If I could give 0 stars, I honestly would. This place is a total mess. They're all nice and friendly when you're signing up and paying, but after that it's like you don't matter anymore. Getting in touch with anyone is a nightmare, and you're constantly chasing them just to get basic updates. You never see the same staff twice, and it feels like no one is actually on the same page. They drag everything out for months, delay your aligners way longer than they say, and still keep spamming you with calls and texts like you're not already a patient. Then at the very end you're given just one cheaply made "final" aligner that looks like it was ordered off Temu. It's meant to last forever, it's very thin cheaply produced that will definitely break within weeks. If it breaks or you lose you will have to pay $1000 minimum to replace it. do yourself a favour and actually read the 1-star reviews before going anywhere near this place. Work that was supposed to take 4-6 months 17-18 later not even close to finish, I had enough and walked away.I was told no insurance to be used yet she billed my insurance even though she was fully paid by me. Stay far, far away from this dental practice. Visited for an introductory offer; $99 for XRays, cleaning and Examen. XRay process took forever. Way more than a dozen XRays were taken from different angles by an incompetent dental assistant. Following the cleaning and Exam a meeting with Dr. Navqui took place in a separate office. She said that I needed Full Mouth Rehabilitation; permanent crowns on all of my teeth as soon as possible at an estimated cost of over $40,000. This place is horrible! I brought Dr. Sumbul Naqui to small claims court she never appeared to both hearings and was found at fault. I'm now waiting for her to pay the judgement, which is late. It looks like I will be heading back to court to file a criminal complaint against her for deceptive practice/ fraud, which she'll then be arrested for. DO NOT have anything to do with this place she'll take your name and never give you the product or dental services needed. Don't go here! Just don't. I've never been harassed like I have by this business. The head dentist does NOT take NO for an answer, and will instead insist and ask about your personal life, finances, and encourage you to finance. The dentist offers to help you with payments, not a payment plan, but simply spreading what would be one appointment into several over the course of the next 2-5 business years. I spoke with 5 different employees the first day I was there because that's just how they do things. Clueless front desk worker, every employee has a different "offer" for you. Don't accept any promises for free services as they will conveniently forget when it comes time to pay. The text messages for deals if you come in the office "right now!" For a "free" cleaning. Nothing here is free or for your benefit. They will say you need a deep cleaning before anything else, and that costs $1000 total, $250 for each quadrant. Not to mention the "care plan" they came up with, for one tooth, was totaling $9000! :) They then had me come meet their "financial advisor" who was the biggest joke. Almost had me sign up for a credit card right there before anything else, Thank God I didn't continue to fill out that form. I have never been to a dentist that is so unprofessional, having new team members performing dentistry, dropping instruments on the ground because it's so crowded in the little rooms and scrapes on the walls from it, one room even had a straight up hole in the wall. The care I received was yet another trauma on a long list of sh**y dentists. I had to beg them to stop because they had their "temp" doing the curing on my tooth, and then another staff steps in, two people curing one tooth, so many times that, the tooth heated up so much I thought the porcelain might burst! I had to verbally say "hot!" and grab their coat to get them to stop. The dentist who popped out the tooth during the extraction I came in for, charged me $350 to put it back in. I have to pay for your mistake? To Atlantis Dental directly: I was in a very vulnerable spot and yall took advantage of that and now you have to live with that karma. Clients who go to your office don't care about your missions work to other countries, but care about your dental care to them, and your response to my complaint is cheap and you have "gaslighted" the whole matter by even mentioning it. (I have done many missions trips myself but it is not relevant to this matter.) My complaint which is affirmed by COUNTLESS other individuals on YELP, all talk about your misleading tactics, manipulating steps to have work done outside of what I paid for in full upfront, as you required, and then declared that additional work was needed at each visit - which was unnecessary, and was since affirmed by another dentist that this additional work was harmful to the long term health of my teeth. I paid in full for an Invisalign treatment plan and you refused to finish the treatment at the ending months and refused to issue my paid-in-full retainer, after 8,000 plus dollars, 9 months of time and travel consisting of two hours each trip with lost wages, closing the office when appointments were established and confirmed with no notice only to arrive to a closed office, and not returning endless