This was my first time at Bliss and it won't be my last. I actually discovered this place using based on the Yelp app and reviews which were over all positive. The inside was a stylish chic but very clean and organized. The customer service started over the phone with Brandon being so helpful and letting me know the availability as a walk in. After walking in, Brandon let me know there was a bit of a wait but did his best to keep me updated and even assisted me with picking a nail color. My nail tech was also super sweet. She made sure I was comfortable and gave me suggestions on my next service for when I come in to help with my nails. My polish change came out very nice and neat, and I had an overall great experience. Definitely a place that I would go back to. read more

They gave me exactly what I wanted and Patty (my nail tech) even made me a custom color for my nail base to give me exactly what I wanted and TT did a fabulous job on my pedicure. Did a walk in at 3pm on a Friday for a gel manicure, took about 30-40 minutes. It's really clean, good selection of colors, and they work quick. My mani was $35 which is standard. They used to offer wine with services but I guess they stopped. They had the exact color I was looking for which is "you don't know Jacques". They did a good job, will update with how long they last! I got the dip and they're very sturdy! (I wanted something simple and not super bright in color) Doug was great! I scheduled an appointment on Wednesday around 5:30 - he stayed until he was finished even though they close at 6:30. Went back to Bliss for my second time. Unfortunately my experience wasn't as good as the first time. Vivian did a great job on my first visit. She was skilled and knowledgeable. This time I had Ban. Just horrible. She didn't listen to my request of length or shape and my nails are not even. One side is filed down to the skin and the other is longer. She barely touched my cuticles. So bad. Lesson learned. Ask for Vivian. read more

My bestie and I went to Bliss for Dip Manicures. This was my first time having the Dip acrylic powder. The salon is modern and posh. The manicurist received me on time for my reservation and worked efficiently. She did a great job on my nails. I would definitely return to this salon in the future. Just a tip if you never had Dip before. For darker color powder such as the one in my pictures, the powder lingered around the cuticle for a day. Some of the colors come out different than what the powders portray. When you have the dip manicure, it is not like a traditional manicure where you have your hands massaged. This focused on the nail and having the polish set just right. When you are ready to remove or change your color, you will have to have the acrylic soaked off. I would highly recommend making a reservation for this salon as they are very busy. read more

I visited Bliss Nail Bar yesterday for the first time since before the pandemic. I now remember why I enjoyed it so much! I've tried a couple of other salons in the area and wasn't too happy with the results. I decided to go to Bliss and was thoroughly satisfied. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming. The owner even remembered that I used to be a regular customer and welcomed me back. Lily, the technician who did my nails is amazing. She up is very attentive and made sure I was happy with every step she did. She is very personable and sweet. I'm happy to say I'm definitely planning on being a regular once again !! read more

Well, I thought I had found a great place, but now not anymore. I called to ask what time they close, 5:00 was the response, but 4 would be last guest service. So I showed up before 3 and was refused service. The child at the desk just shrugged her shoulders when I said I spoke to you and you told me 4. Again, she gave me a look and shrugged her shoulders again. The owner came over and I told him what I was told and he flat out told me that they were not taking any more clients today. First time at Bliss today (Friday) and loved it! I went in at opening time for a Mani/pedi but I was pressed for time so I did the pedi and came back around 1pm for the mani. Atmosphere-very good. clean, relaxing, nice aroma (no strong "nail salon" odor), adjustable massage pedi chairs. My only negative here is the lack of leg room at the manicure counter. I had to scoot the chair back and lean over or swing my legs to the side. Pedicure-my feet were in bad shape but Lisa went the extra step pulling out the cheese grater style callus remover. Trust me, I needed it. She made me feel comfortable and whipped them back into shape. Manicure-basic manicure with a short massage at the end. Lisa did a great job, guided me on color bc I was going out of my comfort zone, no stray or uneven polish. We did OPI chrome finish over a dark blue/grey gel polish and it's the BOMB! Staff-fully staffed so I had no wait both times. I'm usually awkward but they kept conversation flowing across staff members and customers. Made it my least awkward salon experience, especially for a first time at a new salon. Will be back in 2 weeks with my mom! read more

