If there were 10 stars the service department at Hanlees Kia would definitely get them from me!! Chris and Dominique are the BEST!!! Very accommodating, informative, thorough and friendly!! When it's time to service my Kia Optima AND when I'm ready to purchase a new car, no doubt this is the dealership I am running too!!! Thanks again you two!!! read more

I was in and out in no time thanks to the EXCELLENT customer service provided by Vinny. I just want to say you rock!

Justin worked with us every step of the way to get the best deal and we drove away in a brand new Kia Niro Hybrid with 50 mpg!! The whole process from over the phone to in person was low key and easy!! Thank you Hanlees Kia team! read more

Hanlees Davis Kia - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - Davis, California

I called because my oil pressure light was on. They brought me in quickly. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a little over 24 hours. Justin Sharma did an excellent job keeping me informed and contacting my dealership in Hawaii to make sure the repairs would be covered under warranty! All in all an excellent experience! read more

Absolute horrible customer service. I met with my service advisor because my car was not shifting properly and my air-conditioning was not working properly. I have a 2020 Kia Nero. The customer advisor did not have knowledge of the product, was unwilling to help me look up my extended service contract. I had to call my previous dealership in Modesto California to get information on the service contract, they looked it up for me and then I had to provide the information to the Current service provider in Davis California. They were slow, rude and did not fix the problem. I also had a tire sensor that was broken after a week and a half I finally got my car back, the tire sensor still wasn't fixed. read more

Went in today and got an excellent deal on a regular oil change. Oil changes also come with a car wash (if you request it--at no charge) which was nice since Davis car washes are pricey. Will definitely use them for the rest of my services! read more

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Called multiple times during business hours with no answer and no machine picked up to leave a message. Then when I did get through to someone they would transfer me to a machine where I left 2 messages for the service department that weren't returned. I had my car towed here because it's still under warranty and the only Kia dealership within reasonable distance. Called ahead to let them know it was coming. A few hours after it was picked up I called to find out a status and was again transferred to leave a voicemail which again wasn't returned. 22 hours after they received it I was finally able to speak to a person who indicated it was finally being looked at. After an hour I received a call indicating they need to run a $145 diagnostic on the car. I say it's under warranty. They said they need authorization for the charge but if it's something that's covered I'd not have to pay it. I say ok. Well a couple hours later I get a call saying that it was a bad fuse, they replaced it and the car was ready. I come in, get my bill and it's $153... apparently it takes a $145 diagnostic exam to find a bad fuse on the item they knew was malfunctioning when the car came in. So $153 to change an $8 fuse. Really?!?! When I complained about the steep price for an $8 fuse the the service manager had the audacity to infer I should be grateful they didn't charge me extra labor on top of it. Seriously?!?! Never again. I'd recommend you pass on this place too. read more

Vinnie was very helpful with my repair! He squeezed me in last minute and had me back on the road within an hour and a half. He explained my cars issue clearly and help me pick the best/most cost effect solution for my problem. He was also very friendly and personable, which made my experience that much better. I would highly recommend requesting Vinnie when having your car serviced here! read more

Couldn't have asked for BETTER support on a terrible day. I was on a trip and I had a cracked oil pan, they were able to take my car in and repair it same day. Not only did they get my car fixed ASAP they were able to offer support to help me solve the issue with another company spending their day on the phone. Vinnie and the crew Literally went above and beyond to help me during a crazy day. I couldn't be more appreciative. read more

Just wanted to do a shoutout to a guy named Vinny! My car battery died and I had asked about 6 people at the McDonalds if they would give me a jump. I had the jumper cables but unfortunately they all declined to help me. I'm not even a customer here and I decided to see if someone at this dealership might help me here and behold Vinny helped me! This guy really went out his way for a non-customer! I really appreciate the help! Give this guy a free lunch or something! He's awesome for doing this!!!!! God bless him! read more

They tend to overcharge you and also recommend unnecessary part replacements. Be very careful dealing with this service team.

