Review I am so sorry…read morethat I ever set foot in this dentist office. Dr. Chui told me that I had 12 cavities and periodontal disease, which was eroding my jawbone. She filled seven cavities and told me that I would need a special treatment that costs $200 per tooth and wasn't covered by insurance for the other five. I didn't go back, and when I went to another dentist three months later, they showed me all of my x-rays and went tooth by tooth to show me that I had no cavities (much less five), and showed me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my gums or jawbone. I can't believe I let this person do anything in my mouth, much less fill seven cavities. What's more, in my original visit she didn't actually do a cleaning, just tell me how many cavities they had to fill. If Dr. Chui tells you that Need any advanced dental procedure beyond a regular cleaning, get a second opinion!

Dr. Jackson is the kind of person I would totally hang out with. He's really geeky about dentistry which is cool. He's into it and his enthusiasm emanates throughout the entire practice. He is gentle and sensitive to my tendency to completely freak out. My first visit was an emergency. I was in serious pain and really scared. It had been a while since I'd been to a dentist, I think out of fear. Loads of bad experiences in my past. He told me, "This is the last time you will cry in my office." He gave me a real Sony Walkman with Dark Side of the Moon on cassette to listen to. Legit. Following each of my first few visits, Dr. Jackson or the person who'd worked with me called me at home at night to check on me. At the office, they went above and beyond to help me feel relaxed, comfortable and safe. In terms of his work: I defy anyone to find which of my teeth is my own and which is the state-of-the-art, no-exposed-metal crown Dr. Jackson just made for me. Exquisite. Not because of anything I had done, but because of the mess my last dentist had left. I started going to Dr. Armet when I was about 17. During my first visit, he makes a comment about the crazy amount of cement still left on my teeth from when I had my braces. He asks how long ago I had them taken off, thinking my answer was going to be sometime in the recent past. My answer: 4 years ago. He couldn't believe my old dentist left it all there for so long. He then took the time to try to remove it. Now I have fun spots on my teeth from all that cement that had been there for like 6 or 7 years. 2. What? You're not supposed to feel like you're in a torture chamber when you're at the dentist? Who knew? Not me, that's for sure. At least until I started seeing Barry. So he's drilling my teeth, and I'm flinching. Dr: Can you feel that? Me: Yes. Dr: Why didn't you say something? Me: What? I'm not supposed to be able to feel anything? Dr: Of course not, tell me when you feel it, and we'll numb you right up. Me: Really? I was a kid when I started seeing my first dentist. It was my only experience. I had no idea that wasn't just how things were supposed to be. Apparently the first dentist was cool with all the pain, crying, and screeching because he was hitting unnumbed nerves with the freaking tools. Thanks, man. 3. I no longer live out this way. But I still see Barry. Sometimes people are surprised that I'd want to drive out there for the dentist. If they read this, they might understand. 4. My hygenist is awesome. I've been seeing the same woman for years and years. She rocks. Yay, Deb. 5. Liz, the receptionist, is so nice. She gets that I'm one of those people where if I have my next appointment booked before I leave, I'll show up at the scheduled time. If I don't have the appointment, I'm not going to call and make one, and it's going to be years before you see me again. Because of this, they see me every six months. So, that's a smattering of reasons why Barry and his crew are awesome. I'm sure there are more. But I think you get the idea.

His staff is guick, efficient and will present you for your dental appointment in a short period of time. Let's be frank, he does not waste your time or co-payment value. I have had many dentists, but he is a fully qualified general dentist who will provide excellent dental care. He practices with the latest technologies, and takes a genuine concern with the patient's tolerance for pain. I continue to get good care from Dr. Armet and his staff, but they are not a cosmetology clinic. Difficult patients, who need special care, should seek a boutique dentist, who offers gas, music relaxation and massages elsewhere.

He had his precious dentist send over his full mouth xrays that we're done 18 months ago. He got into the appointment and took his X-rays WITHOUT his consent and proceeded to do a cleaning (which he explained he didn't need or want). The dentist went on to say that he had this and that but never addressed the reason he went in the first placee. The chipped tooth. The dentist was condescending and unprofessional.
