I was referred to see Dr. Joseph to have a root canal procedure done. From the very moment we had the consultation; he was rude, confrontational with me when I asked questions and needed reassurance and overall lacked professionalism. It was clear that he didn't care about what I had to say because anytime I spoke, he couldn't keep any eye contact, kept turning away to fidget with different tools and items and kept looking outside the room. I let it slide as I needed the procedure done for two very severely infected teeth which I couldn't tolerate anymore and the office was the only one who could take me in the quickest as all others were heavily booked. So the appointment was made, I went ahead with the procedure, finally, it's over, its done and I can sleep... I was so wrong. About a week later, the same set of two teeth began with aches and pains again. I made an appointment to go back to see what was going on. When I got there, he really could care less. He told me to wait it out and to continue taking my medication that was prescribed and hurried out the office. I didn't want argue and make a big deal out of it; Fine you're the doctor, you know best, I will do that. within the next 3 days, the gums surrounding the teeth started to form painful blisters and leak pus. It was so severe not even the medications could numb the pain and I had to admit myself into the ER. They gave me corticosteroids and I went to get a second opinion elsewhere on what is exactly happening as I was not going back to him From what I was told, it was such a badly botched procedure that if I didn't take action right away, I would have developed Ludwig's Angina or Osteomyelitis within a week and to put a cherry on top of all of this, he billed my insurance twice for the procedure which is dishonest and fraudulent and I'm currently fighting to get that taken care. I have reported this to the Attorney Generals Office and the Massachusetts Insurance Fraud Bureau. Save your sanity, save your stress, and stay away from this dental office. It's not worth the headache and pain, I am not sure how they are legally allowed to run operations like this

I had a lot of questions. Dr. Beamer was clearly not giving me straight answers - especially to the question of "do I really need this for the health of my teeth?"? When I did my own research at home it became clear she had left out critical information, like how long the treatment would last, and risks, and labor involved on my part (including having to wash retainers daily) etc. Since then, I went back to Turning Leaf Dental and saw a DIFFERENT dentist from their practice. I asked him "Do you think I need invisalign to straighten my teeth?" (he was unaware that Dr. Beamer had strongly recommended it). He said that my teeth were perfectly straight and that he does NOT recommend orthodontic treatment. So two dentists from the same practice gave very different treatment advice. This difference isn't a minor thing - it's the difference of (~$6000 + repeated visits + daily labor). Also, I CONSTANTLY receive marketing emails from them about how I should whiten my teeth and literally just now got a text 10 mins ago that Dr. Beamer is now certified to do botox and wants to help me reach my botox goals. My experience at this practice makes me feel they are more about $$$$ than quality dental care. Having had zero cavitities since I was in elementary school ~30 years ago, Dr. Cha (after an incredibly quick, superficial cleaning) told me I had SEVEN CAVITIES that needed to be filled, and that my teeth grinding required a custom mouthguard. This would come out to around $2k out of pocket (and they would pocket ~3-4x that), and she heavy handedly tried to pressure me to commit that day despite me voicing my hesitation, as I have had my teeth checked every 6 months and have never had a single cavity in my adult life. I'm glad I trusted my gut, because I went for a second opinion at a trusted dentist recommended by a friend. I didn't tip the new dentist off - he reported I had zero cavities, and when I confessed this was a second opinion and that Cambridge Dental Annex had told me I had seven, he was shocked and outraged, saying 'that is completely absurd, your teeth are perfectly fine.' If you're wondering why Cambridge Dental recently went through a rebranding and changed their name, I'll bet it's because of all the reviews revealing they are a complete and total scam. This place should be shut down for preying on people's health to make a quick buck.