I Purchased my 2015 Kia from the previous owner of this auto lot. At the time to bring the car down for a quick oil change was fast and very convenient. Since the new company took over, Hanlees, and a pain in the butt. This week I called to make an appointment for 10 AM, I arrived early and was told it would be two hours because there's so many people in front of me. Why are there so many people if I made an appointment? Unfortunately they have lost my business. read more

Just wanted to say this dealership is amazing. My daughter's car broke down and we have been searching for a Kia Optima for a few months. We have dealt with a few different dealerships in the area. We called Davis and from the second they answered the phone I was SOLD. Didn't tell me just what I wanted to hear but gave me exactly what I wanted and was quoted. My sales person was Randy. Very professional etc. The service people were also A+ I would recommend this dealership to everyone. I live in Rocklin Ca and it takes me 40 min to get there well worth the drive. We will be back for sure. I have two more drivers in the house. Thank you happy customer read more

Really disappointed in our quick visit today. The vehicles were beyond dirty. Sales rep knew very little about his product and being a bit old fashioned we asked for a brochure so that we. Could compare features and not a one for that model plenty for the others. read more

They are the most pushy, impatient and rudest salesman ive ever came across. Even trying to make a deal over the phone they are very unprofessional. Regret ever going here!!! read more

I had sworn off dealership purchases and planned to buy online or elsewhere, but Hanlees Davis Kia had the car we wanted so we gave it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Sean and the whole team were genuine and helpful and we are very happy with our purchase. I recommend. read more

Took over a week to get an appointment then drop car to repair door and that took over two weeks. No communication regarding status. Had to call several times for updates. This dealership used to be good but now.... read more

They need to work on their customer service. I went in looking for direction on a safety related KIA recall, was told to wait. I ended up waiting 2 hours until I had to ask how much longer! Both the receptionist and service lady(older blonde) saw me sitting there throughout the 2 hours, I kept looking over at service lady's office and she had no one in there. When I asked the receptionist, she said I can just go ahead into the service lady's office since it looked like she wasn't busy, couldn't tell me that an hour before? Turned out to be a 2 minute, TWO MINUTE, conversation. Service lady seemed like she was not in the best mood to help me. I ended up going to another KIA dealer with a much kinder and helpful service department. read more

So I wouldn't normally say anything bad but this business is crap! I recently bought a car here, BAD IDEA! First problem, no antenna, radio didn't work, I was told I broke it and I would need to replace it. Good thing I had a photo of the car before I bought it. So they took care of the antenna radio issue. Next, car seat wouldn't lay flat in the back, that was a 2 weeks issue they took to fix. Next I get a call 2 months after buying the car, saying it wasn't smogged and I would need to take it in and they would reimburse me. (This btw was in my contract as paid for and complete... lies), when I took in the car nobody gave me any info on how long it would take what was going on and when it was complete the guy just gave me the keys and I left, no info on if it passed or anything just here's your keys have a good day. Now here's the kicker, after al those things they didn't know were wrong with the car, I take a weekend trip and am Un able to open the rear passenger side at all, because it's normal for someone to open that door.... not in my case I use the driver door and that's it. So they accuse me of breaking the door, and remind me they sold it as is and that was "probably like that and that I signed a contract". I get a call from the maintenance guy and he says it looks like someone was in the door and there's pieces broken, hmmm if that's the case they most likely did it when they were attempting to figure out the radio issue. This place is money hungry and not care about the cars they sell and don't even know anything about the cars they sell. SECH is one of the sales managers and is a piece of work. I wouldn't recommend going here for a car to save your life. The maintenance team is great and are put in bad situations when the sales team does bad business. So do not get a car here. Take your business elsewhere! The service team is great and deserve your business just not the sales team. I couldn't even sell this car for the bluebook price because they sold me a broken vehicle at an incorrect price with broken antenna, back seat, rear door and honestly who knows what else. Just avoid this place. Lesson learned don't get a car without it being checked out first.... you'd think the dealer would do that before they sold it. Not here! read more

I honestly tried to be fair with this team, but sometimes that just doesn't work. This is my first Yelp Review and honestly I am appalled with my experience. My car was taken in back in May for an Engineer Repair. It wasn't the fact that my car took 3 months to get back (that was not their fault), it was the fact that within that 3 month period I had 3 points of contact, ALL of which ended up leaving the Dealership, and NONE of which told or notified me. I called the office MULTIPLE times for simple updates. Not once did I raise my voice, not once did I try to file a formal complaint. Each time either NO ONE answered or they said that someone would get back to me, but guess what? NO ONE EVER DID. I am still waiting on over $1,000 to be refunded to me because they cannot seem to mail my receipts to the car company. I really hope this team gets it together, but in the mean time I will NEVER come back to this dealer, ever again. read more

This review is in regards to Hanlees Kia service department. When I arrived to drop my vehicle off for my scheduled appointment I was told that since the basic portion of my warranty has expired there would be a $350 fee to "diagnose" the problem. YES, THAT'S THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS JUST TO TELL ME WHAT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED! Absolutely ridiculous, considering that I brought the car in for one malfunctioning door lock and the airbag light. Needless to say I didn't leave it as I can only imagine what the actual repair cost would have been. Even if they credit the $350 toward the repairs (not that I stuck around long enough for that sales pitch) they should have informed me that this fee would apply when I made the appointment. I've had my car serviced there before, they can see that it's a 2012 and likely has exceeded the 60,000 mile "basic warranty" period. Extremely disappointing given that I've had a good experience there in the past, guess I'll be finding someone else moving forward. Also, an interesting aside, when I requested the service appointment online I received an email with a quote to purchase a new vehicle almost immediately, but it took them two days to respond to my appointment request. Guess they're more interested in selling new vehicles than servicing their existing customers. read more