Another great experience @Bliss! As always, their space is clean and smells wonderful upon entering. I love the modern decor and how they utilize mirrors to help the space feel more open. The entire staff here is extremely knowledgeable, and they are seriously skilled. Dewey was my tech today and he was amazing! He was really thorough, and did a beautiful job on my gelicure and toe polish. We chatted as he worked his magic on my hands and feet, which helped me feel comfortable and made the appointment fly by. I'm already looking forward to scheduling my next appointment with him. I can't recommend Bliss highly enough. All of the techs are warm and kind, they make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The space is gorgeous and they play great music. All of the equipment they use on their clients is clean and comes out of a sterilized pouch. You can choose from water or select one of several different wines to sip on while getting pampered, and who doesn't love that?! What more can I say, this place is perfection. read more

I'm sOoOOoo HAPPY I found Bliss Nails Bar. I just moved to the area and prior to me tryin out Bliss I went to 2 other nail salons *I was not happy with the other salons*. The staff at Bliss are very friendly the salon is VERY clean! Dewey did my nails and I ABSOLUTELY love them. I am very particular when I get my nails done. I like to switch up the styles on my nails and Dewey did my ombre nails perfect. If you're looking for a nail shop thats friendly, inviting, clean and knows what they're doing go to Bliss! read more

My roommate and I came here for a pamper day. We booked an appointment for a weekday visit, at 945 am. They offer complimentary water, wine, or sangria. The sangria is delicious (don't judge, yes I did drink that early). I typically don't get my nails done that often, but I've yet to find a good spot in the city that is attentive, sweet, and professional. Bliss nail bar offers all of that and more. The staff is as beautiful and sweet as the decor. Teri was great and did wonders for my nails. I will definitely be coming back! It's very hard to find a nail salon that does not have workers who are unprofessional. Bliss Nail Bar sets the Bar, quite literally. read more

I am really picky in my nail spots. I had to wait 15 minutes. Got off to rough start because I wasn't greeted. Oh well, I can take the lick for quality. Jasmine took really good care of me. She gave me great ideas for colors. They serve wine at the nail bar too. The chair was extremely comfortable and they had phone charger. Cry!! Make sure you make an appointment during the week and come at a decent time on the weekend because they go crazy for this nail bar on Saturdays. read more

Excellent experience!! Everyone was very warm and welcoming. The space is very clean and decorated beautifully. I went in today for a gel manicure and my mom got a pedicure. Both of our nail techs were incredible. The products they used smelled so good and my mom can't stop talking about how smooth her legs feel after the lemon lime scrub. Overall: disappointed Employees: run by young people who seem to have fun together. Facilities: clean and modern. Loud dance music plays making the place seem hip however not a relaxing atmosphere. Pedicure chairs have the massage buttons and are comfortable. Services: the lady who gave me a pedi was extremely distracted looking more around her and talking to her coworkers than working on my feet. She went quite quickly (I was seated 10 minutes after another client and I was still done before her and we got the same item on the menu). I was very disappointed. They offer drinks (wine, water, etc). I read great reviews on this place so I was super excited. But after my experience I would have rather gotten my pedicure back home where they really clean your cuticles and are cheaper. I thought they were overpriced at $34 for a regular pedi. They are way cheaper in OC California. Not worth the coinage. read more

They take walkins to get the nails done with no appointment on a Tuesday! but when it's time for removed "we booked and we don't take walk in Monday-Thursday" so you can put them on but can't take them off. Also pedicure chipped in 2 days and I got an infected big toe. Will not be returning. read more

