Stay away from this office. Stay clear please. I just want to be open and tell my story about the terrible experience I recently went through. I was referred to see Dr. Joseph to have a root canal procedure done. From the very moment we had the consultation; he was rude, confrontational with me when I asked questions and needed reassurance and overall lacked professionalism. It was clear that he didn't care about what I had to say because anytime I spoke, he couldn't keep any eye contact, kept turning away to fidget with different tools and items and kept looking outside the room. I let it slide as I needed the procedure done for two very severely infected teeth which I couldn't tolerate anymore and the office was the only one who could take me in the quickest as all others were heavily booked. So the appointment was made, I went ahead with the procedure, finally, it's over, its done and I can sleep... I was so wrong. About a week later, the same set of two teeth began with aches and pains again. I made an appointment to go back to see what was going on. When I got there, he really could care less. He told me to wait it out and to continue taking my medication that was prescribed and hurried out the office. I didn't want argue and make a big deal out of it; Fine you're the doctor, you know best, I will do that. within the next 3 days, the gums surrounding the teeth started to form painful blisters and leak pus. It was so severe not even the medications could numb the pain and I had to admit myself into the ER. They gave me corticosteroids and I went to get a second opinion elsewhere on what is exactly happening as I was not going back to him From what I was told, it was such a badly botched procedure that if I didn't take action right away, I would have developed Ludwig's Angina or Osteomyelitis within a week and to put a cherry on top of all of this, he billed my insurance twice for the procedure which is dishonest and fraudulent and I'm currently fighting to get that taken care. I have reported this to the Attorney Generals Office and the Massachusetts Insurance Fraud Bureau. Save your sanity, save your stress, and stay away from this dental office. It's not worth the headache and pain, I am not sure how they are legally allowed to run operations like this read more

I was referred and sent to Dr. Joseph by my regular dentist. I have a complicated dental history due to dental trauma, and Dr. Joseph listened to my story and was very careful in analyzing the current situation. He and his staff took excellent care of me. Every step was thoroughly explained; Dr. Joseph very patiently and comprehensively answered all of my questions. He and the staff were incredibly kind in making sure I was not charged excessively so that insurance covered the bulk of the work performed. My oral surgery was a success and then some. I want to start out with mentioning Dr. Joseph's bedside manners; they are absolutely stellar and I felt extremely comfortable, well informed, and accounted for when I went to his office. In addition, I went in for a revision of a root canal and noticed that both him and his staff are extremely professional, kind, and informed. His office is extremely tidy, well kept, and COVID-19 practices are highly enforced and taken into account. The office is full of air filters to protect patients (since dental procedures involve having your mouth open). To add on, his staff is also warm, professional, and attentive. In addition, I genuinely thought the pricing for my procedure was extremely fair and was more than happy to pay. Would HIGHLY recommend to everyone! read more

Dr. Joseph was great! I was pretty nervous about getting a root canal, but he put me at ease immediately. He explained everything before he began working on my mouth, so I understood what he was going to do. And after the Novocain wore off, I had no pain on either of the two appointments it took to complete the procedure. Best. Root canal. Ever. My awesome regular dentist sent me to Dr. Joseph to have a root canal redone (I'd had a root canal done elsewhere, and the original root canal work itself was fine but there was some infection in my gum that required having it redone). Dr. Joseph let me know what he was going to do and why, and the whole thing was amazingly painless. I also really appreciated the use of a dental dam to separate out the tooth being worked on, which made for a much more pleasant experience than I expected--I could swallow easily without worrying about getting in the way of the work being done, etc. I don't know why but I've never been anywhere that used dental dams before. I highly recommend this place if you need a root canal done! read more

I've just had my root canal done or rather re-done by Dr. Joseph and his assistant. It was a great experience - as far as dental procedures can go really. I was surprised to learn that though my root canal had already been done and even refreshed once, it turned out that neither all of its four roots were found, nor were they properly taken care of. I could see the astonishing difference right on the x-ray. So, two doctors before Dr. Joseph have failed to do their job properly. I am happy I saw him. My whole root canal procedure took 2 long sessions - 2 and 1.5 hours respectively. It was a long effort on the part of the dentist, and he was truly professional and very meticulous at all times. I really could tell that my root canal was finally treated properly. I really appreciate that. The office is so nice, too: big windows, many beautiful plants, and really cozy. All people there feel supportive - the receptionist, the assistants, the doctor himself. Thank you! read more

This place is lovely! Everyone here is so pleasant and thoughtful, and Dr. Sharma did a great job making me feel comfortable even though I was nervous to get my first root canal. She and her assistant explained the procedure very clearly in advance and made sure I understood what to expect, and kept in good communication throughout. Everything went great and I experienced no discomfort or pain at all- and Dr. Sharma called the next day just to check in! My decision to have a root canal done by this office cost me time, physical pain and two thousand wasted dollars. The procedure went fine, but the pain increased afterwards. I called the office on the morning of day five, in considerable discomfort. No return call until the next day ... to be told that I could be seen the following day. I went, ice pack on my cheek, waited for half an hour to be told that I could not be seen on time. (I have patients of my own and could not stay.) Fed up, I sought another endodontist whose credentials include a background in teaching and a reputation for solving problematic situations. After a more careful review than I had received in advance of the original procedure, he informed me that the root canal had been done ON THE WRONG TOOTH. When I informed Michael Jospeh's office about this I received no reply, no apology, nothing. Tough luck for me. Epilogue: one day after a root canal was performed (on the right tooth) I was pain free. I question the authenticity of the other reviews and will only add that you have been warned. read more

This place is freaking awesome. I was a little nervous about coming here. I've never had a root canal. I was sitting in their waiting room when a woman came out from the back. She had just finished getting a root canal and she was happy! She legit skipped out of the office. That really made me relax a bit. Dr. Joseph and his assistant Karen also put me at ease. He explained everything that was happening and going to happen. Also told me about a really good frozen pizza that he recommends he's just super personable and made the root canal experience a lot easier than I expected. Ann at the desk was really nice and informative. I can't believe I'm saying this but I look forward to going back in a month to finish. I wish dr. Joseph could be my regular dentist. Update: It has been 9 months since the procedure and I am still having pain in the area of the surgery. My neurologist thinks there is nerve damage from opening up that area of my gum twice within a short period of time. I am starting nerve pain medication soon. read more

I cannot say enough about Dr. Joseph and the entire team at Cambridge Endodontics. I had to go in for an urgent root canal in the middle of this pandemic- and I could not have felt safer, more cared for, or had a better outcome. From the moment I entered, the staff was warm, welcoming, and made me feel ready to do something few enjoy. Beyond this, Dr. Joseph was a true master- clearly extremely experienced and competent, he took his time doing the entire procedure- and I am here a few hours later out of pain. I could not be happier with my experience at Cambridge Endodontics. I saw Dr. Joseph for a root canal on a top front tooth. The tooth had been slightly discolored for years, but it wasn't until recently that I learned it was dead :-X and was referred to Dr. Joseph. The whole staff was super friendly and very professional. Even though "root canal" sounded terrifying, the procedure was painless and Dr. Joseph helped me understand what was going on each step of the way. He was also able to bleach the tooth from the inside to get the color back to normal (which I hadn't been able to do myself, as the color was from the calcified root and not an external stain). The root canal was so worth it, and now I'm thrilled with my "matching" teeth smile! read more
