation of prior garages they had worked on) and that meant more room for error - for someone like myself who is not an expert. This came down to volumes of Epoxy to use, the brands etc. I learned a lot in just the few minutes I spoke to them about the job. All in all, I had a great experience. Would highly recommend them. I'm sure I'll be coming back to them when I decide to tear things up and redo the floor again!

The ladies were picking out tiles and were talking about grays and I made a comment that grays are going out, as a designer warmer colors are coming in. The lady asked if I could give my opinion and I said, "I don't know what I was working with so that wouldn't be fair", the owner chimed right in. He was rude to me and said , Lisa his wife is already working with them. Listen, I'm not coming in to steel clients, I was there to buy carpets . He, didn't care why I was there! It was the craziest and oddest interaction. The lady apologized to me, I then left the store. In design we always help each other and give our professional opinion. Good luck to him!! I will never step foot or send a client there!!

I have a background in corporate vendor management specifically within trades, and a strong preference for spending money with local business. I eliminated two of the options based on a lack of response or follow-up to my inquiries, leaving two where I focused on quality of product, price, and installation. In the end, Andy's was able to provide a 15% better price for the exact same product, pad, and installation options. Installation took two days, the installers were wonderful people. Family and I couldn't be happier. I'll certainly recommend Andy's to my friends.

We went to Andy's 5 Star Flooring in Bothell due to a recommendation from a friend after a failed…read moreattempt for a quote with one of the big box stores. Our job was replacing flooring on the top floor of a split level that included removing tile in the entry and kitchen. We knew our flooring under the carpet was subpar from the carpet install 24 years prior and we expressed this to the salesman from Andy's several times. He assured us they could fix it. The measure, product choices and quote all went smoothly and we had an install date set for 1 month out in October. We started moving furniture downstairs in preparation. The day before the product delivery the sales rep from Andy's told us that it had not arrived. We were given a new install date in November but when the date arrived, same story. Now our install date was early December. The Sales Rep from Andy's apologized and added free furniture move due to the delays so we left our 4 pieces of leather furniture upstairs. Again, no product and install was set for Monday after Christmas. The initial install attempts had been scheduled for a 4 day install but this one was only for 3 and during a holiday week. On day of install, crew didn't show up until after 10am and left about 5pm. The install crew was short one person and had forgotten the tool to remove tile. Someone delivered it several hours later. Removing the tile created tons of dust. None of our furniture, countertops or appliances were covered. The installer complained constantly about our floor level and that he didn't have enough time to do a good job although the crew were very seldom here for a full 8 hours. The 3rd day they left at 4pm as it was New Year's Eve. They had to come back New Year's Day to complete the install. Bottom line we are happy with the final product result. We don't know if the problems of material delivery were in fact the product company or Andy's incompetence. We will place the problems with install on Andy's as they did not give the installers adequate time to do a good job. Especially during a holiday week. We were left with a HUGE mess to clean up with tile dust thick on our furniture, walls, appliances, kitchen, etc. Our free furniture moving for compensation was not performed. We also had to have the installer come back later to clean up glue that was smeared on the new flooring. Although the Andy's rep was communicative and easy to reach, I would not recommend Andy's.