calls to your office this past month in order to get my matter resolved. So of course now my teeth will return back to their original condition with everything lost and suffering blatant mistreatment, including lying and theft, and no sense of responsibility, care or concern until a post is written and you respond within an hour...lol! So don't try to appear as a caring person otherwise. This is whey the Better Business Bureau has revoked and non/accredited your practice and you now have an "F" rating which is the worst rating a business can have and you COMPLETELY earned that, but nothing else. I contacted Atlantis Dental a few months ago after seeing an ad on Instagram to setup a free consultation for Invisalign. While driving to my consultation (which was almost an hour away due to traffic that day), I decided to look them up on Yelp. The reviews I saw were shocking so I cancelled my appointment and let them know I was no longer interested in their services. Ever since then this office has been harassing me! I've received calls, texts, and postcards sent to my house (I made the mistake of giving them my address when I booked the consultation). The texts are always from different people pushing deals or stating that Dr. Naqvi would like to speak to me (see photos attached). I've asked to be removed multiple times over the phone as well as via text (see photo attached) but that did nothing on their end. So now I'm following up with my lawyer for a cease and desist. The office is not clean, and the staff constantly harass patients with nonstop calls to schedule appointments, even after you've made it clear you no longer wish to be seen there. They pressure people into appointments they can't afford, which is unacceptable. FRAUD ALERT- DO NOT USE I had a consultation for invisalign on March 18, 2025. During the appointment I agreed to go forward with the services and paid $4000 up front. However to date invisalign was never provided. Over the past four months I repeatedly called for an update. I was continually provided with multiple excuses such a " its ready to be shipped", it's being shipped this week" and the delay is due to the current state of the economy. The most recent excuse was the office was no longer using invisalign and want to use another provider. At this point I asked to speak with the office manager and wanted a full refund. Each time I called to speak with the office manager I was informed they were busy and would get back to me by the end of the day which of course they did not. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. The only saving grace is that I used my Chase Saphire credit card for the payment. I contacted the credit card compant to file a FRAUD complaint and I was issued a full refund. The credit card company told me they will investigating the fraudulent activity. It is now Almost May 2025 I have been waiting and paying for my Invisalign for eight months and whenever I call to ask, what's The status on my Invisalign the receptionist always says that the dentist is in surgery or in an appointment and that she will call me back later. Came here primarily for dental teeth cleaning. They ONLY flossed the teeth, which took 5 minutes. We're more interested in taking X-rays of teeth, and general intake process. They also use high pressure sales tactics and attempt to use fear to commit to different services. Posted this on google, but would like as many people to see it as possible. TLDR: They wasted an hour of my time and charged me consultation fee for a service they knew they wouldn't provide. I had composite bonding done to my teeth from a different dentist some years back, I've been noticing some roughness in the bonding so I scheduled a consultation with Atlantis to fix it since I saw on their website they do composite fillings. I scheduled a consultation the day of, and the staff member told me it would only take 20-40 minutes. It ended up taking a bit over an hour and most of it was just waiting around. Since I left in the middle of work I would've just gone back to work after waiting 20 minutes but they charged me before I was even seen by the dentist... I finally go in for the consultation for my tooth, and the hygienist tells me it looks like I might have a cavity on that tooth...I told him I just got a full panel x-ray for all of my teeth two weeks ago, and there is no cavity there. He doesn't seem to believe me and insists on an x-ray anyways...Even though the x-ray was included in the consultation fee, I felt like I was exposed to more radiation unnecessarily. Also they could've easily asked my other dentist to send over my x-rays while I was waiting. 40 something minutes later, I finally get to see the dentist. She looks at my teeth and starts telling me I should get Invisalign to fix my bite, which is not at all what I was even there for. She then asked me where I got my bonding done, and I told her PA. She basically scoffed at the idea that any dentist would do dental bonding...She goes on about how bonding is not a good fix for the appearance of teeth and that it goes against her "philosophy" to essentially fix my tooth via bonding...She said she would only do a full set of veneers lol. She then told me to go back to PA to get my tooth fixed! So basically I went in there specifically for a bonding related issue (and they knew that), but then was turned away because they don't do bonding, even though it says on their website that they do. And yet they had the audacity to schedule me in and charge me a consultation fee. I now understand why there are so many reviews calling this clinic a scam. They have suspiciously stellar reviews that all sound the same, but yelp seems to say otherwise. I would save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

