Wasn't that big of a burger or really great for the price it was. Was expecting a little bit more than offered.

We were excited to have a gourmet burger place in the neighborhood and tried takeout tonight. They got our order wrong unfortunately but promised to offer an additional burger next time. The Korean burger was tasty but it could benefit from more acidity so adding some citrus element or picked cucumber could help cut through the heaviness of the meat and kimchi. The meat patty also felt a bit overcooked. The original burger tasted good. We originally ordered a chicken burger but ended up getting the falafel one - it was quite blend and it felt like a miss. The regular fries were good but can benefit from less salt. The asparagus fries was ok. The coating wasn't all there - probably won't order it again. Overall I would give 3.5 stars but I want to go back and give another try since they just opened and probably could use some time to perfect the food. The store was very busy on a Friday night and it has a full bar serving alcohol. The ambiance is casual. The customer service was great. read more

Not at all worth the price. Very chic and trendy marketing but the food and service completely left all of us that ate there wondering why we did. Fish sandwiches were just awful, burgers weren't at all meeting the expectations of the price point. Simply not a place worth going back to, or going to in the first place. What an amazing find. We saw Hangry Burger while driving down the street, and earmarked a future visit. We were not disappointed. The place is very modern and has a clear visual appeal, with comfortable seating, high-tops, and large televisions. The music isn't too loud. I especially enjoyed the presence of a full bar on premise. While waiting, we had a bloody Mary. It was delicious and served to us very quickly. But the star of the show was definitely the food! I had the Livid Lamb, and Heather had the single Hangry Burger. My sandwich was absolutely outstanding. The quality of the ingredients is clear as soon as you sink your teeth. Making a lamb patty is tricky: it can turn dry in a heartbeat. This was juicy inside, and charred just perfectly on the outside. The tzatziki was fresh, as were the veggies, and the tanginess of the halloumi was the perfect counterbalance to the sweetness of the lamb burger. We also had the seasoned fries. Those were good, but the seasoning was a bit underwhelming. I expected a little more "sparkle" from the fries. We also tried the fried asparagus spears, and they were absolutely outstanding! We love patronizing a local restaurant, and this will not be difficult to make an absolute favorite. Can't wait to be back! read more

We stopped in at Hangry Burger on our way home from DC. We found it by searching for restaurants on Apple Maps that weren't too far off 95. It had great reviews (4 stars), and we love burgers and fries so we were excited to try it. I had the breakfast BLT (with an added burger patty) with sweet potato fries. My wife had the hangry burger with regular fries. We ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders for our toddler. I get that the food is made fresh, but the time it took to get our food was at least 20min. Not to mention, orders for customers who arrived after us, came out first. And with a hangry toddler, waiting that long isn't exactly ideal. We finally get our food, and overall it was not good. Our child hated the chicken tenders, they were bland and under-seasoned. My BLT burger was pretty disappointing with fatty/chewy bacon, gross looking lettuce, and the patty itself was nowhere to be found for the first 4 bites I took. I also paid extra for avocado and didn't get it. My wife's opinion of the hangry burger was "dry and barely filled 3/4 of the bun." The sweet potato fries were ok, very salty and overall not great. The regular fries were good. That's the only thing all 3 of us liked. We also felt it was over-priced in comparison to the burger places we usually eat at, and we get dessert. Revising my review as we came two more times and unfortunately we were disappointed with the most recent visits. First, there are a couple popular sauces such as BBQ that the cashier told us are not allowed to be infused with the wings? As in they refuse to toss a popular sauce with the wings? However, they have others sauces that they do? I don't understand why they do this. Overall $18 for 12 wings is higher than competitors but the quality of meat is great. We are just not a fan at all of the sauces. The pineapple jerk had a very sweet flavor and just made the wings soggy and slippery with its jam liked textured. Didn't taste salt or spice. Fireside is literally spicy mayo, tasted off-putting on the wings. One more thing to add!! The side of bagged blue cheese and ranch on size was disappointing. Every single burger joint or pizza place we have been to that is high quality provides fresh blue cheese or fresh ranch that was refrigerated. Giving warm packets or sauce isn't a good idea. Still a decent spot but unfortunately our very first visit was the only good experience. This was a genuine and honest review. This joint has clever marketing and makes their food sound very appealing from the name of the establishment down to the menu and the description of the food. When we first saw it, I was excited to have this new option for a good hamburger in my community. Once I ate there it was a different story. The customer service was good and the staff was friendly. ButThe prices were high and the food was mediocre. I think I got a single burger and fries for about $15, including small tip. Came in and grabbed the kimchi burger and hubby hot a mushroom burger. I was hooked at first bite sweet and that crispy kimchi mmmmm. Besides being so delicious it was a cool laid back vibe . I was driving around the area looking for somewhere to eat and I noticed this halal burger place. Decided to stop by. Best decision ever!!!!! They nailed the classic burger. Very moist, flavorful. I stopped in out of curiosity when running an errand next door. I was very impressed with the menu and the quality of food. Staff were great- friendly and helpful. The food at Hangry Burger is excellent, we have ordered and been there a few times. The burgers are quite diverse with different flavors, and they are all excellent, here is some specific feedback: - Unlawful Falafel: the patty is deicious and very authentic tasting. However, the burger did come out a bit dry because the Tahini portion was too little. They should more generous with the sauce on this one. - Mushroom Meltdown: outstanding. The use of gruyere is spot on, the onions and mushroom work nicely. - Salmon burger: Great tasting and has interesting ingredients. - Fries: both regular and sweet potatoes are great, but I suggest the in-restaurant menu be clearer for the fries. Let me start by saying the people are very friendly and attentive! It was my first time there and I was starving. I got the #1 with cheese combo and sweet potato fries. Sweet potato fries were delicious but it was SO much!!! I couldn't finish, maybe it was large? I didn't see there was a size option. Aptly named, Hangry Burger, left me hangry after we waited almost 40 minutes for our carry out meal that we ordered 50 minutes before our selected pick up time. That's right, 90 minutes for burgers. It was our first visit to Hangry Burger. We went for a school fundraiser. The menu looked great. We ordered at 5:40 PM for pick up at 6:30 PM, but had to wait at the restaurant from 6:30 until 7:08 to get our food. The waiting time was a guessing game as orders made in the restaurant got a number, but online orders were shuffled in between while staff asked our number repeatedly and we had to say we didn't have one and then share the name on the order only to be told "oh, it's coming up" or "just a few more minutes" each of the four times. When we finally got our order and took it home and sat down to eat it only 10 minutes later, it was already room temperature and the fries were soggy. Perhaps it would have been better hot, but it was underwhelming. There was nothing notable about our meal. It was pretty standard "gourmet" burger fare. One of the sandwiches was missing a topping (eggplant) that was the reason for it being selected over another choice. I find it most troubling that the management didn't even acknowledge how late our food was, let alone try to make it right. I'm happy a percentage went to support a school but will not be returning. read more
