I am a patient of this dental office for abut 30 years. During all these years the quality of care was always extremely high - starting with Doctor Zweig, then with Doctor Burnes and now with Doctor Lee. Doctor Lee is very knowledgable and very caring dentist, all new-coming doctors are also very good, and my hygienist Renee is absolutely great. My recent visit was not planned, but Doctor Lee and his assistant Tatiana found time for me in the middle of extremely busy day and did absolutely wonderful job. I should also mention very friendly and helpful receptionist Ladies, who meet and greet you as a members of their own family. I never imagined having to write this, but we had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Lee. Our whole family had been seeing him for a few years without issue--until our child had his very first cavity. Dr. Lee chose not to take X-rays (saying our child was too young, though he was almost 6), and filled what he claimed was a medium cavity. Months later, our child was in pain and had stopped eating--turns out the filling hit the tooth pulp. Another dentist told us only a very large cavity or a very aggressive filling could have caused that kind of damage. Because we were never told the filling was serious, we missed early signs, and now our child has lost the tooth. We're incredibly disappointed and feel this could have been avoided with more thorough care. read more

I can't say enough good things more about this awesome dental place. From the phone call, the staff was very kind and caring. I've never experienced welcoming and friendly like this. I usually had a suspicion about dental work becasue of bad experience in the past. Howerver, Dr. Lee helped me to clean my suspicion of dental work as well as sub parts. I also really appreciated the Dr lee was upfront about the cost. He provided me very specific and details about it. The process was really painless both dental cleaning and cost parts. I'm writing this review because Dr. Lee helped me escape from unnecessary care provided by my previous doctor in watertown area. Overtreatment is very common thing with unnecessary cost. After examining my X-rays pics provided from the other place, he explained that it is not a cavity but just stain thing cause by coffee things. I got a bill which is charged around $400 from the previous doctor in west area but i could save it thanks to him. I can say he is very honest and the most proffesional and knowleageable doctor i have ever met so far. I was so happy to be his patient! I'm no longer afraid of getting dental treatment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, quality care dental office under the current pandemic environment. I visited the dental office for the first time on 12/3/20 for a regular check up and cleaning. I was more cautious to make the visit with COVID going on, but this dental office followed all necessary pandemic protocols, including measuring everyone's temperature upon entry, requiring a mask inside the office, and staff members wearing masks and face shields. COVID paper forms had to be filled in prior to my visit, making sure no people with potential symptoms would visit the office. I could tell that the office was taking great care on this aspect and made me feel safe in getting my check up. Xuan, the hygienist I saw, was very thorough with her cleaning and my teeth felt great afterwards. Dr. Lee was also very generous with his time to go through the conditions of my teeth in good detail. Dental x-rays were conducted swiftly, and the overall visit was very smooth and efficient with no waiting. Overall the staff was friendly, and I found my visit a very pleasant experience. I recently moved to Boston from LA and found Dr. Lee/209 Brookline Dental by a google search and reviews. I have had many dental issues (have 5 implants, 2 bridges etc.) & wanted to find a great dentist. I can say that my experience with 209 Brookline Dental was amazing. From the moment I called, I spoke to the lady at the front desk who was professional, kind and helpful/patient with obtaining my dental ppo insurance info. I had my teeth cleaned by Morgan who did an outstanding job and explained so much to me as she was doing it and why. I have not had that before and I really appreciated her explanations. Usually my cleanings are a little uncomfortable and painful for a few mins. With Morgan, she did a comprehensive cleaning and it never hurt. I spoke to Dr. Lee who went over my x-rays and my overall health of my teeth with me. Dr. Lee was very professional and I am so happy that I found my new permanent dentist! I am really, really happy with my dentist, Dr. Joshua Lee and his practice. My hygienist, Suan, is very thorough and extremely competent. The office staff, Anna and Lesley, are very friendly and helpful. I have been going to different dentists over the years, but this whole practice is the best.