I usually come here with my mother to get our cars checked up, but today when we went, no one was seen wearing a mask inside. Not the employees, few customers, no 6 ft distancing between them indoors, no doors open, no indoor ventilation. No precautions. A little later I did see one person who I think was the mechanic wearing a mask consistently. The person who had me sign for my service wasn't wearing a mask when taking my keys, and wore a bandana with the nose exposed when standing near me as I signed for my service. The receptionist talked to me with her mask under her chin. My mother and I were extremely nervous while inside the building since almost no one was following the guidelines for Covid safety. I was there for over an hour waiting for my car, which I don't mind usually, but this time I did mind because I felt they didn't care enough about safety. read more

Ron Tilson was my sales rep. He was well informed with his products (cars), listened to what I needed and followed up with questions to completely cover all aspects of my visit. Ron gave me a play by play as we went through the process of my purchase. Mike Shannon one of the sales managers was up-front and concise with his answers to my questions. Mike gave me a great VALUE for my trade-in vehicle. Lisa (finance Rep.) she was straight forward, upfront with all my options and saved me money in the long run plus got me a better rate with full extended warranty for the best price. Thank you again Lisa. I gave 5 stars to these two Representatives and the Car company for outstanding service and up - front and ready to meet or exceed my needs for a new car purchase. I took my car for an oil change multiple times on Saturdays and they did a pretty good job in my opinion. Justin was one the service representatives and he was very courteous, professional and friendly. He made sure my car was well cared for. At the end he gave me a brief summary of how the car was doing and walked me through the list of things the mechanics worked on (or checked). I never had any issues with them and the pricing was very reasonable. Thank you Justin!! read more

I am very content and appreciative of the service here. I am a first time car buyer and Jorge Mora helped me get the best deal 10/10!! I checked out other dealerships in the area, but it didn't compare to the honest, legitimate, and helpful service Jorge provided. I gave him my budget and he worked with it: low monthly payments, low interest rate. If you're a university student(or any one in general) and are looking into buying a first car check him out!! I am so happy with my new car! Thank you so much Jorge! read more

Blanca from Service Department is amazing very informative and just a breath of fresh air. Glad I chose to purchase with them!!!!

Just bought a Dodge Charger SRT from Neel. What an excellent customer service experience. The dealership was honest and upfront about the pricing. Alex worked out great interest rate and made it possible for us to get the car even with a not so good credit. Even their sales Manager Mike took personal interest to make it happen for me. He came to greet me and patiently answered all the questions I had. I am totally impressed with Alex and Neel and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an efficient and customer oriented car buying experience. read more

We got an unbeatable deal today on a Kia, thanks to the helpful staff at Hanlees Davis Kia. Thank you, Cezar Olivera, for the legwork you did behind the scenes before we arrived to secure us a fantastic price and answering several questions by email. Our meeting today was painless, respectful and pleasant, making this business an easy one to recommend to family and friends. Special thanks to sales manager, Andros, for approving a deal we couldn't refuse. Start to finish, we were impressed with and grateful for the communication and transaction. read more

Ever since this dealership changed ownership from Swift Kia & Chrysler to Hanlees Kia, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Kia, the service has not been the same. And now it's so bad that there is no service. Just getting an oil change with an appt. (I arrived 15 mins before my appt.), took 2.5 hours and I only got my car back at that point because I started asking for someone to get me the paperwork so I could pay and get out of there. And even then, they hadn't washed the car yet, had parked it in the ready aisle and just left it there and then when I was upset, they offered to run the car through the wash. I was to get a complimentary detail wash, I passed and said a regular wash would be fine to save time, but they couldn't even do that in over 2.5 hours. I felt like there wasn't really any customer service and wonder if any of their employees are happy? They just didn't seem to care and that passed on to the customer. I hope I'm wrong. read more

We would like to thank Shawn Sanders for a great time and a job well done. Thank you so much, from the Tate family.

Had a terrible car shopping experience here. The sales people didn't listen to me at all, pulled my credit twice without my permission and when they saw I was leaving without buying- they began insulting me. Even went so far as to yell across the room to me. I emailed corporate about my experience and have heard nothing back. Will never shop Hanlees again. read more