We had the most horrible experience with Atlantis Dental. I have never ever seen a worse business in my life. We got an online appointment for invasalign and during the appointment they asked for a much higher price compared to what is said on the website claiming that the website is outdated. After settling on a price, they very quickly made us apply for financing during the call and literally pushed us into getting it. We had to make a down payment for the financing but things got even worse. During our first appointment, they made us sign a no refunds document and only after everything is signed they claimed that we had cavities that had to be fixed before the invasaling adding an extra 2.5k to the treatment. They made us sign a document saying that we have to get the cavities fixed before we can get the invasalign. Furthermore, they pushed onto us an extra cleaning even though we did not want it. Then things got even worse as I called them not once but three times to say that I do not want to get the invasalign with the extra costs and want to cancel the whole treatment. Each time they said they will call back and never ever did. This happened three times and because they kept avoiding my calls, the time for the initial monthly payment came and I had to pay for a treatment I am not even getting because the financing company says that they can not cancel the plan without them giving the order to do so. I also can not remove my payment method from the financing site they use. They literally locked me into paying a treatment I am not getting and because of their no refunds policy I don't think I will ever get my money back. Finally when I called them again and said that I want to cancel the whole thing, they kept saying that it will be cheap with insurance (my insurace does not cover dental so no) and kept pushing and pushing me. The final situation is that they were supposed the call me back today, which guess what? It did not happen. I just had my last Invisalign appointment with Atlantis Dental in Framingham, and I can finally share my horrible experience that lasted a year. I do not recommend them at all. On Google, they have 4.6 stars with over 1,000 reviews, but on Yelp, they have 1.4 stars with 60 reviews--a glaring difference. I initially saw the glowing Google reviews and made an appointment for an Invisalign consultation. At first, everyone seemed so nice, and the price was cheaper than other places, so I decided to proceed with Invisalign. I paid in full at my first appointment, and everything went downhill from there. Once they had my money, scheduling became a nightmare, and customer service was nonexistent. Meanwhile, I was bombarded with 3-4 texts a week advertising their sales. The issues piled up quickly. They canceled three appointments in a row within 48 hours of the scheduled time, and when I tried to speak to the manager, the front desk staff promised he'd call me back within an hour. I waited two hours, called back, and was given the runaround all day--never speaking to the manager. It was clear they were avoiding me. During the same time, they were aggressively advertising Invisalign to new clients on social media but couldn't fit me in to finish my treatment for over a month. I was wearing a retainer that was supposed to last 4 days for two months at one point. Mind you I'm supposed to keep them on while I eat, so they looked awful (I brushed them obv but still) After one of the cancellations, I got a call the next day from a obviously unaware staff member, asking if I wanted to schedule a cleaning. It was obvious they prioritize new money over their current clientele and have no regard for feedback. Their high staff turnover was another red flag. Every single appointment, I saw new staff members. They even had interviewees--people who weren't hired yet--working on patients. On Yelp, many former employees voice their opinions about how terrible it is to work at Atlantis, citing the same pushy sales culture and toxic environment I observed as a patient. Looking back at the glowing Google reviews, it's hard to believe they're genuine. They seem robotic and staged compared to the raw, detailed complaints on Yelp. The actual dentist, Dr Naqvi, shoved a metal file into my teeth to file my teeth (that's expected for your teeth to move around) and without warning me it could hurt, like my tooth shifted. Anyone with a brain would know that type of force would cause ALOT of pain. All my other experiences with dentists are they warn you something might hurt even if it's a little pinch. This dentist clearly had no regard for my feelings because ???? It was so painful that I involuntarily yelled "Ow!" out loud. I'm the type of person who doesn't speak up even if I'm in pain, so you can imagine how bad it was. She was obviously rushing. I also got a grey tooth during the Invisalign treatment. I was told to eat with them on and to change them