Very poor service. Once I walked out the door in humidity the Gel polish turned black, after frying my hands in machine over 9x's. She moved fast when she got to my nails and cut my cuticles. Once she started my nails she stop and do 4 diffrent people nails and I'd wait for her to get back to mine. I was there for a good honest 5 hrs. She likes pay on cash app. I paid highest amount requested and said over 5x's I was paying the last $5 in cash. She just kept saying the amount I paid really loud. She chased me out the door and followed me To my car yelling while with my daughter. As I went to get $5 I told her I was getting. I Was humiliated. Bad vibe bad customer service. Never again! Not worth time or hassle. Very unprofessional and not Business like. Hope this help other. Won't ever happen to me and my daughter again!!!!! read more

I visited this salon and attempted to tell the tech that I didn't like the color and wanted to change it. The tech said she didn't understand and called another tech to interpret. Once this male walked over he proceeded to tell me that I was in error that this was the correct color. I than showed him a photo and he said why didn't I show him this initially. He than said I was being aggressive and refused to finish my nails and asked me to leave. I was not aggressive at all just a difference of opinion and could not believe the way I was treated. I also noticed when I walked in I was not greeted just asked to pick my color. I noticed when a Caucasian customer came in they were greeted by multiple techs. Very rude and unprofessional. They really do a great job most of the time. I have only come once as wasnt satisfied with the work done, they did offer to re do them but I was running late and simply didn't have the time for them to do it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The prices are reasonable. This place can be packed on most days so prepare to wait, I think it's worth the wait because they really do strive to do a great job which takes time. They are the only nail shop close in location to me that does SNS powdered nails, I love this stuff it helps my natural nails to last, grow and remain strong and healthy. Like I said bring a tablet, computer, phone or a book because it takes a minute for service some times but they cant be beat at customer service and price. read more

The wait time is crazy . Everything looks great when it's done but waiting 2 hours EVERY-TIME is crazy , they are short handed or something . I used to go to get my eyebrows done and would wait 2 hours , when it takes 2 minutes to do. As a business owner I wouldn't make someone who is getting a 5 minute service wait behind people getting 2 hour services . Just my opinion. Never going again . read more

We walked in and were greeted with looks of disgust. The hostee couldn't even be bothered to look up and acknowledge me. I asked for my services (a SNS manicure and two pedicures), I was instructed to pick out colors. Two white women that came in after me, asked for their services and were immediately seated. I watched as ever single tech took care of everyone else but us. After 15 minutes of being ignored, me and my 9 year old God-daughter left. This is utterly disgusting and highly unprofessional. I'm visiting from Charlotte and wanted to treat my God daughter to getting her nails done. I can't say what the logic or reason behind anything that happened is but I can state that we were the only two Black people in the establishment and that was our experience. read more

Came on a Tuesday morning. It was quiet and only about 4 customers in here. The chair was great the customer service was nice. The salon was clean. The tech took her time with my nails making sure she caught everything. My big deal is people who can apply acrylic can't paint nails well luckily she was able to do both I am very satisfied with my outcome and will definitely be returning. read more

So I came back!! I LOVE THIS new nail spa in St. Bernard. It's clean, people are friendly, and most importantly they are really really good!! I came for the 2nd time today..this time for a spa pedicure and Gel nails manicure. Like I reviewed in my previous post, they offer OPI Gel Nails which is awesome because you can easily match your pedicure with your manicure. They lady owner excitedly showed me her new additions to the OPI Gel Nails colors. My polish on my nails and toes are perfect. What a relaxing experience during my off day. Sit back, bring a book, and just enjoy the day! Best of all, you don't hear them gossiping in Vietnamese (which I know must feel uncomfortable for their non-Vietnamese speaking clients) AND they accept credit cards..which is an added bonus because some places don't which I find extremely annoying! This place is a 5 stars in my book..Too bad they are hidden away all the way in the Parish. read more

I have been going to lux nail spa for almost a year now and the last few times have just been completely unsatisfactory. I arrived with my daughter at 1:30pm and signed in. We waited patiently for our names to be called and around 3:45pm we were called. We went to the pedicure chairs and soaked out feet in cold water for another 30 min. Finally we were serviced and then moved to the manicure chairs. We were serviced right away and I asked if they could do ombré nails and without a blink of an eye I was told yes. They proceeded to finish my set and then a man came over to ombré my nails. He took his time and completed my nails. When I was sitting under the dryer I noticed my nails were not in the least bit inbred or pretty at all. They looked like someone messed up in painting them. When I too the man how unsatisfied I was he then told me that was the way they did nails and that he would paint over them if I wanted. I paid extra money to have my nails done inbred and wasted my money and I had wasted my whole day. IT WAS 6:00 by the time we got home. My daughter picked out 2 bows to put on her ring finger as her summer break treat. 2 hours later the bows fell off. They regulars her bows but still did not fix my "ombre" nails. I understand if no one knows how to do this but just be honest. I would have picked something else. read more

Trash. Trash. Trash. Went there a while back and my nails were so crooked. I then got cut and the person didn't even tell me they cut me until I felt the acrylic burning my finger so when i look there's blood all over my finger so I was like "uhh this is really burning. Really bad" and thwh said "I'm sorry". I'm not mad that they cut me I'm mad that they didn't tell me until it was burning. And the staff is very unfriendly. There's one nice lady in there and she's the sweetest. But the people doing my nails didn't even try to make small talk which is such a let down to me. Butttttt very clean and the use new tools with every person. Maybe if they were all sweet maybe they could get higher than a 2 star review. read more