New Years Eve fell on a Saturday this year. On Sunday, I received a call from the doctor HIMSELF who told me to come into his office on Monday, January 2nd. His office was closed, yet Dr. Carmine Morreale opened his door personally to meet me and help me with my predicament. It took not even 15 minutes and he took me from crawling on the floor in pain to jumping for joy as he removed the dead tooth! He has since replaced that gaping hole with a beautiful replacement bridge and I am able to smile again! I have not smiled in 3 years since two of my old and massive fillings cracked and took parts of my teeth with them. Dr. Morreale has transformed my mouth from looking like a hill-billy of the West Virginia hills to a Hollywood Glam smile! He has managed to accomplish this task - PAIN-FREE and pleasantly! He really sold himself as an expert in TMJ issues and told me that he had a treatment plan with a 99% success rate in resolving TMJ issues, but it would cost $5,000 out of pocket for a year of treatment and access to his expertise. He told me we would work things like getting me into physical therapy, getting a sleep study, and possible orthodontic work once my symptoms decreased, and to be honest, I felt like he was pressuring me a but to agree to sign up for the treatment plan. I was desperate and foolishly agreed to pay this amount of money. His office helped me schedule an MRI, gave me two appliances, and told me that he would be able to unlock my jaw after the MRI gave them more information. I managed to unlock my jaw on my own before the MRI and had one follow up appointment with him to go over the MRI results. After this he canceled my next follow up appointment and did not reach out to schedule anything else. I scheduled another appointment and told him I was considering getting orthodontic treatment done in hopes of decreasing my TMJ symptoms, since I have malocclusion issues. His office scanned me for Invisalign and told me his office would reach out in a couple weeks to go over the scans. It's been almost four months and he has not reached out. I feel like he really oversold what he would do for me, as I was told that he'd work with me to relieve my TMJ symptoms and make sure my jaw does not lock again. I do not feel like the very limited work he did for me was worth the $5,000 I paid him, and I deeply regret giving him that much money only for him to not really do that much for me. For anyone considering working with him to resolve TMJ issues, I suggest finding a different dentist. While you might have to wait longer to get an appointment with other TMJ dentists, it's most likely worth the wait and won't result in you wasting thousands of dollars. TLDR: Don't waste $5,000 here hoping to resolve your TMJ issues.

I've been coming to Tremont Dental for nearly a decade, and can't imagine going anywhere else. The…read moreoffice is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and the staff are incredibly kind. Over the past ~5 years, I have made a point to specifically schedule appointments with Cindy as my hygienist and Dr. Park as my dentist. Cindy is incredibly talented at her craft--meticulous attention to detail and extremely careful around sensitive areas. She also asks detailed questions and relays important facts to the dentist prior to the evaluation. My cleanings with Cindy are the best I've had, despite having gone to many dental practices in many different cities. She's also an incredibly kind human, and despite seeing me once/6 mos., recalls personal details about my life and follows up with thoughtful questions about family, friends, etc. She's incredibly skilled in the art of patient care and has made my bi-annual check-ups something I look forward to. As a child and young adult, I had a lot of poor dental work and, as a result, can be very nervous about the dentist. Dr. Park has been incredible at quelling those fears. She recently replaced a very deep filling I had from years past, and it was the most superb dental care I've ever received. She's flawless with the novocaine injection, using a distraction technique that completely removes any pain associated with the injection. She ensured the area was completely numb before beginning any work, and despite being near the nerve, was meticulous in removing all cavity and filling the tooth perfectly. She was patient with my fears of feeling the drill and worked at a slow pace and informed me of all the steps she was taking along the way. It takes a lot for me to trust a dentist and I trust her completely. That's also true with her regular examinations--she carefully watches for any deterioration of older fillings, but never recommends work preemptively. Dr. Park is truly a master of her craft, and I hope she will be my dentist for years to come. This is a good time to mention that since leaving Boston for NYC, I make a point to come back once every 6 mos. for my checkups--while I'm sure there are plenty of nice practices in the big apple, I can't imagine it's easy to find such a wonderful hygienist/dentist duo. Thank you to both Cindy and Dr. Park for their superb patient care. I highly recommended them both for anyone looking for the best of the best (and yes, even if you have to drive all the way from NYC...)!