every 4 days and I called Invisalign and they told me that's not recommended. You should not eat with them on and to change them every 7 days is the minimum.... I'm not saying the grey tooth was Alantis Dentals fault but it makes me wonder. I could see them rushing through treatments to get more sales because that's clearly their entire motive. My tooth is not dead on X-rays, but it will require internal bleaching to fix. This experience made me dread every appointment. I hate how angry and negative I would get when I had to either schedule and appointment or go in. I hate being negative, I found my self snappy at other customer service reps in different professions and I realized it's because I didn't want to get finessed again. Atlantis Dental refused to share my patient record for pre-treatment photos after a failed orthodontic treatment. This is unacceptable and unethical. And I am going to start seeking legal process to obtain these records. I became a patient since the start of the pandemic due to moving to Framingham from Brookline/Boston area. I was talked into getting braces at that time. My teeth were near perfect, really. But the two lower front teeth in the center were just a bit crooked. I did not know enough about orthodontics so agreed to get a treatment from a general dentistry, and had braces installed in Dec 2020. 3 years past, where the last 2 years I visited the practice every 2 weeks to have bands adjusted. The two crooked lower front teeth had gradually moved, but unaware by me, other issues have emerged due to these braces, and caused more serious problem to my dental health. In 2023, unrelated to the braces, I suffered injury to my upper front teeth. As a result, I started visiting doctors of other practices to address the injury issue. That's when many doctors pointed out issues caused by my braces: my lower front teeth has suffered severe gum recession (I didn't even notice...but there was basically no gum left in my lower front teeth). And both of my maulers, which are baby teeth, have risen up so much higher compared to other teeth due to crowded space. I've also been experiencing pain in my back teeth and jaw, some of which was sever. I realized my teeth have been messed up after these years of inappropriate braces treatment from Atlantis. I decide to remove them. Upon that decision, Naqvi was away, so I went to another practice, paid out of pocket, and removed the braces after wearing them for 3 years. This happened in May 2023. Then, I started seeking actual ortho professionals hoping to address my issues, one of whom is Dr. Lisann at Beacon Orthodontic in Brookline. She was extremely professional and nice. Gave me a thorough assessment and walked me through the complications of my case. However, in order to have a good correction plan in place for me, she needed pictures of my jaw and teeth prior to the Atlantis ortho treatment. I sent Atlantis Dr. Lisann's treatment letter detailing my issue, and asked them to provide such pictures. All I got was radio silence. I followed up multiple times, and was ignored. Dr. Lisann was unable to recommend further treatment due to lack of such information. I emailed my general dentist in Boston prior to switching to Atlantis, and was able to get an immediate response for records. However, they do not have any pictures taken like the ones I did in Atlantis dental as records prior to the ortho treatment. Patient records are my legal property. All doctors are required by law to retain all patient records to as long as 7 years. I will continue to seek any help, including legal methods, to obtain what belongs to me so my current doctors can help me address the issue caused by Atlantis. I made a mistake getting an ortho treatment from an amateur's practice unfamiliar with the complexities of ortho treatment, that was on me. However, confiscating my records and refusing to share them is illegal and immoral. And it's unacceptable. read more

The dentist tries to guilt trip you and thinking that you will die (using your kids, life, etc if you do not get your teeth fixed so then again pressures you have to sign up for some thing that you know you won't get approved for basically. This is a dental practice to completely avoid. Everything about the way I was treated by Sumbul Naqvi made me think that the ONLY thing this dental service cares about is how much $$$$ they can get out of you. The recommendations made were for overpriced services that I could not afford, but they wanted to bury me in financed debt rather than use lower cost and very reasonable alternatives. But the problems with this office go beyond the greed of the dentist and the staff. The condition of the office should give one real concern for the ability for Atlantis to provide competent care. Many pieces of equipment in the treatment room was obviously broken and non-functional. Broken wires hanging out of devices did not make me feel good about the gear that would be used. The XRay equipment looked ancient and provided low grade distorted images. Even the clock on the wall was broken! What this dental office does invest considerable money in is marketing ploys! They email and call without end, even after telling them I did not want to receive calls or emails. I have also begun receiving marketing contacts from other strange vendors and I suspect that Atlantis