I came in to try a pedicure for the second time at this salon. I signed in and was immediately called to sit in the chair where they fill the water for the foot soak. I was surprised at how fast that happened -- it seemed like a great start. I placed my feet in the water and expected, reasonably, that someone would be with me in about 10 to 15 minutes. I understood they were working on other clients. But then 15 minutes passed, then 20, and by the 30-minute mark, my feet were wrinkled, and the water had gone cold. What made this worse was that no one said a word to me during this time -- not a check-in, not an apology, not even a basic acknowledgment. Meanwhile, all the other customers receiving attention were white, and I was the only person of color in the room. I tried to brush that off, thinking maybe I was overthinking it. But the way I was ignored made me feel less-than and unappreciated. It would have made a difference if someone had simply said, 'We'll be with you shortly' or apologized for the delay. Instead, I sat there feeling invisible. After half an hour with no acknowledgment, I got up and left. No one should be made to feel that way read more

Had a good experience here. The quality is usually good. People are always friendly and professional.The vibe is always cool and friendly. I send all of my family and friends here. I've been coming here for years. Unfortunately it's not the same experience as when the previous owners were here. As you can see in my previous reviews they provided drinks all but this is still a good place to go. I'll probably venture out to another shop next time to get something closer to what I requested. They try their best but it just hasn't been right on the mark like I would prefer for the price I pay each time. read more

Positive experiences and fair prices. I had my first dip manicure from them which lasted 19 days! They did a great job removing them and my nails were clean and healthy. Today I arrived 10 minutes before close and they were eager for my business-for me it makes me more than happy to patronize this salon. Nice ladies. Here's the thing, I like Tin. 9/10 I'm able to walk in and get a pedicure if I need to without a wait. The problem comes, when wanting a full acrylic set. Apparently only two people are skilled in acrylic. That's fine but when do they work? Can I get their schedule? It's nothing to walk in and they yell out "where not doing acrylic". Okay well when are you doing it because that what I want. Another problem I have is...I've been going there for over a year and have never paid the same price twice. Girl it might be $45 then two weeks later it's $28. I don't know if I'm paying Dollars or Euros. Last thing about my friends here is probably the thing that's most important but for some reason doesn't bother as much because they lay acrylic better than most...my polish starts to chip or raise up after about 10 days. I notice the way the lay polish and this is why it lifts but like I said, it doesn't bother me so much because the acrylic work is so good. Their goal is to of course have you comeback frequently. they do great pedicures. Not sure what to tell you about Tin. I'm not 100% ready to give up on them. But for 2022, the inability to figure out the acrylic schedule is wearing on my nerves; I might have to find another shop. But based on the owner, he probably could not care less. read more

Chloe is amazing!!! But she is out on maternity leave. I had a pedicure and gel manicure this past Thursday afternoon, 4/18. Incredibly rude tech. Introduced myself, asked how she was, and I did not even get a response. She did not speak a single word throughout my services. So terrible!!! -sloppy - manicure is lumpy, not smooth around cuticles, sections of edges not even polished and there debris in the polish!! Dust?? No idea. Already chipped!! Plus she cut the length off all my nails!!! I did not ask for a trim. I bought a pedicure that was supposed to have a citrus masque - no mask- here again, sloppy. Big toes are actually red and puffy on the sides from her digging in them. So, wait for Chloe to come back or find some other place, because everyone else's work is awful. read more

This nail shop is close to my office so I stopped in for a gel manicure on Friday at lunchtime. Convenient location on 17th at the corner of Causeway, across from the Dillard's parking lot. Easy to park, no wait and the manicurist was friendly and did a great job on my nails. The ambiance is on the utilitarian side but it was clean and bright. There are six pedicure chairs and six manicure stations, so compared to where I usually go, this shop is on the smaller side. Nice selection of OPI polishes - all numbered and neatly arranged so that gel colors were right next to their counterpart in regular polish. Colors are easier to see in the clear bottles containing the regular polished, so having the same gel color right next to the regular polish made it super easy to find the shade I was looking for. Gel manicure was $30 and they are open on Sunday afternoons. I will be back. read more

Let me start by saying this. I have never had a manicure or pedicure before. My girlfriend and I wanted to reward ourselves for a long week and we stumbled upon this local nail salon. For my first time getting a mani pedi...IT WAS PRETTY GREAT. My feet are so much smoother and my nails cleaner than ever before. They were exfoliating my feet, and I could not stop laughing because it tickled so much. They were a lovely staff and the manager is super nice. Everyone has their license to do nails. Plus, it's 10% off for your first time there! Sometimes they do student discounts or other sales. Overall. Heck yeah I'd go again. I've never felt more pampered in my life. The employees were nice but they did a horrible job. The guy did my nails and a young woman did the paint. Look at the gap between nail n cuticle, i already need a refill and I literally just left. The color needed another coat of paint. didnt notice the color until I left out building. I'm not a person to complain so I left just disappointed will not return. I don't normally get manicures but I felt like a little splurge would lift my spirits. I only waited a few minutes until my technician got to me. She didn't speak until spoken to and rushed through the manicure as if she were being timed. I had gel polish applied and really wish she'd removed all of the old polish off of the sides, since she didn't try to cover it. There was an application of lotion to my hands and wrist but it too was hurried. Overall not a bad experience but also not a good one. read more

This was literally one of the worst experiences I ever had at a nail shop. I called in advance to ask if they were busy for a walk in and they said there would be no wait. I wanted a simple design and refill on my overlay; One of the ladies started to work on my nails and she put acetone on my old overlay and my hand in a glove and then left me there for an hour to work on 2 other guests. I was there with a friend who finished an hour before me and had to ask another technician to finish the work the lady started. I ended up just having to get a whole new full set instead of the refill and I personally feel like for a basic overlay and an unnecessary overlay removal they charged way too much. I didn't even leave with the set I wanted. For a saturday they absolutely should have more people working if they aren't going to prioritize getting people in and out. read more

This is my first time here and I am happy with the service I received. I called on a Sunday at 11:30 and he told me to come in at 12:30. They saw me a little earlier and I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. The place is very clean. They use spa liners in their pedicure beds, which is amazing. A lot of colors to select from. They give you something to drink while you are here. The woman who did my services was Tina. She was so sweet and had no problem with anything.
