If Heaven Had a Nail Salon, It Would Be Enticing Nails by Andy…read more Let's be honest--there are nail salons, and then there's Enticing Nails by Andy in Westwego, LA. My wife has been a devoted since her first appointment, now I completely understand why she practically glows every time she walks out of there. It's not just about nails--it's about the experience. Andy and Ann, the dynamic duo behind the magic, are warm, welcoming, and absolute professionals. You can tell they care deeply about their craft and their clients. Whether you're coming in for a simple manicure or a full-blown nail masterpiece, they listen, they deliver, and they wow. And then there's Theresa--the Queen of Pedicures. If you think you've had a good pedicure before, think again. Theresa's touch is somehow both gentle and effective, leaving your feet feeling like they just came back from a spa retreat in Bali. What truly sets this place apart is the energy. The atmosphere is serene, clean and friendly . You'll walk out feeling pampered, polished, and probably planning your next visit before you hit the parking lot. Worth the drive from anywhere in the New Orleans area? Absolutely. I'd drive through traffic, over potholes, and past a dozen other salons just to get to Enticing Nails by Andy. It's not just a salon--it's a self-care sanctuary.

BAIT AND SWITCH !?!…read more My boyfriend and I went to get pedicures. The lady handed us a pricing menu. $30 for Classic, $40 for Deluxe, & $60 for a 5-in-1 crystal Volcanic spa box (this is important for later as it was not an option we considered bc we didn't want to spend that much - we did NOT know what this "box" was for when it was handed to us) We agreed to classic ($30) + gel polish ($15) for me. Bf asked for deluxe ($40). Verbally confirmed prices too. The lady offered us alcoholic drinks which we declined and asked for water. The place wasn't the cleanest but the 2 workers there seemed kind so we stayed. There was the lady who greeted/got us started and a Second Lady working with another customer. My water in my tub was lukewarm to cold the whole time. Little nats in air. She asked my boyfriend which scent he wanted for his treatment and offered 2-3 different ones.. he chose lavender. She handed us BOTH our own boxes of this crystal volcanic spa box THINKING it was just a scent included with the deluxe. I said no, I just want the classic. Gave me the box anyway to hold. He did his pedicure then she kept doing more and more. Scrubs, wax on the feet. I was looking over like wow, that's a lot for the deluxe! That's a great deal but taking a lot of time! She has been working on him while I was still waiting. A new customer walks in and is waiting inside/outside smoking & on phone. I was on a time crunch so I did NOT want the deluxe. My turn-- the second worker tried to use the box I was holding. I said No, I just want the classic with gel. First worker says "OH you change your mind about deluxe" ***I never wanted this in the first place, mind you*** New customer says Deluxe and 1st worker goes "$65" and my bf turns and says, "how much?!" And she goes "$65 for deluxe" Boyfriend says what did I get for $40? She goes "no sir $65 for deluxe" Grabs menu and argues we are reading it wrong. See picture for reference. BAIT & SWITCH. We paid what we agreed to in the end but it included loud arguing (almost yelling) trying to use her language barrier as an excuse for not being able to communicate her prices for over 15+ minutes. Also, came back and said I owed $50 for $30 + $15... !? That's $45. 2nd worker said menu is wrong we have a new owner. Anyway, beware. They will SCAM you. Might be easier to call police if you're in that situation

She did a fantastic job and suggested some new colors she just got in so I got a pink color called "mad about you" I definitely recommend coming here with Duc I loved her:) also there were some of her regulars there as well and you can just tell she likes to get to know her customers and genuinely cares for them.

Almost every pedicure cart has them included the cart used for my own pedicure. Before I could ever say something my text was going to town on my heels with a grater. It's 2025- the safety of the clientele here needs to be way higher than it is here. I would have rather left with rough heels than feeling like there's micro cuts. I wouldn't recommend the pedicures here which automatically cuts my review in half. Manicures seem fine but really vary on who you get. I can't say I'd be back, but if you skip the pedicure and get the right employee to do your manicure you would probably rate it as a 4 star shop.

The salon was clean and well lit, people were nice but my manicure didn't last from Thursday to Sunday. It came off in pieces, and by the end of the day the whole nail was left without polish. It seemed to 'lift' off. I don't know if it was the type of polish or the preparation of the nails but between a regular mani/pedi and tip, I spent almost $100. Today is Wednesday- not even a week- and I've had to remove all my polish. Perhaps these places specialize in tips and gels, perhaps on their menu where you book online they should specify a technician for basic, natural nail care. I can't be the only one in the Greater New Orleans area who gets a regular manicure ! BTW- this isn't my first time here- I went earlier this summer and a gentleman- I think the owner- did my nails and they lasted at least a week. But, I'm not sure I'll go back !

When walking in I was greeted, and was instantly seated and given colors since I was doing gel. Granted I was the only one in the salon, but still being greeted and welcomed in was very nice! I chose the 3rd level up of pedicure which was the deluxe and it costed $52. Keep in mind for $52 I think that was a great price. She did the hot stones, pumice, some type of scrub and really messaged for about 20-30 minutes. She didn't rush on me but instead took her time. She was also very gentle, and never too rough which can't be said the same about my last nail salon. The basic express one is I believe 32-33, I can't remember exact price. I'm very quiet and they respected that, and didn't force any conversation upon me which made me really happy. I also got acrylics in an almond shape and they came out fantastic! I showed him a picture and he replicated it exactly how I wanted. I'm not sure on the price of the acrylics, but it's definitely not anything crazy. My total came out to $120, and I used the ATM because I do believe they prefer cash. He of course gave me the option for card, but it takes two seconds to pull it out of an ATM. I left a $20 tip because the service was awesome, and I enjoyed my whole time there. They also do a reward system, which I received the card today for it, since it was my first visit! I highly recommend this nail salon. I definitely plan on coming back!