has sold my personal contact information to other firms and agencies. My experience with Atlantis felt like a hustle. The office did not appear to be a well equipped modern practice. Spent over $13,000 here. Had a permanent cap come off a year or so later and was told it would be free like at most dentists to install it back on. After taking an hour off work to come and wait 45 minutes I was told it would be $250 to install it back on. I was quoted by 3 other dentists before this that they could do it with x-rays and glue for under $100 but they all suggested I go back to the person who did the work as most places will glue it back on for free. I walked out and ordered the correct glue to use off Amazon for $25. I have filed a complication with the BBB as they violated the warranty they offered to me when I got the work done. Do not go to this business, they bleed their customers dry, they make up charges and send you bills when you haven't seen them in months. I really wish I didnt go there. The staff at the front of the office and on the phone are awesome, love them. Very professional and kind. However, I felt so rushed did not have procedures properly explained to me AT ALL. The actual staff that works on you seems to be running around always trying to get in as many patients as po$$ible. When i went downstairs to ask another office about Atlantis dental upstairs they rolled their eyes in aggreeance with me of my complaint and said they have had many people go in there an ask them their opinion about atlantis and complain about their experience. I feel like services everywhere are getting worse and worse. THIS PLACE, just ignores everything I say!! I was in a HORRIBLE car accident, where I was hurt pretty badly. They sent me a message looking to reschedule, I told them I don't know when I could be there. I would call them when I felt better. I was injured pretty badly. 4 DAYS LATER!! I GET ANOTHER PHONE CALL!! I REPEATED MY LAST MESSAGE, 3 DAYS AFTER THAT- NOW IM GETTING TEXT MESSAGES AND PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS, TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! I have never been to this place, NOBODY ever asked how I was doing, I have been injured pretty badly!! I told them this has to stop, do you think they listened?? HELL NO!! Im done discussing this with them. Im going to be reaching out to the ATTY GENERALS OFFICE-( who happens to be my relative) Ive had it!! Wgat the hell is going on in this place?? WORST PLACE EVER!!! I went to this office after just giving birth to my daughter 6 years ago. I had a filling fall out and that was my reason for going. They didn't pay to much attention to my issue but instead tried to instill fear that ALL my teeth were going to fall out if I didn't pay $2,500 to have a deep cleaning. I left and never went back! It felt like a scam! Since then they have been harassing me calling endlessly since when they have been told to many times to count to stop contacting me! They should be ashamed of themselves! The worst place. Unorganized. Liars. While in there, they told *every single* patient they had gum disease. Not only that but there were never any issues until going to this place. During the second opinion, they said all this was not true. These people, in my opinion, are rip offs. I can't believe they are still licensed. Forget about asking for your dental records either. No one is trained in doing it so if the one person that's new is out sick or quit, you're out of luck. We also asked for a quote for Invisalign and they said it's 6k and everywhere else it is $1800. Predatory practices. Deceitful and aggressive sales practices. I was told by Dan in the office I could absolutely get financing. That was a lie. They called my cell phone and house about 5 times trying to get me to come back. Stay away from them they are predators. They use fear mongering to try to get you to come back. read more

This is the most unprofessional medical office that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Not only do they lie about the need for services and the work they have done but they charge far more than the insurance will reimburse. They harass patients with emails, text messages and phone calls. The doctors do not listen to the patients and insist if you do not do what they are "suggesting" you will be far worse off. read more

They were pushy trying to get me to have my teeth removed that day while I had my three-year-old son with me while I was in excruciating pain I told him I couldn't do it with him there I was upset I'm pregnant they didn't even take my insurance and I know extractions are free with my insurance so the dentist became so rude that they gave me somebody else's prescription and when I called to tell them that I needed my antibiotic Nobody called me back nobody sent in a prescription until later than next day to the wrong pharmacy which is two towns away and nobody apologize they were so rude I would never recommend th read more

Be aware of the sales and financial advisors whom want to sell services you do not need I will recommend to have 2nd opinion before let them take your money. If you have no money they will offer financial options and will droop you credit score more than 100 points because they will take the 100% of the money available for work that was not done. read more
