My two kids, ages 19 and 21, were both happy with their visits and cleanings as well. Today, I had a crown placed on a huge tooth with a very old filling - all done in one visit. I was extremely nervous, because I have a lifelong issue with difficulty getting my jaw numb for dental work. Dr. Park explained what this condition is and was very reassuring. He was able to numb me with no difficulty, and I am now so relieved to have found a great dentist. He is very pleasant and professional. My crown looks and feels great. Couldn't ask for more. I went to two appointments here: one to get X-rays and in the system, then came back the next day…read moreto get a cavity filled. The first appointment was good! The staff was very kind, they made me feel listened to, and when they found cavities I was glad I could go back the next day to fix it. The day I got my cavities done was a whole different story. When I went in that day, I made two things VERY clear: I was anxious, and I would need more numbing than the average person. Every other place I have gotten cavities filled at has listened and given me extra doses of numbing agent if I needed it, even stopping treatment to add more. I got the gel and one shot, and by the time they started working I couldn't feel my teeth but I was less numb than I thought I should have been. My cavity was far back, so it was going to hurt my jaw regardless. They put something for me to bite in my mouth after they sprayed water in the back of my throat and I flinched. As the procedure went on, my jaw began to hurt a LOT, right around where all the work was being done. I told them it hurt, and they kept going. I tried to power through, and thought I was doing okay, but as the pain increased my anxiety got worse. My whole body was shaking on the table and tears started coming out of my eyes. I even wiped them away! They just kept working, and didn't stop until I raised my hand. I then cried for a few minutes and had to calm down a lot. After that they asked me if I was okay throughout the rest of the process, but how could they have not realized I was in distress? By the end of the procedure I could feel what they were doing to my teeth, they did NOT use enough numbing agent. The cherry on the cake was when at the end, after I had cried and been obviously upset, the dentist told me I should get Invisalign or braces because my jaw is misaligned. NOT THE TIME!! I thought I was okay, but the second I walked out of that waiting room I broke down and sobbed. I didn't stop crying for at least half an hour after, I felt so confused and hurt. I had told them I was anxious and I would need extra numbing, and I felt ignored. I have never cried during a filling before. It was the worst experience I have had in a dentist office, and I will not be returning.

Not just one either. It appears he doesn't know how to properly do a filling, or a root canal. He skips informing patients about the inherit dangers of certain procedures, which is unethical. He also gives improper medical advice, telling me it was fine to leave my wisdom teeth in. Now, at 30, I'm looking at dealing with the cost of that surgery too. There are many caring, smart, and informed dentists in the area. Go there. Stay away from here.