This place will NOT disappoint! I just stumbled upon here and I am so happy I did! The whole staff is super nice, always greeted with a smile. They also have a really good red sangria if you're thirsty, you're welcome! I love CiCi but I've had multiple different people do my nails and have no complaints. I waited a whole year lurking all over Instagram to find a new nail salon before I finally came across the pictures of nails done at Bliss. I knew right away that's where I was going. I looked over every picture dating back 2 years and without a doubt knew I wanted Kelli to do my nails. I haven't regretted a single fill, set or pedicure. Any picture I take in she recreates or if I am stumped she helps with new ideas. I have to carry her cards with me because everywhere I go people want to know where I got my nails done. Considering the growth and size of Austin it's still refreshing to walk into an establishment that not only offers first class service but still feels like a family environment. I feel like my nails were cheaply made. I had them for maybe 3 days and I had already broke off 3 nails. I wasn't doing anything to break them. Just simply putting laundry in the washer, look down, and gone. Never felt any of them come off. read more

Someone once told me about this nail bar and I'm glad I finally gave it a try 2 years later. Doug took his precious time with my basic pedicure. He got every dead skin and flake off my foot. I know this is a part of his job, but a lot of nail technicians rush and don't provide quality work but he did his damn job!! When I got home, I didn't see a single drop of polish on the surrounding skin of my toenails. Did I mention they provide a glass on complimentary wine? Yup, this is definitely the new spot. And I will be upgrading my pedicure to the premium services from now on because I see that it's worth it! read more

Mediocre nail salon. It's very aesthetically pleasing inside, but I feel like this business is overrated. They're schedule is super confusing. They only do certain services and walk-ins/appointments on certain days. The receptionist always looks uninterested and annoyed when you come in. My sister and I got our nails done here, and nail art is not their specialty. They charged her 75cents for each crystal they used on her nails, which all fell off 2 days later...my manicurist didn't even say one word to me which is fine, but at least a greeting would've been nice to hear. Her and the other manicurist working next to her started talking about another customer right in front of me , which I understood because she sounded like a difficult/rude customer, but it would've been more professional if they did that in private. read more

Stephanie was engaging as we discussed our Carnival plans. She is very detailed. I get gel manis all the time especially in Los Angeles. I got a gel manicure for the first time at another salon and was so disjointed ... peeled after a few days. Decided to try Bliss and give gel one more shot. I was super impressed withe the salon atmosphere and professionalism of the staff right off the back. The man who did my nils was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure I would love my gel manicure this go around. Will definitely be back! read more

Went there for the first time last week and they were awesome! They have the best massage pedicure chairs and Dewey was so friendly and welcoming. He did a GREAT job on my pedicure and was so nice to chat with. It's so good to have a really nice, high-quality nail salon in Kenner now. I will most definitely be going back! read more

My cuticles were cut on both big toes and the tech was very rough with both cuts. She used the towel to clean the wound instead of a napkin which is a huge sanitary issue for me. The polish job was poor quality... For $40 dollars.. I cannot complain, however, I would request one of the older women to complete my service if I return for next time.

There was a vast selection of pedicures to choose from and it was tough making a decision lol. I went with the Orange Mango (I think that's the name). It was niiiiice and fresh oranges were placed in the water. Also worth mentioning is that the foot tubs are huge! The lady that did my pedicure did an excellent job and I was very impressed. The price point was a tad bit higher than other options in the area, but I feel it was well worth it. I'm looking forward to returning!

This place is AMAZING!…read more My mom, daughter and I decided to go for one last girls outing before my parents leave town until Christmas time, and figured getting our nails done was the perfect way to relax and get a little pampering in! We got there around 1pm and were quickly taken to our seats to begin. Not busy at all - maybe 2 other ladies in the nail salon. I was lucky enough to have been paired up with Mary for my manicure and Tiffany for my pedicure - they were both INCREDIBLE!!! I highly recommend the jelly pedi (pricey, but worth it - plus, you get a gift certificate towards your next visit). I usually get a regular or gel manicure but decided to try a dip mani this time and I'm not sure I'm ever going back, haha!
